The Doomsday System

The Doomsday System
Chapter 36 The Identity of Miss Elyana

The third duel begins, namely the duel of the Gried group against another group that looks quite strong. Initially Gried wanted to use the death knight troops to look cool, but after seeing how Mike still looks awesome even though just standing still makes Gried want to try it.

Priiiit!!!

A whistle blown sign of the start of the group duel. Gried let his group members advance to attack, whereas he remained unmoved in his place as he was the type of long-range attacker. Gried took out his magic wand, preparing with the horses to launch a magic attack.

When the opposing members shot forward, the Gried group was immediately repulsed. Gried can not be lost in carrying out attacks because it could have an impact on his group.

Gried got the idea to attack them from behind. He launched a fireball attack that shot past the player who was fighting, landing the fireball in the back row of the opposing group. Those who were affected by the attack fell. The Gried members seized the opportunity to retreat, making room for the Gried to land the attack.

Without waiting for the opponent to get up again, Gried had already prepared with the skill explosion and was targeting the crowd of players lying on the floor. Gried tried not to hurt other players too badly as this was just a practice.

Beyond the estimate, the opponent is not easily defeated. They can still stand even though they have received consecutive attacks.

"I shouldn't have to hold back, yeah!" Gried smiled as he felt challenged. He was a little grateful that his opponent was not a bunch of people who would take defeat for granted.

Their fight was fiercer than Mike's. On the field, Gried also helps his group fight by providing long-range attacks, unlike Mike who just keeps quiet and lets his group lose. The match ended without anyone realizing that an hour had passed and was won by the Gried group. Although they had many serious injuries, but no one had suffered fatal injuries.

"Congratulations on his victory." Mike gives a tos to Gried who is already off the field. The end of the Gried match was also the end of the group duel training.

"I've made several assessments of your abilities and there are five people selected to enter the advanced stage." Dom gave an announcement after all the attention of the player was on him.

"Enter an advanced stage?"

"Those who enter the advanced stage will get special training to increase the level and perfect all the existing abilities. Participants will be selected every week, so train harder for those of you who are not selected." Dom ends his class with a wave of his hand. They were curious about the five chosen ones.

Doubts began to appear in the minds of players who were in the academy. There is nothing special about this academy. The exercises also felt normal, except for the evening classes.

"What do they mean by advanced stage?"

"Maybe it's like extra training until it feels like dying?"

"Why do I think that they will be used as experimental objects."

Whispers by whispers began to be heard from a group of players who were made confused. Too many strange things are happening and it all makes them feel like they are in a different world.

Seeing the commotion that occurred made Mike want to immediately meet Miss Elyana. There were already some questions he would ask the woman. And now the number of questions has increased by one.

"Those who pass in the advanced stage will return to their original place."

"You will be sent to new territories and be a part of them." Dom fleetingly shows a sly smile and Mike manages to catch it.

"Alright, rehearsal until here. Please return to your rooms to wait for the next class." Dom waved his hand. His back moved away from the crowd of players, walking towards the exit.

"No notification of the five selected players?" Gried looked at the exit where Dom had passed by earlier with a face full of question marks. Though he had been waiting about anyone who was chosen to enter the advanced stage.

"Here we go, we go to the cafeteria. Restore the mood with a good food menu." Mike smiles, embraces Gried's neck and forces her to follow Mike's quick footsteps.

After the door opened, Mike found Miss Elyana who was already standing in front of the door by folding her hands to her chest.

"As promised, I'll make time for you, and that's now. Just the two of you!" Miss Elyana puts emphasis on the end of the sentence, making Gried realize that she can't tail. The woman gestured for Mike to follow her. Mike could sense that Gried objected to that.

"Eat first. I'll catch up later. I'm trying not to take long." Mike ruffled Gried's hair, leaving the boy with a smile.

"So where are you taking me?" Mike asked in a sharp tone without staring at the back of the woman in front of him.

"Where am I taking you? Of course to my room. I've never felt comfortable in a room other than there." Miss Elyana continued to spur her pace faster, making Mike follow her was also forced to accelerate the tempo of her footsteps.

A few minutes later they arrived at a large room with a door made of stone. The room was on the second floor, making Mike the first academy participant to successfully climb the floor.

The door opened when Miss Elyana placed her palm on the stone surface. The stone door more than three meters high was opened by splitting right in the middle, exposing the room with a dark error inside.

Miss Elyana walked in followed by Mike trailing behind her. The door closes automatically when they are inside. This room is very thick with the impression of horror seeing there are many statues of human skulls and skeletons. Not only that, this place also has a variety of bone skeletons that Mike himself does not know what kind of creature's skeleton is being plastered. Mike could not confirm whether the statue was actually a statue or just the original bones were preserved.

"So, what do you want to ask?" Miss Elyana turned around, looking at Mike who was on his back a few seconds ago.

"Not much, but I don't want anything to hide." Mike returned Miss Elyana's gaze coldly. He did not want the question there was thrown in vain aka not getting an answer.

"All right, I'll work on it."

"What do you mean you're going to work on?"

"There is some information that should not be known. But I gladly divulged some, though not all of them. Just need you to know, I'm not doing this to help you humans. I just don't like those who act like they're gods."

"The humans? So, you're not human?"

"I am the administrator."
