In her confusion, Grace barely realized that Bitsy had grabbed her apron.
"Hurry now!" callie Urge.
"If he leaves while you're here wasting time, I'll strangle you!"
"Wait, please. Let me think for a second."
"Think what?" Callien looked at Grace impatiently.
"What's wrong with you? Don't be so unfriendly!" Then Calpurnia folded her hands in front of her chest as her eyes flashed that look.
The look that Grace knew what it meant, and even George knew better. Spoiled look, stubborn, do-like-that-you.
"I'm going to go there with or without you, Grace" she said.
"Callie, come. You know that's inappropriate. You definitely don't want her to have a bad first impression of you, do you? Give him some space to breathe..."
"You mean ignore it? But it's very rude, even it's very customary!"
"Omong empty. He'll come here and look for us when he's ready" Grace assured Callie, trying to sound normal.
"Why would you do that?"
Grace was starting to feel guilty.
"Hmm, well, we're the closest neighbors, and..."
Callie raised next to her eyebrows, looking suspicious.
"Oh, okay! He's Papa's acquaintance," I'm Grace.
Callie's mouth was open.
"Your father knew him? Gracie, why didn't you tell me from earlier?''
"I didn't know he was really coming. I don't want to give you hope."
Or my own hope.
Callie jumped, screamed, and clapped.
"We have to make room for the man. He just got back from the war..."
Callie gasp.
"He's a soldier?" Then he clutched his chest his gaze glazed over.
"I guarantee he'll be handsome in uniform."
"Yes, I sure do, but..."
"Is he married?"
"Not yet."
"Perfect! What was his name you said?"
"Lord Trevor Montgomery" reluctantly, Grace said so.
"Montgomery.. As the Duke of Haverlock's surname?"
Grace nodded.
"Yes, he's his youngest son "
Callie just looked at Grace while pleasantly surprised, then the girl turned around and headed to her carriage.
"Come on. We're going."
"Calpurnia, no."
"Oh, don't do it again!" The blonde-haired beautiful girl clenched her feet.
"You always ruin the fun. Why can't I have a little fun?"
"He's still single! You can't go there alone."
"Grace, I know you don't care about fashion trending right now, but you don't understand. I've heard the prian's name before, and I don't mean just in Debrett's," Callie said in the style she knows best.
"I know exactly who Lord Montgomery is."
