Chapter 22 Meet Big Mama

Mike was sent back without a word. At least Mike wanted to say thank you, but he didn't get to do that.

After he got to his original place, he found a party member who had grown by one person. His face looked very confused, as well as the other members. They have a lot of questions and a lot of things to show Mike. But they had not had time to say hello, Mike had shed tears to make them undo the intention to approach him.

"Balth, welcome back." Mike tried to hold back so that not many tears came out. Balth was still unmoved in place, staring at his surroundings with a puzzled face.

"I'll introduce this person who appears all of a sudden. She's Joanna Balth, my friend and our new member." Mike pointed both his hands at Balth, making all pairs of eyes turn towards him.

Balth is getting confused. It was only a while ago that he was still floating in the dark room and now he was already in a place that was very familiar to him. The last memory of this place was the worst of bad memories.

"Did I just have a bad dream?" Balth looked at Mike who was not far from him. Many things happen that feel too real for a dream. Balth doesn't know which ones are dreams and which ones are real because everything is like he's actually experiencing himself.

Three days just passed. They spend time overcoming dimension break and sharing past stories. They moved around to spend the night because of dimension break. For a moment they forget that they're going to meet Mike's past. Until the appointed day has arrived. The three people had been waiting at the promised spot for more than two hours.

"Where did they go? Don't tell me Mike ran off with his guys. I should have known cowards would still be cowards. Let's go find them!" Bobby led the way to several places.

For the past three days he has never once helped deal with dimension break. He felt that the monsters that appeared were too weak to be dealt with by himself who was already at level eight.

Mike and his members happen to be patrolling the city and accidentally meet Bobby. A coincidence that feels uncomfortable.

"Forget over! Follow me and don't ask too many questions. Mama has taken care of what is needed for your departure to the neighboring country. No need to prepare anymore." Bobby turns around, walking to lead Mike and his men to the transport they're going to use.

Mike gestured for his members to walk in following and all nodded in agreement. They are guided on aircraft smaller than the usual size of the aircraft. Bobby lets Mike and his members in first to make sure no one gets left behind. After Bobby and the two men behind him sat in their seats, the engine of the plane lit up.

The plane they are riding does not need a pilot because it has been designed as air transportation that can take passengers to the destination.

During the trip there were too many things Mike thought about. She was they-destimates the worst possible thing that would happen when she met Big Mama. As he remembered, Big Mama was a cruel woman who disguised herself as a savior. He saved all the homeless children and parents with a sweet smile and a warm hug, but everything changed when he arrived at his residence. A few hours passed with silence on the plane. None of them dared to open the conversation, especially when they saw Mike with his disheveled face. Balth understands that everyone has their own world that no one else wants to disturb.

"A little while we'll be there. Don't put on a disgusting face like that or Mama will hit you before you can change the look on your face." Bobby rolled his eyeballs. He was annoyed with Mike who had looked agitated.

The plane managed to land smoothly right in the courtyard of a huge mansion that was almost like a palace. The outside of the house and its courtyard showed a cheerful atmosphere. Seeing that made Mike feel annoyed to clench both hands. It turned out that he was still not completely separated from the past. He was not ready to enter the house.

The memories of the past swirled in his head like fragments of video. Remembering that made Mike feel a reawakening of the fear he had been craving for several years. Mike tries to calm down and change his perspective instantly, namely by thinking of the woman he will meet later as a monster that he has been facing all along.

There was an alarm sound when the plane came to a perfect stop. Not long after, there was a beautiful woman who came out from the front door with a cigarette in her right hand. Behind the woman stood many children of Gried's age.

Mike and his men go down after Bobby. Mike's gaze was immediately fixed on the woman who was already standing in front of him with a distinctive smile of hers.

"During no meeting, Charles. Does my face remind you of anything? Lookatme! Stay young and not age. Stay pretty like that time, right?" The woman smiled as she looked down at Mike.

"We meet again, Mama." Mike snarled, his hands clenched very tightly. She wanted to make a mess, but she had to endure it for the sake of the children who were behind the woman.
