Regrets After the Farewell

Regrets After the Farewell
Chapter 28.

In a small village on the outskirts of the city, a beautiful woman is on the terrace of a rented house.

The cold wind felt piercing to the bone, the leaves fell to touch the bowels of the earth. Even the raindrops began to fall as tears flowed down the woman's cheeks.

Now she must learn to adjust to a new environment, dealing with strangers she has never known before.

Heavy indeed, moreover, he was not used to living alone. It felt so quiet and hollow, there was no longer a sound that always made him angry.

But for some reason, that longing suddenly came to his heart. He himself did not know whether he would be able to continue this life alone.

In the midst of the turmoil of his heart that was becoming more and more, suddenly there was the sound of the sound of the bang of objects such as the sound of firecrackers that were quite loud.

The woman gasped from her daydream, her entire body trembling as it caught the silhouette of someone who had suddenly fallen before the eyes of her head.

"Well..."

Yes, Safia screamed hysterically while closing her eyes and ears. He was completely shocked to see the blood flowing on the man's forehead and hands.

"Please.." groaned the man in a barely audible voice. Safia opened her eyes again and ventured to the man.

"Help me, this hurts a lot" he asked with a misty look. The world seemed to be shaken by an earthquake until his body floated in the air.

Safia seemed hesitant when she wanted to help the man. He was afraid of making a wrong decision.

What if that guy turns out to be a bad guy?

But as a human who still had a conscience, Safia could not bear to let the man in pain. Especially considering his vow as a doctor, of course, one's life is a top priority for him.

"I-I'll help you, but please don't do anything to me!" safia said stuttered, she must ensure her safety first.

"No, but please take me inside. I'm not safe here" said the man, his gaze growing dark as unceasing blood flowed down the temple of his forehead.

"I-iya," Safia nodded, crouched down and helped the man stand up and swept him into the house.

Then Safia sat the man on the floor with a mat and helped him lean against the wall.

"Wait here, I'll be back" said Safia who was actually very afraid to see the man's gaze. His eyes were as sharp as an eagle about to tear apart prey, his jaws were also sharply sculpted like a starving wolf.

"Please close and lock the door, don't open it if anyone knocks!" said the man with a pressing tone.

"But-but..."

"Please, I beg you!" urged the man who made Safia forced to nod her head.

Safia then got up from her squat and closed the door at the man's request.

Afterwards Safia walked into the kitchen and prepared water and cloth. He couldn't do much more than stop the man's bleeding, he didn't have a medical device he could use.

"Sorry, it might hurt a little. Please hold on for a minute!"

After saying that, Safia cleaned the blood that continued to flow on the man's forehead and tied his head with a cloth. So did he do with the man's hand.

A moment of silence came as Safia did her duty painstakingly. The man just kept looking at her without even blinking.

"Already, it seems like no one is looking for you here. I'm sorry that I can only help you so much, now you can go!" safia said, politely evict the man.

"Please let me be here, just last night, please!" the door with hope. He couldn't have gotten out of that contract, out there a great danger was lurking. He had to stay there until it was completely safe.

"Sorry, but that's impossible. I don't want people to misunderstand us, I'm new here. If they kick me out, I-"

"That will not happen, I will guarantee your honor and safety. Trust me!" cut the man convinced Safia.

"But-"

"Please, just help me this time!" ask the man while cupping his hands in front of his chest.

Safia blinked and sighed as much as she was confused on how to convince the man to leave her contract.

However she is the wife of a person, it is unethical for a married woman to have to live under the same roof as a foreign man.

"Trust me, I promise you tomorrow morning will be leaving this place soon." added the man with a sad look.

"Okay, but there's only one room here. You-"

"It's okay, I can sleep here. It's not too bad," cut the man off.

"Hmm.." muttered Safia who was forced to give her permission.

After that Safia entered the room and picked up a pillow and a cloth. "This, wear. The weather was quite cold" Safia said thrusting it into the man's hands.

"Thank you," the man took over the object while carving a smile. But Safia did not reply and instead hurried back to the room and closed the door and locked it.

At Salman's residence, the man appeared frustrated that he had no news of Safia's whereabouts. He was confused where to look, no trace of Safia left for him.

"Yes..."

Salman was aghast and raised his head quickly. She thought it was Safia's voice but it turned out to be Mika's voice that suddenly appeared before her.

"Who told you to come here?" salman asked with a sharp murderous look.

"Mas, I-I"

"I don't need you here, go home to the apartment!" ousted Salman, he left the living room and stepped up to the steps.

"Yes..."

Mika did not give up until there. He ran after Salman and hugged him from behind.

"Beyond Mika!" salman snapped with a high voice.

"No, I'm not letting you go this time. I know you're lonely, only I can understand you" Mika said tightening her embrace.

At once Salman fell silent and let Mika embrace him. Is it only Mika who understands her? But Salman doesn't want the woman anymore, all he needs is his wife Safia. A woman who has broken her feelings.

"Mas, forget that woman! He left you, which means he doesn't love you anymore. I'm the only one who's always been loyal to you" Mika said, trying to brainwash Salman.

Yes, actually Mika has been in that house since this afternoon. He deliberately hid in the back room when he found Salman who returned home in a tangled state.

At first Mika wanted to get out, but out of curiosity about what happened to Salman, she decided to stay behind and find out what happened.

Mika also heard when Salman contacted someone, from there Mika knew that Safia had gone from Salman's life. This is an opportunity for him to win back Salman's heart.

Salman removed Mika's hand from her stomach and continued his steps up the stairs. Mika did not want to waste the golden opportunity, she followed Salman and entered the room.

Without warning, Mika courageously pushed Salman to fall on the bed. His strength was already drained from being tired of thinking about Safia all day.

Not stopping there, Mika also climbed on the bed and pressed Salman under her body. Salman just kept silent with the many problems that were entangling in his brain.

"Forgot him, now there's me who'll never leave you alone." Mika also dropped her face right on Salman's lips, the woman rubbed her lips while fingering the surface of Salman's chest.

A moment Salman was swept away in the game created by Mika, but not long after he realized and pushed Mika strongly.

"Mas.." snapped Mika as her body rolled beside Salman.

Salman looked at the woman with glowing red eyes. "Don't be presumptuous, I'm not the cheap guy you think I am." - Salman rose from the bed.

"Conscious, what do you expect from that woman? She's gone, she's leaving you." said Mika in a raised voice.

"Yes, he's gone, but that doesn't mean I'm going to betray him. As long as she is still officially my wife, don't expect me to turn away from her!" salman's snaps were stirred with emotion.

"Stupid you, Mas." said Mika tried to grab Salman's hand, but the man rushed to pull him over.

"Go away from here, lest I do violence to you!" throw out Salman with a strong jaw.

"No, I'm-"

"Go!" shouts Salman who can no longer control anger. "I stress to you, our relationship has ended from this second. Now get out of my life!" it was Salman who finally decided to end his relationship with Mika.

"Based on a liar, where's your promise to marry me?" screeched Mika with a thunderous voice.

"I'm sorry I let you down, but this is my choice. You can go and never come back!" Salman grabbed the doorknob that meant to get Mika out of his presence. "Oh yeah, better go back to Alex, he deserves you more" Salman said, staring at Mika.

"Whatchu mean? Why did you throw me at him?" mika asked surprised.

"Don't pretend to be stupid in front of me! From the beginning I knew how far you two were. I thought I could accept that, but in reality I couldn't" Salman said, making Mika's eyes perfectly round.

He thought all the secrets would be sealed forever, but unfortunately it turns out Salman has known it since long ago. Then why is Salman still willing to defend himself for several years?

"I didn't want to bother with this at first, I thought I loved you so much and could accept you no matter what. But now I realize that love is only a momentary feeling, not you the woman I want to be." Salman said.

"But Mas-"

"Go!" Salman opened the door wide.
