Chapter 9 Rounding the Determination
"I gave you two choices. Die tormented by me or kill yourself." Eri raised his killing gaze. Zeru shrieked as he felt an extremely violent pressure. When he realizes that he cannot survive, Zeru decides to kill himself by slashing his neck using the sword that Mike dropped.
Green blood gushed out in all directions. Mike and Eri's clothes that were originally tangled dry are now getting wet by him. At this moment Mike felt that the little girl in front of him was not the Eri he knew. The girl had a thick killing intent.
Not long after Zeru's body was sprawled on the ground, Eri walked up to his corpse. He slowly touched Zeru's body while saying something. Mike had no idea what Eri was saying. He just looked like a person who was muttering without guessing.
Eri turned right, walked up to Mike after finishing his business with Zeru's body. His heart ached when he saw Mike with his condition. He felt that this was happening because of him.
Eri looked at Mike with concern. But somehow he seemed to smile. Eri touched Mike's back and instantly a huge energy gushed out from his palm.

Mike looked at the system notification screen in front of him. Though he just wanted to think of how to activate the Eri skill, but it seems that now Mike does not have to bother doing that.

Mike was stunned by the second hidden reward he got. Though Mike just felt he found something that could be the reason for Mike to survive other than avenge Balth. But why was it taken directly from him.
"Da-sar sia-lan system!" Mike cursed the system with his weak voice. He still stuttered while talking.
"Papa, even if only for a moment I've been happy. Actually I'm afraid I'm gonna have to go back to that place. I'd rather be with papa. But I don't think I can, do I?" Slowly Eri's body began to disappear into small pieces of paper that flew high.
"No, wait! Cancel reward! QUICKLY CANCEL SISTEEEM'S REWARD!" Mike tried to turn the body. He tried with all his might to grab Eri's body which was disappearing.
"Goodbye, papa. The doctor said papa is the one who can go ahead with the pain. Forgive me for not being able to help much. At least let the part of Eri be fused with papa. Thank you for yesterday and today." Eri smiled at his last moments. He felt both happiness and fear at the same time.
Mike has been fully healed thanks to Eri. But he lost the little girl. Though the quest told him to save her, but now he just disappeared. If only he knew one of the rewards required Eri's sacrifice, then he wouldn't have accepted this quest in the first place.
"Actually what you've been up to, you son of a bitch! Could it be that I should thank you for adding up my reasons for killing you?" Mike's face was red with anger. Unfortunately, he did not know to whom he should vent his anger at this moment.

Mike stared blankly at the hologram screen floating before him. His jaw hardened as he held the overflowing anger. He was already determined to be the strongest, but now it felt like being the strongest alone would not be enough.
"I should be able to become the admin of this absurd gaming system. Now I don't know how, but I will find it. I'm gonna be an admin and make a game more ruthless than this. I'll make you guys who create chaos feel what kind of chaos you're making." Mike clenched both his hands. The veins on the arms look very clear.
"I've decided. You are using me for entertainment and I will use you to gain enough strength until the day you fall asleep comes. Remember it's fine."
Unlike the previous one, this time Mike's gaze did not show any emotion. He looks flat and cold. Beat the cold of the night wind after this disaster happened.
After earning many unexpected rewards, he decided to become a solo player. Having a lot of friends is beneficial, but he does not need that because now he has the skills that support him to have his own army.
Now is the time to start small steps for your big goals. He shouldn't be rash, but he should be quick. Faster than scenarios conceived by the unknown.
Mike looked at the sky that was beginning to rumble. He knew what this phenomenon meant. The main quest will begin soon. A few hours from now there will be some people who are chosen to become players like him. He did not plan to make the player a friend or an opponent, but he would finish off everything that stood in his way.
Mike also decided to dispose of any emotions that constrained him. To her current self, emotions other than revenge were simply things she did not need to achieve her goal. From this moment on, the priority is to be first.
"Please wait for the day when we will switch positions. Don't blame me, because I won't give you a pause to breathe." Mike Empsed his back on the ground. A few seconds later, a drop of water fell right on Mike's cheek followed by another drop of water.
The rain was pouring down heavily, soaking all over Mike's body and clothes in just a matter of blinking eyes. Even today Mike feels the sky crying with him. It was as if he willingly wanted to share his suffering together with her.
