The End of the Story

Dusk on Beach

It was still the same night with the stars and moon shining. Dimas had already decided what he thought was best, not only for him but for those he loved.

"Dimas agrees!" said Dimas who made his mom and dad a little surprised.

"Darling, are you sure?" ask mama Dimas.

"Dimas is sure ma, anything will be done for Andini defense," replied Dimas full of confidence.

Elsewhere, in the parking lot of a hospital a man and a woman were arguing in a car.

The morning came, the clock showed at 6 am. Dini was getting ready to go to the office after spending her breakfast with her mother.

Adit then called someone else to prepare his drink.

When Dini will prepare warm water, there is already someone who is also preparing warm water.

"Exit my lunch schedule, mom asked me to take you to lunch together at home" Adit told Dini.

Dini is still silent, he tries to digest the word Adit well.

"No sir, I'll clear Mr. Adit's lunch schedule" replied Dini.

Adit then gestured with his hand for Dini to come out. He returned to his room and continued his work.

While Dini was photographing copies of some of her files, someone came over to her.

"Enak ya be the boss' girlfriend, do not get angry even if wrong!" say that someone.

The one who heard it was silent. Although he knew if the speech was intended for him he did not give any response because he felt he was not the girlfriend of his boss.

"Basin' cheap chick!" said someone when Dini was gone, but Dini could still hear him clearly.

"do not care about Din, focus on your cooperation," said Dini advised himself.

Lunch time arrives. Dini and Adit leave the office to have lunch together at Adit's mom's house.

Once there, they were greeted by their mother. Mama Adit immediately approached Dini and took her hand to be invited in.

"Adit jealous loh ma," said Adit who was abandoned by his mother.

They had a quiet lunch and sat in the courtyard of a house filled with flowers.

"Do you like flowers?" ask Dini.

"Dear, not only mama, Adit and his papa also like, that's why there are so many flowers here?"

"Sir Adit likes flowers?" ask Dini to Adit with a face of disbelief.

"Yes, is something wrong?"

"It doesn't fit hehe...."

"Don't you think only women love Din flowers, I'm just as papa....."

"Wait, Mama wants to ask something," said mama Adit cut Adit's speech.

"How long have you been dating?" ask Mama Adit who feels doubtful about Adit and Dini's relationship.

They answered simultaneously but with different answers.

"It's only been 2 weeks, hasn't Din?" adit.

"Yes, 2 weeks" replied Dini.

"But the way you guys talk makes you doubtful" said Mama Adit then moved from her seat, leaving Adit and Dini.

"Where's Sir?" tanya Dini whispered to Adit.

"You're here" said Adit and chased after his mother.

A few minutes waiting, Adit came out and invited Dini to return to the office.

"Mommy angry sir?" ask Dini.

"No, you calm down" replied Adit.

"Thank God then."

"Din, I want to say something to you, it's out of work" Adit said as they were on their way to the office.

"Please sir," reply Early.

"I want us to be on good terms with Din, whether it's in terms of work or outside of work, I want us to be friends like me with Ana, that's if you don't mind," adit said with an occasional look at Dini.

Dini shook her head slowly.

"You mean?" ask Adit.

"I don't mind sir," Dini replied with a sweet smile.

"Don't call me 'sir' outside the office, do I look that old?"

"Sorry sir, I...."

"We can have a casual chat outside of Din's work, don't assume I'm your boss, as long as we're out of work you have to activate your 'friend mode', okay?"

Dini nodded with a fluffy smile on her lips. Although at first they still often talk formally, gradually they will be more accustomed to casual chat like friends.

At exactly 5 pm, Dini and Andi were already on the beach. They sat together enjoying the afternoon breeze under the orange sky.

"Where is today?" ask Andi.

"Fun," replied Early.

"Do you think Dimas is here?" ask Andi.

"Surely, I'm sure he's here" Andi replied with confidence.

"Aren't they jealous of me as you are?"

"OK I go, I'm sitting far away there!" said Andi while standing but Dini pulled Andi's hand.

"Don't, I want you here alone," said Dini by hugging Andi who was back sitting next to him.

"If you hug like this Dimas can be jealous!" reply Andi by releasing the Early hand that hugged her.

"Yes, okay, I'm going" said Dini and stood up and ran away.

Andi ran after Dini then caught her and tickled her.

They looked happy, joking and laughing under the increasingly dark sky.

There, under the coconut tree, a smile streaked across his handsome face. The happiness of seeing her girl's cheerfulness overcame the jealousy in her heart.
