Safia arrived at Saka's room and sat down by the side of the gurney. At first Saka did not want to see Safia, but after realizing there was something wrong with the mother, Saka turned her head and was right, Safia was crying with her eyes moist.
"Your father is actually a very good person, he has indeed made mistakes and tried to improve himself. But Mama was too selfish, Mama was so stubborn that Papa had to leave Mama. Papa didn't know that you were in your stomach. Papa wouldn't have possibly left us if he found out."
"It's not Papa who's wrong, but Mama. Papa is too affectionate with grandma so can not think clearly. Papa thought it was Mama who caused your grandmother to die, Papa just did his responsibility as a child."
"You're lucky to still have complete parents, unlike Mama who had to lose her grandmother and grandfather at a very young age. Papa is not evil, Papa loves you very much. The proof, on giving up his life for you. Papa donated his spinal cord to you, he wants to see you grow up like other kids."
Safia's tears flowed profusely without her being able to hold back. "Now your father is lying weak with no strength, not knowing whether he can survive or not."
Safia lowered her head in tears, how hard she tried to hold back but still the crying could not be stopped.
"Ma.." said Saka who felt guilty to see Safia crying in despair.
"Hate will never solve problems, vengeance will destroy ourselves. Mama already felt it, Mama regretted being a very stubborn wife."
"Mama can be what she is today, it's all because of your Papa's sacrifice. Papa gave all his possessions to Mama. The house, the company, the hospital, even all the savings he had. Now that your father lives in a very modest house, he must fight from nothing to rebuild his life."
Safia left her seat and went into the bathroom. After washing her face, she went out and sat on the sofa. His mind could not be separated from Salman who was still lying in a special room.
At about ten p.m., Safia was surprised by the arrival of Alex who had just finished handling Salman. The two sit on the sofa, Alex then recounts how Salman is doing post-surgery.
Alex explains that it is likely that Salman will fall into a coma due to too much blood loss, after all Salman does not respond to any drugs that enter his body.
Salman is like dead even though his pulse is still throbbing, he alone can decide to go back or leave for good.
Safia just silently listened to that, she remembered Salman's words at home earlier. It looks like Salman has really given up on living.
After Alex leaves Saka's room, Safia cries alone again. Although he has been separated for a long time, but he is not ready to lose Salman forever.
Without Safia realizing it, it turns out that Saka heard all the talk that happened between her and Alex earlier. Saka did not sleep, he just pretended to sleep because it was not strong to see the sadness on Safia's face.
One Week Later
In the morning, Safia leaves Saka's room after wiping the boy's body and feeding him and giving him medicine to heal quickly. Safia must handle the patient and leave Saka to Ina.
Today was the last day Saka was hospitalized, Alex and Safia had already talked about this before, they allowed Saka to go home and rest at home.
After Safia disappeared from the room, Saka quickly sat down while calling Ina to get closer.
"Sister, please take me to Papa's room!" pinta Saka, he wants to meet with Salman and apologise for the mistakes he has made. Because she was bleeding and had to be hospitalized.
Ina initially refused, she could not comply with the boy's wishes. Ina is afraid to act out of Safia's knowledge who could scold her if she follows Saka's will.
However, Ina eventually relents due to Saka's insistence on threatening to leave alone. Of course Ina couldn't possibly let Saka out of the room by herself.
Upon arrival in Salman's room, Saka was silent to see Salman who was stiffened with the number of medical devices attached to his body.
Saka shouldn't have been looking for Salman that night, he didn't know Salman had just done a spinal cord transplant for him.
Salman has given him a new life, what else does he expect?
A father would do anything for his son. So too with Salman who has sacrificed his life for Saka.
"Sister, I just want to be with Papa. Can you wait for me outside?" pinta Saka on Ina.
Ina just nodded, she gave Saka a chance to be alone with Salman.
After Ina disappeared and closed the door, Saka approached Salman and stood at the edge of the gurney. His heart melted at the very sad state of Salman.
"It's been a week Papa's been here, isn't Papa tired of lying around like this?" Saka spoke very loudly, he grabbed Salman's hand and grasped it tightly.
Too bad Salman did not respond to his son's words, the man was petrified like a lifeless statue.
"It's okay if Papa won't wake up. Saka make sure Papa will regret it because we will completely go from Papa's life. Saka will ask Uncle Alex to marry Mama, so Papa will lose Mama forever. Nor would Saka ever assume Papa existed, Uncle Alex was much better than Papa who was just a coward."
Saka removed his grip from Salman's hand and then kept his distance from the weakly stretched man.
"As for Papa, Uncle Alex is always there for us. She likes Mama and Saka likes her too. Saka doesn't mind making Uncle Alex the new Papa Saka, rather than Papa being completely useless."
Saka continued to speak with emotion as if Salman was meaningless in his eyes.
"Today Saka has been allowed to go home by Uncle Alex and tomorrow, tomorrow is Mama's birthday. We would have fun celebrating all day and Saka would ask Uncle Alex to propose to Mama. The three of us will live happily and Papa, Papa will only suffer alone without anyone accompanying."
"Watch this solitude of Papa, Saka doesn't want to see Papa's face anymore."
Saka turned around and was shocked when he realized there was Safia already standing in the doorway. Safia glared at Saka, she was angry at all the words coming out of her son's mouth.
"So, who taught you"
Safia's words stopped as Saka put her index finger on her lips. Safia frowned, she did not understand what the boy meant.
Then Saka walked over to Safia and asked her to bow. "Follow the game of Saka, Saka did not mean that. Saka just wants to provoke Papa's emotions to wake up from her sleep." whispered the boy.
"But, Nak-"
"Sstt... Mama has to believe Saka, Saka just wants to wake Papa up. Saka was sorry Ma, Saka wanted to apologize but Papa didn't want to hear it." the boy was full of regrets.
Safia who began to understand immediately clenched Saka tightly. "Here, don't be sad anymore. Mama understood Saka's intention."
After the two whisper to each other, Saka turns away from Safia and returns to Salman.
