The Limits of Patience

That afternoon Adit was in the hospital with Ana. They just took Adit's CT scan.

"I told you I'm good!" adit said after seeing the results of his milile CT scan.

"Thank God, I'm just worried about you!"

"Well, how dear is it to me?"

They split. Adit immediately returned to the office with Rudi.

Adit then took his phone and contacted someone.

"Hello, have you had lunch?" ask Adit after someone receives his call.

"Not yet."

"Bring me lunch, wait in your room."

"Thank you brother."

Adit then stopped by a shop and bought Dini lunch.

Arriving at the office, Adit immediately entered the room Early.

"Why not have lunch?" ask Adit while putting one lunch box on the table Early.

"No papa," replied Dini uninspired.

"Is there something wrong?"

Dini shook her head by opening the food box in front of her.

"The same fight as Dimas?"

"No idea, brother."

"Do you not know?"

"Complicated," replied Early in brief.

"If you want, you can tell the same sister!"

"Thank you brother," retorted Early who still looked glum.

"Going to work with my sister to pick up my mom at the hospital!"

Dini nodded with a smile on her lips. Adit left the room and returned to his room.

While Dini was in the photo copy room, she met Sela.

"Hi Din, the more friendly the day!"

"You mean?"

"You're the same Mr. Adit, everyone here knows what your relationship is."

Inside Adit's room, Dini and Sela stood in front of Adit's desk.

"Tell me what really happened!" Adit pinta.

"This is my slap sir, so I grabbed her hair" said Sela.

"True sir," replied Dini without explaining anything because he himself was confused as to what to explain.

"You're not gonna slap him for no reason, are you Din?"

Early on silent, he couldn't possibly explain to Adit the reason for slapping Sela because it was related to Adit who was a highly valued CEO at the company.

"Here, answer my question!" snapped Adit on Early.

"Sorry sir," replied Early by lowering his head.

"Excuse me sir, this is a recording of the incident in the copy photo room earlier," said Jaka while handing over a mobile phone to Adit.

Adit then looked at the recording which was only a few seconds long.

"I don't need this footage of Jaka, there is CCTV in every room in this company" Adit said, returning the phone to Jaka.

"Sorry sir, I'm sorry" Jaka replied and walked out of Adit's room.

"Back in your room Sela, I will make sure that the real events happen again, I make sure that you two will get sanctions from your actions!" adit.

"Okay sir, I'm sorry" said Sela then out of Adit's room.

Adit then gave Dini the topical medicine and told him to come out.

"Thank you sir, excuse me" Dini said and walked out of Adit's room.

Adit then contacted someone and asked him to provide CCTV footage in the photo copy room.

Shortly thereafter Adit received the requested recording. It seems Early who first attacked Sela, but before that Dini seemed emotional with Sela's speech, making Adit more curious to know what really happened.

The clock has shown at 4 pm, Adit immediately left his room and entered the room Early.

"Why hasn't the wound been treated?" ask Adit.

"It's just a small wound," Dini replied as she packed up her things.

The sky was already dark, neatly dressed Andi came to Dini's house.

"She's in the room, come in!" say Mother Early to Andi.

Andipun walked into the room Early after knocking on the door of his room several times.

"Where are you neat, where are you going?" ask Dini.

"I want to take you to a mallem, the game is ready!"

"Why all of a sudden, I have to pick a shirt!"

While hugging Andi, her heart felt so calm. He wanted to linger long hugging the man who was the same age as his son.

"Ma!" call Adit to make the mother release Andi from her embrace.

Somehow his eyes glazed glass when hugging Andi, as well as Andi who felt a strange feeling in him when hugged by Mama Adit.

They started eating dinner together quietly. After finishing dinner, Adit and Dini sat in the front yard, while the mother was still chatting with Andi at the dining table.

Mama Adit was silent, her eyes staring at the painting in front of her with glassy eyes. Her soft finger seemed to be caressing the baby in the painting.

"Sorry aunt, Andi does not mean to make a sad aunt," said Andi who realized his mistake.

"Tante can hug you Andi? don't know why your aunt feels so calm when she hugs you."

Andi nodded then brought herself closer to the woman before him. Mama Adit hugged Andi tightly, there was a pounding of happiness that he felt, happiness that he longed to shed with tears that slowly dripped.

Still hugging Mama Adit, Andi noticed with the details of the baby painting in front of him.

"what is a birthmark? or just a color gradation?" andi asked a question.

In that embrace, Andi felt a calmness and warmth that he had never felt in his life.

"Ma, where's mama?"

Adit's shout resuscitated the mother who immediately released her embrace to Andi.

Dini and Andipun returned home with Adit. Arriving at the front of the house Early, Adit came out and opened the door for Dini.

Just then someone took a photo of Adit and Dini was silent.

"I'm coming home Din, excuse me Mr. Adit," Andi said.

"Ndi's heart," replied Early.

Andi then walked back to his house.

"Andi!"

"Anita, what are you doing here?"

"Wait for you, your mother says you're out so I'll just wait here!"

"Let's get in the house!"

Anita nodded and followed Andi into her house.

On the other hand, Adit immediately went home after saying goodbye to Early mother.

Adit returned to the mother's house because her mother had just asked her to come back.
