The End of the Story

Grief

The dark night seemed silent. There are no stars and moon accompanying each other. They seemed to agree to leave, letting the heart wail alone.

He sat in the window of his room. His eyes glared far through the darkness of the night. He wanted to be able to stand firm, but the pain in his heart pulled him back into the abyss of sadness.

"early Spirit, wait for Dimas to return and you will be together as before" said Dini in his heart.

He then laid his body on the bed. He deliberately left the window of his room open, letting the night breeze embrace his night that felt increasingly cold because of his separation with Dimas.

He groaned in the silence of his eyes, holding back all the tightness that seemed to hold him so tightly.

Until morning came, the taste was still there. A pain without anyone hurting. Not Dimas, not his love, but fate was what hurt him so much.

Gets a cell phone at his desk. Since last night he accidentally disabled his phone and so many messages came in after he re-activated it.

He ignored all the messages. He just opened Dimas' message and read it again.

Andini, I know it's not easy for you for me either, but it's the best way, it's the path we both have chosen, so I hope you never regret it. Dini smiled with a clear circle that came back dripping from both corners of her eyes, but she immediately wiped it off. He had to smile, he just had to wait for Dimas to come back to him.

Early then grabbed his towel and immediately took a shower. That morning, the sun had not greeted him yet but Dini was already sitting at the bus stop waiting to take him to the office.

He arrived at the office earlier than usual. The office room was still very quiet, there were only a few who had already come.

He entered his room and immediately completed his task.

The clock is almost 7am. Early immediately prepare a warm drink for Adit and put it on Adit's desk. He then returned to his job.

When Adit entered his room, Dini immediately brought Adit's daily schedule and gave the files he had completed.

"Excuse me sir, this is Mr. Adit's schedule today and this is the meeting material that Mr. Adit requested," Dini told Adit.

"Learn the meeting material, you will replace me later in the afternoon," said Adit while copying the file that Dini brought.

"I'm myself sir?"

"You're the same Jaka, there's something else I have to do!"

"But sir....."

"Alright sir, excuse me," replied Early and then immediately out of Adit's room.

The clock has shown at 9, another hour of meetings will begin, but Dini still can not master the meeting material well.

I don't know what happened to him, he couldn't concentrate well that day. Makes him so upset with himself.

"ayo Din, focus focus, time to work," said Dini in his heart.

Up to 30 minutes before the meeting began, Dini still looks restless. He paced back and forth in front of his desk with meeting materials that he had to understand.

Giving up, he lost his concentration. The meeting material that he did himself could not even understand at all.

He sat on the floor hugging both of his legs. She was crying because she was so upset with herself.

On the other hand, Adit who saw that immediately came to the room Early. He went in and threw a map in the direction of Dini.

"What the hell are you Din!"

Seeing Adit coming, Dini immediately stood up and wiped his tears after packing the contents of the map scattered around him.

"If you get sick, go home, I won't hire a sick employee here!"

"Focus with your work and do your best for your work!" said Adit then out of the room Early and back to his room.

Dini then went to the bathroom and washed her face then put on her thin makeup again.

"Sir Adit really, this is work time, I just have to focus on cooperation, can not think of others, huuuffttt spirit Dini, you certainly can," said Dini encouraged himself.

Early and then back to his room and immediately learn the meeting materials that will start in 20 minutes. He read the file that Adit threw at him, it turned out that it was a brief summary of the meeting material he had been working on. With that, Dini became easier to learn it.

Shortly after, Jaka entered the room.

"Are you ready for Din?" ask Jaka.

Dini shook her head slowly.

"Sir Adit already love the distribution of meeting materials, right? you just need to understand the part that Mr. Adit gave, the rest believe in me!"

"Thank God if that is so, thank you very much Mr. Jaka," replied Early relieved.

"Make sure you master the material Mr. Adit gave you!"

"Alright sir," reply Early.

The clock has shown at 10 noon, Dini and Jaka are already in the meeting room at the company where they work.

2 Hours passed, the meeting went well. Dini can master well the material given to her and Jaka can be a good back up for Dini.

"with such a short time he can understand the same matter? not bad either, but it was thanks to the help of Mr. Adit," said Jaka in his heart.

They left the meeting room. Dini returned to her room, while Jaka went to the cafeteria because it was lunchtime.

Dini immediately worked on the report of the meeting results, he was not at all interested in filling his stomach that had thrashed.

Every now and then he looked into Adit's room, empty. Adit was not in his room at the time. Whether it was lunch or some other interest, Dini did not think about it.

30 Minutes before lunch, Adit returned to his room. Seeing that, Dini immediately gave a report on the results of his meeting to Adit.

"Excuse me sir, this is the report of the meeting earlier," said Dini while giving a map to Adit.

Adit received the map and looked towards his watch.

"still lunchtime," said Adit.

"No sir, I finished my meeting to do the report" replied Dini.

Adit nodded his head. He then took some maps and gave them to Dini.

"This is the meeting material that you have to arrange, learn well, the day after we will meet with important clients, Jaka will help you!"

"Okay sir, I'm sorry."

Come back to his room.

The clock has shown at 3 pm, another hour he must prepare to go home.

"Din, here are some files that you have to check before handing over Mr. Adit, the deadline until the end of the month, but if you can work faster better," said Jaka while putting a stack of folders on the Early workbench.

"Okay sir" replied Dini.

Shortly after Jaka left, a beautiful girl came in and gave him another pile of maps.

Now, a pile of work was waiting for him to finish.

For him it is not a big deal, he will spend his time just to work. That way, he would not think about the things that made him sad.

The clock showed at 5pm. Early felt his eyes were tired of staring at the monitor screen in front of him, but the pile of work still had to be completed.

Go to the pantry to make coffee. When he returns, he realizes that Adit is still in his room.

Early and again busy, until it does not feel the clock has shown at 6 pm. The atmosphere of the office was deserted, but he was reluctant to go home.

He returned to the pantry to make coffee and continued his work again.

Unknowingly, Dini fell asleep at her desk.

Adit who saw it immediately packed his goods and then entered the room Early.

"Din, are you sleeping?" adit asked slowly, but there was no answer.

Adit then touched Dini's shoulder and called her slowly. With both eyes still closed, Dini pulled Adit's hand and grasped it.

Drops of tears soaked Adit's hand that was in Early grasp.

"What happened to you Din?" ask Adit slowly.

There was no answer, only sobs were heard in the silence of the room.

Accidentally a security guard who was going around hit the trash can, making Dini immediately wake up from his sleep.

Dini blinked her eyes looking at the man before her. He was still on the verge of consciousness after falling asleep for a few minutes at his desk.

"My hand," said Adit with his gaze towards his hand that was still in Early grip.

Early realized that he was holding Adit's hand. He immediately released it.

"Sorry sir, sorry, I fell asleep, I....."

"Hurry home, the office is quiet!" adit said then walked out of the room Early.

Dini just nodded. He still did not understand what had just happened. He then rubbed his wet face, for some reason he felt his chest tight.

"do I cry? in front of Mr Adit? holding his hand, Adit? aaarrgghhh you what the hell is Din!"

"Not come home yet?" ask the security guard who just arrived.

"This is going home sir," replied Dini and immediately packed the goods after saving the file he had been working on.

Come out of his room. He walked towards the lobby which was already very quiet. In front of the office, he sat by the side of the road on the sidewalk.

His eyes stared at the crowd of the highway before him. In the crowd, he felt alone. His heart felt empty.

Her tears did not feel the sadness that still lingered in her. He immediately wiped his tears. Damn, the more he tried hard, the more he tried hard, his chest felt more tight.

The pain squeezed his chest as if it gave him no room at all in his heart to feel happy.

Dimas who saw Andi came just smiled faintly. At least he was no longer worried about Dini because there was Andi who accompanied him.

Dimas then drove his car that had been parked there for almost 3 hours.

"We're going home!" take Andi to Dini.

Just stay in his place. His gaze was as blank as the state of his heart back then.

Andi then sat down beside Dini, pulling Dini's hand into his grasp.

"I'm always here for you, Din, I'll hear all your complaints, your happy stories, I'll be a good listener for you, so never hesitate to make the story all the same me," said Andi.

He brought his eyes to Andi. He looked at the man in front of him. The man who always accompanied her, the man who was always with her, the man who was always there for her.

"Make it now, just let me be myself Ndi," said Dini slowly.

Dini then pulled her hand from Andi's grasp and stood up, walking away from Andi.

Andi who saw that could only accept it. He let Dini walk alone, while he followed her from behind.

"i know we are only Ndi's friends, the debate that I feel because we have been friends for a long time, in the fact that my heart belongs to Dimas, forever," said Dini in her heart.

Early in the day, a bus takes her home, as does Andi. But Andi still keeps his distance from Dini. He was trying to understand the Early situation at that time.

Some time ago, Dimas had explained everything that happened between Dini and Dimas to Andi. It made him sad, he knew how Dini would live his day with sadness that still remained in his heart.

As a friend, he can only try to make Dini back okay even though he knows it will not be easy for him.
