The End of the Story

Disappointment

The twilight scratches in the afternoon sky were slowly blending in with the dark of the night. The waves that were getting closer began to wet the feet of Dini and Andi.

They were still standing staring at each other witnessed by the twilight light that was about to leave.

Dini was silent, he did not answer any of the questions that Andi gave. Up to one drop of her tears actually spilled along with the loss of light at the western end of the sky that afternoon.

Dini then set her foot to leave Andi, she walked by wiping away the tears that had soaked her cheeks.

The sharp sword seemed to have stabbed his chest so deeply. There was a disappointment that made his heart ache and hurt.

The friend who had been with him, the friend who had always been there for him, the friend who always understood him now like everyone else in front of him.

Dini did not understand why she could be so sad because of that. Either because he had lived his life with Andi for too long, or because there were other feelings that he was not aware of.

Suddenly Andi pulled Dini's hand and hugged her, making Dini even more shed her tears in Andi's embrace.

Tight in Dini's heart seemed to loosen as she got a warm hug from her best friend. Although it felt painful, he still hugged his best friend tightly.

"I'm sorry Din, I'm sorry" said Andi who still hugged Dini tightly.

Dini was silent, she still vented all the pain in her heart by crying in Andi's arms.

"I love you more than you know Din, I trust you more than anyone, I'm sorry because without me knowing my attitude hurts you, I'm sorry because what I did made you sad and hurt, I'm really sorry" said Andi who felt so guilty about Dini.

Seeing Early cry in front of him made his heart ache, especially when the tears fell because of his attitude that accidentally hurt Dini, making Andi feel like a failure to love Dini.

Early still sobbed in Andi's arms, but in the pain she felt, there was a cold breeze that hit the corner of her heart.

"when we are wounded by love and healed by the same love,"

Adit's words suddenly ring in his head. He did not understand what he was feeling at the time. But one thing he knew, Andi was still in his heart, even after he chose Dimas to be his future.

For a while Andi and Dini were still hugging each other. Under the moonlight and the sparkling stars of the night, the wind caressed them with love blown into their hearts.

Deep into the corner of the heart that will not be easy to shake, defeated, broken or separated.

Love has been deeply ingrained and deeply rooted in the heart, growing and blooming along with the togetherness they have always created.

A flower of love capable of spreading happiness at every step, carrying destiny shows the way slowly.

Love has come and lived forever in friendship. Either for Andi and Dini, or just for one of them.

Love has echoed its echoes, spreading happiness in every embrace of warmth created.

But love cannot always be touched easily by someone who doubts the feeling in his heart.

The feeling of doubt is what makes Dini survive the relationship they call friendship.

Andi then released Dini from her embrace, her hands gently erasing the tears on Dini's cheeks.

Dini was still silent by lowering her head, she did not understand her feelings back then.

Andi then grasped Dini's hand and invited her to sit in a chair under the dim light of the light bulb.

"I want to go home" said Dini by pulling his hand from Andi's grasp and then stood up.

"Come," replied Andi who also stood up.

"I went home alone" said Dini and walked away from Andi.

"I'll take you home" Andi said, holding Dini's hand.

"I don't know what I really feel right now Ndi, which I know I'm disappointed with you, so please give me time to understand my own feelings," said Dini by pulling his hand from Andi then walked towards the taxi that had just dropped off his passengers.

Dinipun left Andi, while Andi immediately got into the car and asked Rudi to follow the taxi that Dini was riding, just to make sure if Dini would get home well.

"I'm in front of the cab sir!" andi said to Rudi.

"Well, mas" Rudi replied without asking much.

Seeing Dini who came home by taxi, enough to make Rudi understand if Andi and Dini are not okay.

Arriving early in front of his house, he immediately went down. Andi who had just arrived at that time also immediately came down and ran to Dini but Dini immediately entered the house and closed the door of his house.

Seeing Early cry because of her mistake, made her feel extremely useless.

Dini then smiled considering how her friend teased her for wearing the same patterned clothes that Dimas was wearing that night.

Dini then folded the mini dress and put it back into the closet. Dini then took her phone and saw a photo of her togetherness with Dimas.

Suddenly his phone rang, a call from Andi. Dini then put her phone and ignored Andi's call.

Dini just scrunched her forehead hearing Adit's answer.

"Sir Adit what the hell, Early want to marry the same Dimas!" reply Early who was upset with Adit's joke.

"Why don't you want to marry Andi? isn't Andi the kind of husband that's good for you?" tanya Adit teases Dini.

Arriving at Siska's mother's house, Andi and Siska's mother were waiting at the dining table.
