Chapter 7 Last Quest Tutorial

Mike and Eri sat on a piece of wood while eating a large lump of meat with a campfire. Mike was the one who seemed to enjoy the food the most. He greedily chewed on the monster meat in his hands. Though at first he was very reluctant to eat meat that he thought was disgusting.

"Did you like Eri's cooking?" Eri looked at Mike with sparkling eyes. Mike nodded enthusiastically. Just this time he tasted really good cooking. All this time he had only eaten instant food that he had bought at the roadside shop.

"Eri is good at cooking, yes!" Mike tried to praise her with a mouth full of meat. His stomach was already almost full, but Mike could not stop eating the food that was in front of him at this moment.

"Papa, just slowly eat it. There is still a lot of meat left. Eri won't take papa's ration, so take it easy."

Mike choked after hearing Eri's words. The food was so good that it made him forget himself. He should have acted like a papa. But now he looked so greedy that even the little boy succumbed to him.

The first quest could be said to still make sense, but when it came to the second quest the difficulty level was very much different. He was worried that the third quest would become a very crazy quest.

"System, can't I know what kind of quest to give first?"

"Fucking admin!" Mike flicked his fist towards the hologram, but his fist pierced through and hit the empty air. Eri was stunned to see Mike's wrinkled facial expression.

"Papa, what's wrong?" Eri puts down the meat she is holding, moving closer to Mike. Eri doesn't like to see Mike that way. He would rather see his smiling father.

When I saw Eri, Mike thought of something. Perhaps Eri also had information regarding the quest. He could ask Eri to make sure of that.

"Did Eri know about the quest?" Mike hesitates to ask. After all Eri was a character created by the system. It could have been programmed to disappear while leaking information that was supposed to be secret.

Eri seemed to think for a moment. It was as if he was remembering something.

"There's a lot of information about the quest. But the doctor said I can't tell anyone." Eri's face shriveled because he couldn't help Mike get better.

Mike shook his head at Eri, gently rubbing the girl's cheeks. He expected this to happen. Mike couldn't force Eri to say it either.

"I think giving up on quests is the best option." Mike breathed heavily. It was a pity that he had to give up his hidden reward, but his life was far more important. It's free if he gets the hidden reward but he can't enjoy it because it's dead.

"If it's directly related to Eri, I don't think the last quest will be dangerous." Mike thought for a moment. He should not be rash in making decisions. After a few minutes of thinking, Mike finally chose to accept the quest.

"Three hidden rewards? Am I dreaming?" Mike slowly put a smile on his face. He never thought that his quest was easier than he had anticipated. Plus he earned three hidden rewards.

"remarkable. It should have been like this from the beginning. Don't give me a quest that doesn't make sense like a second quest." Mike turned to look at Eri after he closed the system window. Mike couldn't stop pulling her to the end of his lips.

"Eri, someone wants you to ask." Mike holds Eri, making their faces meet each other.

"Absolutely to Eri? Just ask, Eri will answer if Eri can help." Eri smiled with her cute face. He landed a kiss on Mike's cheek.

"Did Eri know how to activate the skill?"

"Skills? Eemm, Eri just heard the word skill. The doctor didn't tell Eri about it either. What is that skill?" Eri held onto his shriveled forehead. Although Mike was a little disappointed because the quest could not be completed quickly, but Mike felt quite happy to see Eri.

"Skill was like a special ability that Eri could possess. Less is more like that." Mike explained with a smiling face. She tried her best not to show her disheveled face in front of Eri. Mike still remembers that the development and growth of Eri affect the skills that Eri can get.

Mike is worried that if Eri grows up in a place filled with violence, then his psychological development will experience a little 'sick' so that makes Eri grow up unlike most children. The skill he had was also likely a dark skill that would certainly not be good for him.
