Regrets After the Farewell

Regrets After the Farewell
Chapter 57.

Today Salman and Safia are finally referenced and witnessed by the people who work in that house.

It is not said how happy Saka is to see his parents reunited.

"Same Papa don't separate anymore, yes, Saka love you both" said the boy after Safia officially became Salman's wife again.

Safia only smiled despite the awkward feeling in her heart, while Salman looked so happy and took Saka into his arms, he also loved her son very much.

During the night, Salman and Safia choose to sleep in Saka's room as the boy requests, the three of them sleeping soundly before Safia awakens in the middle of the night and moves to the next room.

At about two in the morning, Salman gasped from his sleep and found an empty mattress on the left of Saka. Salman quickly sat down and got out of bed rubbing his eyes.

After enveloping and kissing his son's forehead, Salman left the room and walked towards the next room.

As Salman pressed the doorknob, Safia was suddenly aghast and quickly wrapped her body in a blanket and closed her eyes as if she were sleeping.

Yes, Safia deliberately moved because she felt uncomfortable being near Salman, she thought Salman would not know but it turned out that the man had caught up with her instead.

Salman carved a smile as he set foot in the room. After closing the door and locking it, she stepped up to the bed and lay down beside Safia, she even went inside the blanket and hugged Safia from behind.

Safia opened her eyes wide as Salman stroked her stomach, not knowing what her husband meant but Safia was really nervous.

"Why move here?" salman whispered right in Safia's earlobe and landed a small kiss there.

Safia gasped with her heart rumbling, her whole body suddenly goosebumps when hit by a warm Salman breath, Salman's voice also sounded hoarse like holding something back.

Salman knew Safia was not sleeping, he deliberately teased his wife. However, Safia was silent as if she felt nothing.

Suddenly Safia shuddered in horror in light of the events seven years ago. He was really afraid that Salman would do the same to him.

Salman raised one eyebrow when he felt the tremors in Safia's body and distanced his hand and inched. Salman understood, maybe Safia was not ready to accept him.

Salman looked down and stared at the ceiling of the room, then closed his eyes with both hands folded under his head.

After an hour, Salman could not go to sleep, his feelings began to fidget with his body sweating heat.

Salman decided to get out of bed and walk to the door. Before leaving the room, Salman turned his neck toward Safia, a thin grin curled at the corner of his lips.

Salman sighed heavily and threw it away violently, then continued his steps.

Arriving at the bottom floor, Salman chose to enter the room of the father who had never been touched by anyone, he continued his sleep there.

...****************...

Early in the morning Safia was awake and confused to see the empty mattress beside her. His eyes rolled wildly staring at every corner but did not see Salman everywhere.

Then Safia got out of bed, she walked into the bathroom and opened the door, but still did not find Salman inside.

Safia knitted both eyebrows. Where was her husband, didn't they sleep together last night?

Since she was already in the bathroom, Safia also chose to clean herself first, she had to go down to prepare breakfast.

In another room, Salman also jerked from his sleep, his eyes feeling so heavy that he was reluctant to get up. Salman chose to lie still thinking about what he would do after this.

He knows now that his status has returned to being Safia's husband, but Salman cannot possibly depend on his wife. He had to find a job to support his wife and children.

As he was about to climb the stairs, he accidentally bumped into Safia. Salman just smiled as he said good morning, then climbed the stairs in a hurry, even Safia had not had time to say anything to him.

Arriving at the room, Salman went straight into the bathroom and cleaned himself up.

Down there, Safia enters the kitchen and asks Ina to take her place, returning to the top after Salman.

Upon arrival in the room, Safia combed every corner with a nervous look, she was at a loss on how to adjust to her current status.

Not finding Salman, Safia chose to sit on the side of the bed, believing Salman was in the bathroom.

Not long after, the sound of the door creaking made Safia aghast, she tried to look calm and breathe as much air.

Salman came out of the bathroom with his waist wrapped around a towel, he frowned when he found Safia who was sitting with her face bent, Safia did not look at him at all.

Salman then fell silent and rushed to the closet and opened it, looking for formal clothes that he would use to find work.

After Salman put on his clothes, he combed his hair in front of the mirror. Suddenly he smiled wryly staring at the reflection of his own body.

It was only fitting that Safia was reluctant to get close to him, he just seemed to not recognize himself.

Yes, Salman is now much different from what he was. Now her face has begun to age, in addition to some parts of the face that began to wrinkle, her hair has turned gray filled with gray hair, in contrast to Safia who is even more beautiful despite having given birth to one child.

"Where did you sleep last night, Mas?" asked Safia who finally dared to open her voice.

Salman turned his neck towards Safia who was now staring at him. "In Dad's room." Salman replied in a slightly cold tone.

Safia knitted both eyebrows. "Why?"

"It's okay, I want it." Salman said.

"Where are you going now? Why is it so early?" asked Safia again with narrowed eyes.

Salman put the comb still in his hand on the dressing table and walked over to Safia and sat down next to her.

"You go outside for a while" he replied with his body slightly tilted facing Safia.

"Where?" Safia asked again.

Salman sighed heavily and threw it away violently. "You're looking for work. I can't stay at home, I have to have income to support you and Saka."

Safia raised next to the eyebrows and stared intimately at Salman. What is Salman amnesia?

"Well, don't you have your own company? Why look for another job?" Safia did not understand her husband's thoughts.

"No, it's all yours. Now that I have nothing left, I have to work to earn money, I can't possibly depend on you. Being accepted to stay in this house alone is enough to make me happy." said Salman with a foggy look, his eyes teary.

Then Salman rubbed Safia's head and kissed her affectionately. "I'll go first."

After saying that, Salman got up from his seat and stepped out of Safia who was pecking at his seat.

Safia really did not understand the contents of her husband's head. It is clear that everything he enjoys belongs to Salman. It is not Salman who depends on life but Safia.
