Regrets After the Farewell

Regrets After the Farewell
Chapter 54.

Arriving in the dining room, Salman dropped Saka down near the table, the boy ran to the kitchen and hugged Safia who was making milk for him.

"May, Ma." said the boy.

"August, baby. Already awake?" safia asked surprised to see her son who was neat and fragrant.

"Already dong, Ma. Saka has also taken a shower, was fitted with Papa's clothes."

Saka proudly turned towards Salman who was sitting on the dining table chair.

Salman just smiled at the two, as well as Safia who felt a little jealous to see Saka who suddenly complied while with Salman.

Yes, Safia thought maybe because Saka had long craved the affection of a father.

"Wait at the table, Mama will bring milk for Saka!"

Saka immediately nodded and returned to the dining table. The boy did not want to sit alone, instead he asked Salman to hold him.

Of course Salman did not mind, he held Saka and sat the boy in his lap.

"What would you eat?" salman asked while looking for food that had been served at the table.

"Whatever Papa, the important thing is to be fed" the boy replied spoiledly.

Salman smiled again and kissed the head of his son.

Then Salman took food and fed Saka as he wished.

While feeding Saka, Safia came to bring a glass of milk and a cup of coffee to Salman. After putting it on the table, Safia sat down in front of her ex-husband.

"Mama wants to be fed too? It's good to eat through Papa's hands." Saka carved a smile.

Safia was aghast at her son's words and looked at Salman hesitantly. Both of them seemed awkward considering Saka's unreasonable speech.

"No, Mama can eat alone." declined Safia, then filled the plate with food.

While feeding Saka, Salman's eyes still ventured to look at Safia once in a while, Salman felt Safia was uncomfortable being nearby.

Salman immediately smiled bitterly and refocused on Saka.

After enjoying breakfast, Saka finished her milk and left the dining table first. The boy ran to the living room and chose to watch television.

Salman and Safia are still sitting with disturbing looks. Salman quickly sipped his coffee and said. "Thank you for the breakfast and the coffee, it tastes so good."

"Yes, equally." sahut Safia brief.

"Yes, then I'll go home first." Salman got up from his seat, Safia just silently looked at him.

As no words came out of Safia's mouth, Salman left the dinner table and followed Saka forward.

Salman sat down next to his son and said that he should go home and would come back another time.

Saka made Salman's mouth sing. "Papa can't go anywhere, didn't Papa promise to stay here with Saka?"

"Papa's not going anywhere, baby. Papa will stay with Saka, only Papa can not linger in this house. Later Papa will return, Saka can also play to Papa's house." Salman tried to give his son some understanding.

"don't want. If Papa leaves, it means that Papa does not love Saka." the boy looks disappointed and runs away leaving Salman alone.

It's not that Salman doesn't want to stay in the house, but his status doesn't deserve to remain there.

From a distance, Safia was stunned to see the face of Salman who looked confused. He himself was confused in this situation.

Noticing Safia's presence watching him, Salman forced himself to smile. He got up from his seat and walked over to Safia.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make a mess in this house. Please give understanding to Saka, I go home first."

After saying that, Salman swung a big step towards the main door, Safia again said nothing and let Salman leave just like that.

Realizing that Safia did not prevent his departure, Salman squeezed his chest that suddenly felt piercing, very painful like being stabbed by nails.

But what can Salman do? Shouldn't it be like this?

Salman quickly got on his motorcycle and quickly left the house. The longer he stays there, the harder it is for Salman to control his feelings.

Along the way, Salman's mind was unrelenting to Saka. He knew his son would be upset when he learned of his departure, but Salman had no other choice.

Salman also did not dare to say anything to Safia, Salman was afraid of being wrong in speaking. He did not want to burden Safia's mind anymore.

Minutes later, Salman parked his motorcycle in front of the sorum, Salman had decided to return to work at the site.

Salman is aware he must fulfill his responsibilities as a father. Even with a salary that is not much, he must still provide Saka.

Salman then met the manager who was in his room. With a heavy heart Salman was forced to lick his own spit, he said no to leaving the job.

Luckily Salman was welcomed by the manager, he was also accepted to work there.

Salman seemed so happy, he was unceasingly grateful for being given a second chance. Salman will also start work today.

Shortly after leaving the manager's room, Salman quickly entered the dressing room and quickly swapped his clothes for a mechanic's shirt.

For the first time in seven years, Salman worked with great zeal without any burden.

Elsewhere, Safia still tried to persuade Saka. The boy locked himself in the room shortly after witnessing his father's departure through the window.

Saka was very sad, he thought Salman would never leave him again, but in reality Salman did not keep his promise at all.

"Saka, open the door, Mama wants to talk!" safia shouted while knocking on the door. Unfortunately Saka did not care, he was also reluctant to reply.

The boy lamented Salman's departure, his body stunned on the floor just below the glass window.

An hour later, Saka opened the door slowly, carrying a backpack that he had filled with clothes.

Saka does not want to stay in the house anymore, he feels that everyone does not love him, including Safia who instead let Salman go.

While sneaking around like a thief, Saka managed to sneak into the car. It just so happened that the car was going to take Ina to the market to buy groceries.

Saka crouched behind the seat so that his whereabouts were unknown to anyone. Lagian Ina sat on the front bench, right next to the driver.

As the car stops in front of a supermarket, Saka comes out of hiding. He got down and ran away so that no one would see his whereabouts.

Saka himself does not know where to go, he just wants to find the father and live with him.
