Regrets After the Farewell

Regrets After the Farewell
Chapter 53.

"Dear baby, take a shower first yuk, end it's breakfast. Mama has made Saka's favorite food." Safia said when she arrived at the son's room, then opened the window curtain and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Saka didn't want to get up, Saka just wanted to sleep." the boy turned his back on Safia and pulled out the blanket and covered her body.

Safia let out a long sigh then threw it away violently. "So you're still mad at Mama?" tanyakanya.

"No, what's the anger for?" kilah Saka, even though he is still very upset because he cannot stay with Salman.

After seven years of waiting, Saka finally found what he was looking for. But according to him Safia is too selfish and does not care about her feelings.

Saka just wants to stay with Salman, he wants to feel the affection of a father. Is he wrong?

"If you're not angry, get up!" press Safia while pulling the blanket wrapped around her son's body.

"What the hell, Ma? Saka's still sleepy." Saka took the pillow and covered his face.

Seeing Saka who was still not willing to wake up, Safia was forced to give up and choose to leave the room.

Then Safia walked towards Salman's room, the man was still sleeping when Safia stayed in the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

Just like earlier, Safia also pulled out the window curtain shortly after entering the room. Salman immediately frowned as the radiance of sunlight pierced his eyes.

"Duh, close dear dong, glare noah." murmured Salman as he turned his back to the light source.

Degs...

Safia was aghast, her heart racing when she first heard Salman calling her dear. Is Salman delirious?

"Mas.." call Safia from a distance.

"Hmm.." murmured Salman then opened his eyes slowly, as soon as the corner of Salman's lips lifted up to form a thin smile when he saw Safia's face.

"Saka doesn't want to get up, it seems like she's still mad at me." Safia explained with a troubled look.

"It's okay, it'll be good on its own. Come here, sit here first!" call Salman to move his hand in the air, he wants Safia to sit nearby.

"No, I want to"

Salman got off the bed and walked over to Safia. The nervous Safia then took a few steps back, making Salman frown in wonder.

"What's wrong with you? Are you afraid of me?" salman stopped his steps.

"N-no, I just... Take a shower, I'll wait downstairs!" Safia turned around and ran away from the room, Salman who saw it could only shake his head and chose to go into the bathroom.

After cleaning himself, Salman came out and opened the closet door, he was stunned to see his clothes were still intact and neatly arranged without anything lacking.

As Salman gave a small smile, he did not expect that Safia still kept all her belongings, he thought Safia had already thrown them away after the two of them separated.

Salman quickly put on his clothes and walked out of the room.

Instead of going down, Salman chose to go into Saka's room. He remembered Safia saying that Saka did not want to wake up because he was still angry because of yesterday's incident.

Shortly after opening the door, Salman smiled at Saka who was still lying wrapped in a blanket. Salman approached and sat down on the side of the bed.

"What the hell else, Ma? Saka doesn't want to wake up." the boy said as Salman touched his head.

Saka flicked the blanket when he heard Salman's voice, as soon as the boy's eyes were round, he sprinkled into the arms of the father.

"When is Papa here?" saka asked, clutching Salman's nape tightly and hiding his face around his neck.

"That's not important. Now that Papa is here, Saka should not be naughty anymore, pity Mama." replied Salman clutching the boy tightly while rubbing his head.

"Saka not naughty, Pa. Saka was just disappointed with Mama." explained the boy.

"Although Saka's actions were wrong, Saka had made Mama sad, even though Mama had woken up early and prepared breakfast for Saka. Does Saka not pity Mama?" said Salman.

"Yes Pa, I'm sorry Saka. Saka promises not to be naughty anymore, but Papa also has to promise Saka." said the boy.

"What promise?" ask Salman.

"Papa don't go again ya, stay here with Saka and Mama!" pinta the boy.

"Yes, Papa promised, Papa's not going anywhere. Now Saka take a bath first yes, follow Papa down, we will have breakfast together." invite Salman.

"Yes, Saka's taking a shower now."

The boy let go of his embrace and jumped down from the bed and ran to the bathroom. Salman who saw it carved a smile and a wiggle of the head.

It's still a surprise to Salman, he never thought he would have a son growing up without his affection.

Stupid him for not trying to find out the state of Safia all this time. If he had done so, it might have been a long time that he and Saka had met, Saka would not have had to suffer from it.

But regret will not be able to change anything, Salman cannot repeat the time, he can only correct the mistakes he has made.

Long fixated on his thoughts, Salman got up from the bed and walked to the closet. He opens it and prepares clothes for Saka, Salman wants to pay for all the time that has been wasted.

Just as Salman wanted to put Saka's clothes on the bed, the boy had already appeared with a plain and wet body. Salman laughed at the adorable behavior of his son.

"Oh my goodness, the bird will fly if it is not covered." Salman jangled his head.

"Habow height, Pa. Saka couldn't reach her." said the boy with pursed lips.

"really?" Salman frowned and walked into the bathroom.

Sure enough, the towel was hanging high enough on the glass door that Saka could not pull it.

Salman took the towel and took it outside and helped Saka dry up. After that Salman put on Saka's clothes and combed her hair.

"What a beauty, whose child is this?" seductress Salman, she looks like she's mirrored in front of a mirror. Saka was very similar to him when he was a child.

"Papa's son Mama dong, whose other son?" sahut Saka then hugged Salman while laughing freely.

Salman rattled his son's hair and kissed his cheek fondly then carried Saka and brought her down.

It was time for the two of them to have breakfast considering the clock had already shown at eight in the morning.

Salman is already very hungry and wants to taste Safia's cuisine after a long time.

It feels like today is a very precious diamond for Salman, he himself did not expect to be able to re-assemble as it is today, gratitude alone is not enough to express how happy Salman's heart is.
