My Notorious Gentleman's

"really?"

"I saw it in the paper! He is an agent of the Order. War hero..and honorable man! He won't harm me. Now, are you going with me or not?"

Grace raised her chin, trying to be firm with Calpurnia as her attitude towards the girl's lover, George.

"No. Don't bother him."

Calpurnia's red lips shriveled showing her strong determination.

"All right." He started walking towards his train.

"Callie! What will your mother say?"

"What a good one, my son! But, Miss Kenwood has really made a mistake by ignoring you!"

The girl imitated the voice of the baroness, her mother, which was terrifying and seemed to be following in her footsteps as well.

"Now, get on the train."

"I'm a mess!" Grace pointed at her dress.

"I work from the morning here! My body is dirty with dirt!"

"You look like a country girl. That's charming. You look fine. Well, at least you can take your apron off first. Hurry on!"

"Oh my God," whispered Grace briefly, trying to remain patient.

"You'll just come there like a barbarian army, you'll scare him into buying that land.

"Kill him be afraid?" Callie laughs at Grace who sounds ominous.

"Normally that's not the effect I've had on a man, Grace, after all, he's a trained soldier! I can't imagine a man seeming afraid of a little girl like me. She must be more fun than you!"

Callie grabbed his horse's harness and turned the horse-drawn carriage, then rode it.

"Callie!"

"I wish I'd met you there!"

Callie shows her grin to Grace then signs her horse to move. Grace jerks furiously after Calpurnia.

"Back you!"

Vain. You rash girl!

While Callie's train is speeding back, Grace, in a still confused state, only remembers that her father once invited Lord Trevor to eat at their residence.

Geez, I have not prepared anything to serve that man! Grace ran towards the house, almost forgetting the little girl.

"Miss Grace!" scream Bitsy.

"Stay here, honey," said Grace, releasing her apron and hurrying.

"I'll be right back..."

"Oh...! Then come with me. Hurry."

Bitsy was still too small to use the bathroom outside the building alone, so Grace took her rushing inside the house.

First Grace goes to the kitchen, telling the cook to cut one of their best chicken, they will have a guest. Then he made sure Bitsy used the potty in his room well.

Actually it was not a trivial thing, but Grace waited as patiently as possible, still cursing herself because her heart was beating unbecoming.

They both washed their hands, and when Grace saw her reflection in the mirror, she noticed a wild glint in her eyes. Control yourself.

Is correct. Grace took a deep breath and slowly let go. He really could not believe the consequences that this man could have on him.

"Well, Bitsy." Grace crouched down in front of her little friend.

"You're here, yeah. I have to catch up with Miss Windlesham."

Bitsy. "I'm coming!"

"No, wait here with the cook

..." but Grace was silent for a moment, remembering that the cook would cut the chicken in a moment.

Grace closed her eyes tightly and struggled to gather her patience once again.

The sight of cutting the chicken would be a nightmare for such a small child, especially after Bitsy's story about the little ducks.

"alright. You can come with me," said Grace relented.

"But try to walk quickly. Like your brothers."

Grace takes Bitsy by the hand and takes her back out, then they walk to the neighboring land. Bitsy walked beside him seriously, moving as far as her little legs were out.

Meanwhile, Grace prays that Calpurnia does not scare Lord Trevor or destroy herself for being too bold.

But maybe it's good that they were alone in the first meeting.

After all, it might just be the fate of the two of them.

Grace's stomach crumpled as she walked rushing towards Grange, curious about Lord Trevor's reaction to Callie.

An experienced spy, a beautiful young girl, who is as fond as the former fiancee of the man once was.

A chance to start again and the guy deserves it. Callie can be truly mesmerizing if she exerts her best efforts.

Feeling anxious to prevent an unwanted disaster, as Callie throws herself at the man.

Grace walked as fast as she could without having to drag Bitsy. He never ceaselessly reminds himself that the union between the handsome former spy and the girl will be a boon to the entire village.

There's only one problem, something Grace doesn't want to admit. If Lord Trevor really did marry Calpurnia, Grace was worried that part of her would definitely die.

And it really doesn't make any sense.
