It did not feel the night passed so quickly, the morning had arrived as the rays of the sun began to rise shining on the earth.
On the bed, Salman gasped from his sleep. He rubbed his eyes and opened them slowly.
Salman frowned when he saw Safia everywhere. He quickly got up and looked around, Safia was certainly not in the room.
But Salman seems mediocre without feeling the slightest loss. He lay back and grabbed his cell phone on the nightstand.
When Salman turned on the phone, there were a lot of missed calls and a few messages inside. He opened them one by one and was cool to reply to messages that he felt were very important, then he contacted someone to pick him up to the hotel.
Minutes later, Salman put the phone on a pillow and got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.
Shortly after the door opened, Salman stepped in regardless of where his wife was at the moment.
But how surprised he was when he found Safia's innocent body that was lying stiff on the bathroom floor.
As Salman's countenance turned pale, he ran over to Safia and quickly turned off the shower.
"Hey, wake up, don't joke!" salman shouted as he crouched down and patted Safia's cheeks. Unfortunately the woman did not respond at all. His body looked as pale as an undead.
How not, all night Safia lay unconscious and continued to be flooded with water that never stopped flowing. Maybe his heart has stopped beating.
"Hey, let's get up, don't make me mad!" belang Salman raised his voice, but still Safia could not hear him.
Salman began to panic, inevitably he was forced to carry Safia and take her outside. Salman laid him on the bed and covered his wife's innocent body with a blanket.
Not knowing how, Salman then snatched the phone located on the pillow. He called a doctor who was his best friend.
"Just bother," said Salman snorted angrily and then threw his phone on the sofa and left Safia alone. He went into the bathroom and cleaned himself up.
Ten minutes later, Salman came out with a fresher body than before. He quickly put on clothes and brewed tea to warm his throat.
Just as Salman was about to sip the tea he made, the bell suddenly rang. Salman placed the cup on the table and stepped towards the door.
At once Salman commented with a smile to find his best friend, and then allowed the man to enter.
"Morning is rattling, what's wrong?" hatch Alex. He is a doctor who is none other than Salman's own friend.
"It wasn't me, but he was..." Salman pointed to Safia's bed, her face looking wryly at his wife.
Alex looked at Safia at a glance and then shook his head with a small smile. "Gosh, just got beaten up last night. Are you out of your mind?"
"Don't do a lot of bacots. Quickly check him, then get out of here!" ketus Salman with a sharp gaze killed.
While waiting for Alex to finish checking on Safia, Salman chose to sit on the sofa and reach for the cup that was on the table. He folded his legs with his bow and sipped his homemade tea which was getting cold,
"How's it?" salman asked indifferently, he did not care about Safia at all.
"Your wife's condition seems a little serious. It's best to be taken to the hospital so that it can be checked thoroughly" Alex replied.
"No need, give infusions and injections only. Soon he will wake up" Salman replied.
"Are you out of your mind? Your wife's pulse and heartbeat are so weak, you can see for yourself her face looks pale and cold." Alex raised her voice. He was not left thinking with Salman's totally inhumane reaction.
"Don't patronize me, I know what to do. Do your job and get out of here!" salman has expelled Alex.
"I've done my job as a doctor. If anything happens to your wife, then don't blame me" Alex said, packing her medical kit and stepping out of the room.
After Alex's back disappeared from his sight, Salman got up from his seat and walked over to the bed. He pecked at Safia's face which still looked pale, at once he was silent for a while.
Instead of feeling guilty, Salman carved a cynical smile. He felt very happy to see the suffering that Safia was going through, for him this was not how much, he would make Safia suffer even more than this.
Yes, from the beginning Safia met him. Everything has been set so well by Salman, even the arrival of four men who at that time wanted to harass Safia were his men.
Salman deliberately engineered the incident that night to attract Safia's sympathy. He also deliberately pretended to be kind for the past two months to take the poor woman's heart. He even easily said love for Safia to fall into her trap.
Now that everything Salman had planned had come true, he would not let Safia slip from his grasp so easily. For Salman the debt of life must be paid with life.
Salman's hatred for Safia began six months ago. Salman's mother had to be rushed to the hospital because of a long-standing illness.
Since there were no internal medicine specialists on duty, Safia was eventually appointed by the hospital chief to handle the middle-aged woman.
At first Safia balked at the hospital chief's request, she did not dare because it was not her field. However, after seeing the condition of the patient getting worse, Safia was forced to take action.
But destiny says something else. Before Safia could handle it, the woman had already breathed her last. Safia had not even touched him at all.
According to information Salman received from the driver who took his mother to the hospital, he concluded that the mother's death had something to do with Safia. She thinks Safia did the mall practice act that caused her mother to die.
Since then, Salman has finally decided to return to his homeland. He left Canada and settled in Indonesia.
In addition to avenging his mother's death, Salman also has to keep his promise to his late father.
He had to finish all his affairs down to his roots, he would not let Safia be happy on top of her suffering. Safia had to die for her after her mother who had gone before the Creator. Safia had to pay for this with her own life.
