Chapter 41 The Improvement Experiment, Successfully!

"Isn't this so amazing?" Miss Elyana stared in amazement at the holographic screen in front of her. He could see a row of writings with figures accompanying him.

"I can increase his physical strength to above ten thousand? This kid is crazy." Miss Elyana turned her gaze on the capsule with Mike's face plastered from behind the transparent glass.

"It looks like I'm going to create a human-like monster. I don't know if his body will survive if I maximize physical strength to the limit, but let's try slowly. I don't have to be too hasty." Miss Elyana could not help the smile that formed from each end of her lips.

He was shocked by all the stats Mike had. Even among its people, no one can reach that high. Although all these stat were obtained from experiments, but still the maximum limit of stat that was twice that of monsters was something extraordinary.

"Well, a fucking asshole like them wouldn't pick Mike as the main character for no particular reason." The woman continued to watch the screen in front of her in astonishment. He wants to improve Mike as soon as possible, but something like this can't be done at one time.

"Well, here I'll start!" Miss Elyana again moved her finger down the flat hologram button that was fused with the white table. Rows of numbers are again visible, changing one time.

About two hours had passed since Miss Elyana was struggling with the technologically advanced machine before her and the improvement experiment went perfectly. During those two hours he had indeed encountered some problems, but he was instantly able to solve them.

"This is not all. I'll make another upgrade after his body has gotten used to the stat being forcibly added." The woman folded her arms around her chest, smiling proudly as she managed to raise Mike.

He switched on to the next capsule with the sleeping Gried floating inside. This time his smile was not as wide as when he saw Mike's maximal stat, but his expression still showed a clear sense of satisfaction.

"Indeed not as crazy as Mike, but for a child his age. How can two monsters be in the same group?" Miss Elyana covered her mouth with one of her palms, then re-engaged with the advanced technology to improve the Gried.

Just like the experiments conducted on Mike, Miss Elyana also made the process of increasing Gried into two experiments. So that the failure of the increase will be very small.

The same continues to happen to other academy participants. After the upgrade process on Gried was completed, Stade became the next and was followed by the other two remaining participants.

After performing the upgrade, their bodies were left unconscious just like that inside the capsule. Miss Elyana had to leave them for three days before removing their bodies from the capsule or conducting any follow-up experiments.

During those three days, Miss Elyana came to teach night classes as usual. Nothing unusual happened until three days passed. When Miss Elyana took out three bodies other than Mike and Gried, she could feel the changes that had occurred even though they were just standing still.

"Is this me? I don't know why I feel like my body is getting lighter." Stade watched every inch of his body. He could feel the change in himself.

"Since the three of you have already escaped, you should have been able to go straight to night classes and then be sent back to your hometown. But you can also wait for Mike and Gried to finish the follow-up experiment. It's all up to you."

"I'll wait! I want to see what they look like after undergoing two upgrade processes." Stade said with complete confidence. He won't be able to see how much stronger Mike will be if he's sent back to Earth before Mike's turn.

"Alright, alright! For now just rest in their respective rooms. Recover your energy and train your body first before your first night class after the experiment begins." Miss Elyana waved, gesturing for them to return to their respective rooms.

"Sleep until you wake up, Mike. After you return to Earth, I'll figure out a way to communicate with the other constellations." Miss Elyana again painted a smile on her face. His palm could feel the chill creeping as it touched the giant capsule.

Four days passed, none of the participants knew that Stade and the other two participants had finished the advanced stage. Stade really just kept quiet while waiting for Mike and Gried to finish with the follow-up experiment.

While Miss Elyana gasped in a gasp at her remaining capsule. Now it was time to wake up his masterpiece. Although most of these experiments were successful due to the advanced tools provided by the constellation, he still felt proud of having managed to do it himself.

"Welcome back." Miss Elyana pressed the red button next to the capsule, making the door both open almost at the same time.

One minute. Two minutes. Five minutes. Ten minutes. Mike and Gried were still lying in silence. Miss Elyana continued to monitor the large screen beside her, watching their increasingly weakened heartbeats.

"Wait, did I fail?" Miss Elyana's eyes widened like a dead fish. He was very worried, afraid that the two would not open their eyes.

"No, no! It can't be like this! If you both die, no one will survive!" Miss Elyana is back fiddling with the button in front of the screen. Not long after, Mike coughed softly. He felt his chest hurt a lot when he was breathing. His head also felt like it was about to explode.

He forced himself to take a sitting position as his hands continued to hold his head and chest which were the source of the pain.

"Mike!" A familiar voice called out his name. Mike painstakingly tried to turn his head to the origin of the sound. His eyes faintly caught a woman with curly black hair walking towards him. Although not clear, but Mike immediately found out that the woman was Miss Elyana.

Mike snorted softly seeing himself still alive. Not that he expected to die, but during the follow-up experiment Mike felt his entire body crumble until he thought he might die because his body was not strong enough to accept the follow-up experiment.

"How strong am I right now?" Mike immediately asked without much other conversation that he thought was unnecessary. Miss Elyana was taken aback by that, but she immediately realized that the man in front of her had not changed at all except for the power she possessed.

"If looking from the system screen, the overall level increases to level forty. But as you know, your entire current stat and level is already at the maximum. So, the more you level up, then you will also still be the more ku—"

"Not a lot of nonsense! Quickly tell me how strong I am now?"

"Well, you're becoming more arrogant. All right, you can't try it right away because there's a constellation watching. But you can try the power to the limit of the level that will appear on the system screen later. From there you will definitely know the difference in strength even if you don't do it at full strength."

"good. What about Gried?" Mike looked at the capsule next to him. There lay a boy who was none other than Gried. Mike is worried and anxious because Gried is not awake.
