The Doomsday System

The Doomsday System
Chapter 13 First Member

Mike takes Martha to the ruins of a building that has not been repaired. Martha was confused to be taken to a place like this. There aren't many people around here. Probably because of the many buildings, so many people feel insecure. It could be that the debris of the building that accumulates suddenly falls.

"When you say you don't have to keep it a secret, you take me to a lonely place." Martha circulated her gaze, paying attention to the conditions around.

"There's a reason why I chose this place and it's not because I want to keep the information I'm going to give you a secret." Mike stared at the system notification screen. He was looking at the countdown before the dimension break.

"Not to waste any more time. I'll explain starting from the system. So the system is the system. I'm sure you understand what I mean. As for who created the system that made us players, I myself want to know that. Unfortunately, until now I have not found anything. The system calls him an administrator, so do we as players. What was the player created for?" Mike was silent for a moment, looking at Martha seriously.

"To perfect the game?" Martha tilted her head, hesitating to answer.

"That's one of them. But our role here is to defeat the monsters that appeared due to the dimension break."

"Dimension break? What does that mean?" Martha looked at Mike question mark. His brain was trying to digest it, but it couldn't.

"Ah, just in time! This is what I mean by dimension break. Because it's gonna be hard to explain, so I'm showing it to you." Mike pointed at the empty air behind Martha. The girl flipped over, hiding behind Mike's back.

He looked at the crack that was emitting light in the air. He was stunned for a moment, before monsters emerged from the crack.

"It was a goblin. You must often see it in comics or fairy tales. Is there a goblin story? Whatever! It's a goblin." Mike pointed at the fat green-bodied monster coming out of the dimension break. Martha gulped. The monster looked very scary to him.

"Watch it well."

[SYSTEM]

SKILL DEVIL INTIMIDATION USED.

THE MONSTER COULD NOT MOVE BECAUSE IT FELT FEAR FOR THE PLAYER.

ABSOLUTE KING OF MONSTERS SKILL WAS USED.

THE MONSTERS WERE SUCCESSFULLY ADDED TO THE ARMY.

Martha gaped at seeing what was happening in front of her at this moment. A few seconds ago the monsters looked wild and seemed to want to prey on him, but right now they were like obedient cute creatures. Their sinister faces instantly changed in just a few blinks of an eye.

"look, right? As long as you're not far from me, you'll be safe." Mike turned his head, looking at Martha's face stuck to his back. Martha nodded enthusiastically. She felt grateful for meeting such a strong person.

"Let's make a deal! Join me! As long as you swear you won't betray me, then I swear I'll take care of you." Mike ruffled Martha's hair. Without him noticing, he accidentally made Martha blush.

"How can you be this strong when the game has just begun?" Martha lowered her head. Now he dared not look Mike in the face after seeing what had happened.

"On that? Of course because I became a player long before other players were chosen by the system. That's why I know more than anyone else." Mike took a slow breath. She smiled as she looked at Martha who was trying to hide her face. This should be the attitude of a girl, not even being disrespectful like that. Mike immediately realizes the emotional change that happened to Martha.

Martha was shocked when she heard Mike's words. She was shocked by the fear, but the fear was filled with the belief that Mike was a trustworthy person.

"All right, let me join you. But, can you lower your vigilance then? It feels scary." Martha sighed softly. The person with him right now was extremely frightening. Not only because he had strength, but his attitude also greatly influenced.

"Good, welcome! Honestly, I feel happy that you are willing to join me. But we still need two more people." Mike glanced at the five goblins who had been silent earlier.

"I think the system will take care of them like the time he takes care of Zeru. Apparently not, huh? How do I send them?"

[SYSTEM]

DO YOU WANT TO SEND MONSTERS THAT ARE USED AS TROOPS AUTOMATICALLY?

[YES] [NO]

Mike pressed the yes column on the screen. It would make it easier for him because he did not know how to send them. He only knows how to call the troops.

The goblin standing near Mike slowly disappeared, moving to the dimension the system had already provided. Martha was again startled by the events she saw. If he had seen the tamed monster, now it had disappeared.

"Can't they be bodyguards or something? Why did they instantly disappear after being tamed?" Martha turned to look at Mike with a serious mimic. Though he thought the skill possessed by the person in front of him was extraordinary. But it felt useless if the tamed monster just disappeared.

"Since we've become a team, I'll show you. But don't yell, don't ask too many questions, just shut up and look." Mike raised his right hand to the side, closing his eyes.

"Shadow gate."

A gate was formed at Mike's fingertips. His eyes were shining even as the sun was still revealing itself. From the gate came six goblins of different sizes. Five of the goblins were goblins seen by Martha.

"Even until there's a level five goblin." Martha turned her head while keeping her mouth shut, feeling disbelief at what she was seeing at the moment.

"It would be very troublesome if they kept following me, right? The troops I have will be more and more as long as I can overcome them alive. This skill could not be used on a dead monster." Mike folded his hands across his chest, staring contentedly at his current squad. Although it was still a little, but at least he had managed to become stronger. Even now he felt he could overcome a level eight monster without the help of anyone else.

"I hope my choice of joining you wasn't a mistake."

"What do you mean by mistake, huh?! Do you think having an army of monsters is a sin?" Mike glanced at Martha who had not yet removed his gaze from Zeru.

"Eitherway. But I don't think it's a problem."
