"Rice...."
"Land..?!"
Balth and Geoff sat with each other, then turned to look at Martha who was launching an attack. The girl swung the sword very cunningly, splitting one of the heads of the Amphisbaena monster up to half her body.
"Whoops..." Martha wiped the face filled with sweat mixed with dust and monster blood. He heaved a sigh of relief seeing the other head fall helplessly sprawled.
"This monster is like a mole rat that has a larger size than a rat in general." Martha turned to look at Balth and Geoff who were a little away from her. The two men were silent for a moment, then nodded in understanding.
After the fight ended, they directly split the monster meat into several hundred pieces. They burn meat on fire to make it more delicious to eat. Now they just sprinkle salt as a flavor. Mike's absence has had a devastating impact on all aspects of their lives in the chaotic world they are today.
"I'm sick of saying this, but I miss him." Martha's gaze looked distant. His body was in place, but he had no idea where his mind went.

Turning back to a bright room full of sophisticated tools, Mike remained in position like last time. Though a long time had passed for the party members on earth, but Mike had only passed a few tens of minutes in this place.
"What does that mean?" Mike frowned at the sentence of the woman in front of him. Miss Elyana stated that the existence of the academy was not to make players stronger, but her other statement explained that the ability of the academy participants had developed. Those two things are in conflict with each other.
"None of the players knew about the difference between time in the academy and on earth." Miss Elyana breathed a heavy sigh. He did not want to tell Mike this beforehand, worried that the man in front of him would be too rash to return.
"Time differences are common, right? Even one country has a different time in each particular region." Mike shook his head. He felt it was only natural that there was a difference in time for several hours between being in the academy and time on earth.
"Is that one-to-five time difference still reasonable for you?" Miss Elyana averted her eyes, staring firmly at Mike's face.
"What?! So you mean one day in the academy equals five days on earth?!" Mike's eyes widened. The look on his face clearly depicted an un-made shock.
"Well, the time difference is more or less like that." Miss Elyana nodded her head while shrugging both of her shoulders.
No one knew for sure the difference in time between the academy and the earth. Miss Elyana only estimated with the closest comparison.
"So how many days has time passed on earth?" Mike asked to be sure. He should know how long it had been passed by his three party members who were on earth.
"About two months. Just information, now the earth is not a place you know." Miss Elyana tried to smile even though she looked wry.
"Why do I have such a bad feeling about it." Mike took a deep breath. The earth that has not become the earth again sounds like a double meaning. It could mean that the earth is getting better, but judging from the current state, then it feels impossible. The only remaining possibility was one, the earth being a worse place than he knew last time.
"Sister.....Cha....?" Gried's hoarse voice stammered Mike. He is still not fully aware. Everything that was captured by every sense he had was not perfect and still vague.
"Gried, are you conscious?!" Mike who was not far from there immediately held Gried's hand without realizing it. It was clearly a look of worry on the man's face.
"Ka. kak, I had a bad dream." Gried gasped at the end of his sentence. His face looked deathly pale with cold sweat drenching all over his body.
"I dreamt I was in a very dark place, and a voice called out to me. I didn't know whose voice it was, and a huge figure appeared before me. The figure looked at me sharply, as if he wanted to threaten me." Gried explained with a fast tempo in one breath. His voice sounded trembling. It was clearly visible on her face that she was very frightened.
"Calm down! Take a deep breath, set your breath. For now you must calm down first." Mike tries to calm down the Gried who looks shrouded in deep fear.
"Is this a side effect?" Mike turned his gaze to Miss Elyana. That face was the face of someone thirsting for explanation. Miss Elyana shook her head softly in response. The woman also did not know what symptoms Gried was experiencing.
"You don't know? You're not the one doing this experiment?" Mike knitted his eyebrows. He demanded answers that could satisfy yes, not answers that no reason could find.
"I did do this experiment on you guys, but I don't know if it's a side effect or not. I didn't do any research that far!" Miss Elyana gave an explanation, hoping that Mike would stop casting a look that seemed to blame her.
Mike hardened his jaw, snorting annoyed at the explanation from Miss Elyana. He did not expect that anyone would conduct an experiment without knowing the side effects of every possible eventuality that would occur. Mike again passed his gaze on the body of Gried who remained lying in cold sweat.
"Have you felt better?" Mike looked at Gried's face with a look of anxiety. Gried replied with a small nod, making Mike feel a little more relieved.
"Forgot that nightmare for now, we don't have much time. Our comrades on earth may be in grave danger." Mike tried to explain the situation in a soft tone. Even so, the turmoil of wanting to return continues to rage inside him.
"I know." Gried stared at Mike's face in front of him. Mike who was surprised to hear that again asked a question.
"You know that already? Where'd you know that?"
"The nightmare...." Gried paused for a moment, pausing himself to continue the sentence.
"I see the state of the earth today. I can see the three of them fighting monsters. But more than that, I hope that the dream is really just a dream. It would be so scary if it came true."
Gried tried to get up, changing his position to sit up straight. The boy took a deep breath, exhaling it slowly. His eyes looked one and looked up. In his head again spun the memory fragments from his nightmare. About the hell-like earth and about the three seniors who are struggling to stay alive.
"What's that dream like? Will you tell me?"
