The Doomsday System

The Doomsday System
Chapter 39 Advanced Stage Participants

All attention was immediately fixated on the announcement delivered by Miss Elyana. No one knew what the fate of the participants entering the advanced stage would be like. They may suffer or they may become stronger. The participants in the room held their breath. They are willing to leave if they have to be elected or not.

"I'll mention your names one by one. The name that has been called must come forward and stand on equal footing with me!" Miss Elyana's gaze began to sharpen, circulating it at each participant.

"First participant, Brogan Stade. The participant with the second highest ranking in the academy."

After being quiet for a few seconds, the sound of applause finally floated on the ceiling of the room. The participant with the same name stepped foot towards where Miss Elyana was.

Everyone thought that the highest ranking participant was Mike. Given the power he had, it was no wonder that other players thought so.

"The second participant, Khuzestan Griedef. The participant with the highest first rank in the academy."

This time the silence lasted longer. All the faces were showing the same confusion. If Gried is the highest ranked participant, then how many rankings does Mike have? That's what the mimic on their faces says.

Gried was also surprised by that. He had the same thoughts as the other players. Mike is the same. He thought that he would be at the top. Without buying any more time, Gried immediately stood up from his seat and walked towards the place he had been told to.

Miss Elyana mentions two more participants with rank C and rank D. There is only one other participant who has not been named. Mike could only sit quietly. He already knew that he was chosen to enter the advanced stage, but still he was worried that he would not hear his name from the woman's mouth.

"Last member, Charles Mike. Participants with unconfirmed rankings." Miss Elyana averted her eyes, looking at Mike who was in the front seat.

Everyone in the room was shocked, and so was Mike. An unconfirmed ranking, even though it has become an official participant. Only one reason came to their minds, which was about Mike being too strong to rank highest in the academy.

Hearing that, Mike immediately walked towards the side of the Gried. They were like brothers who could not be separated.

"You will be guided to a special room and evening class training must be done by the five of you. I don't know what monsters will appear, so I can't guarantee your lives."

"Don't that mean we could die?" Stade stared blankly at the teaching lady beside him. Miss Elyana smiled faintly at the question that Stade was asking.

"True, you could have died. Therefore you are given a choice by the academy."

The whole pair of eyes turned wide. Even so, no one expected that the choice that the academy would provide could benefit them. Given that they could have died when entering the advanced stage, the choice given would also not be far from it.

"First, of course entering the advanced stage. Second, be the object or material of the research conducted by the academy." Miss Elyana's voice sounded slightly resounding.

If it's to be honest, Miss Elyana doesn't want any innocent people to have to meet a choice that gives them a dead end. But he had no other choice, as did the humans in this place.

"I suspected! We're really looked at like shit!" One of the players raised his voice indeed so that the woman in front could hear him.

"Hey, Hey! Wait up! Wasn't the purpose of the academy being held so that players would become strong? Then what the fuck is this?" Other voices began to fall as well.

"Stay to the end and become much stronger. Those who can not survive, it means it is not appropriate to remain a player. You know what I mean, right?" Miss Elyana flipped over, preparing to leave the classroom.

"If it's like that, I'm out and I don't want to get stronger or anything! Hurry and send me back!"

"Really! Which crazy person would want to do something out of common sense like that?"

"Me too! Send me back!"

Slowly began to grow a sense of rebellion. Miss Elyana was already interrupting this would happen, so she quickly disconnected the connecting signal between the system and the player. It works so that the constellations cannot hear or see what they are doing.

Mike who noticed it immediately nodded at Miss Elyana. The two of them had already planned this during the private meeting earlier.

"Shut up, just trust us!" Mike telepathically sends each player. The telepathy gives fragments of the plan to be carried out. Mike can only use telepathy once. The technique was given by Miss Elyana in order to facilitate the explanation of the rebellious player.

"Crazy! Are we really going to do this?" Stade gawks after learning of the crazy plan that Mike and Miss Elyana made. The plan was crazy, but the percentage of success was ninety percent. Although outwitting the constellations by shutting down the system has its own risks, but at least they are starting to have a glimmer of hope.

"Have finished? I'll re-connect the signal." Miss Elyana who had been glaring and disconnected the system signal was finally able to blink back her eyelids.

All players try their luck by following Mike's plan. That way Mike and Miss Elyana can move behind the scenes while the constellations are cool to see players 'playing' with monsters.

Pluph!

A sound like a balloon popping out sounded. Along with that, they immediately carried out the plan.

"You want to go back? Unfortunately the academy didn't give you such a choice If you still insist on being sent home, then I will gladly do that for you." Miss Elyana wears a sly smile on her fruition. His acting is incredible.

"really? Nice one!" One of the players who sat on the front seat clenched their hands because they were happy. But not long after that, he saw everything like flying and found his body sitting headless. Miss Elyana cut off the neck as an example for other players.

"Do you still want to be sent home? I'll send you home to the one who created you." Miss Elyana flashed such a domineering gaze.

"Damn!" The other players groaned slowly. The look on his face clearly showed despair.

"I don't think anyone's been acting. All right, you guys should follow me to the advanced room."
