Nadira sat quietly in the garden of the Al Fathonah boarding school, while observing his two daughters, Haneen and Hania, who were carefree playing nearby. The warm sunlight shone on her joyful face. In a moment like this, Nadira felt so grateful for everything God gave her.
"Thank you, O Lord, You have fulfilled Your promise according to Your word in the letter of Al-Baqarah [2] 153 for my patience during this time."
"O you who believe! Please help (to Allah) with patience and prayer. Verily, Allah is with those who are patient." (Q.S Al-Baqarah [2] :153)
"O Lord, You also have given me the prayers which I have been saying. Treating any pain that hurts my inner self and traumatizing myself with some things."
"Isn't He (God) the one who allows (prayer) the one in trouble when he prays to Him, and removes the distress and makes you (man) the caliph (leader) on earth? Is there a God (other) next to God? There is very little (the mercy of Allah) that you remember." (Q.S An-Naml [27] :62)
"Yes Allah. Yes Rahmaan. Yes Rahiim. I don't know how to thank you for all of Your blessings and gifts, which is clear, I feel so grateful for all that I have gained so far. My patience all this time, You have paid off every day. As You have told me of Your help in the 94th Epistle, Assy-Sharh verses 5 and 6, that every difficulty there must be ease."
As twin girls Nadira ran around and cheered, she felt compelled to write down her heart into the little diary she always carried. Nadira felt the need to express the overflowing gratitude from her heart. He realizes how far he has changed since meeting Ammar, a person who is deeply in love and sincerely accepts himself.
Nadira remembers a dark past, when he had a fight and felt that God was unfair. But in an unexpected encounter with Ammar, things change. Ammar understands and accepts Nadira wholeheartedly, regardless of his dark past. He never hurt Nadira, either by word or deed.
Nadira felt like she was flying over a white cloud as gratitude overflowed from the bottom of her heart. It was as if she was walking in a beautiful flower garden, seeing the rose petals blooming with mesmerizing brightness. After going through the dark and gloomy storm of life, he felt the sunlight first illuminate his face.
In the past dark ages, Nadira felt like a directionless ship on the high seas. He considers himself a pioneer lost in the unfair labyrinth of life. But fate says otherwise when Ammar comes with a gemulai. Like a dazzling rainbow glow after a heavy rain, Ammar bestowed the warmth of infinite love on Nadira.
In the wilderness of life, Nadira felt himself like a bird confined in an iron cage. He felt trapped in the dark and filled with uncertainty. But with the presence of Ammar, the door of the cage opened wide. Nadira felt like a bird free to fly in the blue sky, touching the clouds and breathing the fresh air of life.
As if he had found a hidden gem at the bottom of the ocean, Nadira realized that Ammar was a ray of hope that never went out. Like a wise guide in his life, Ammar gave him the strength to rise from the darkness of the past. He never cursed Nadira, but lovingly followed in his footsteps on the path of kindness.
In the course of his life, Nadira now feels the magic that blooms like a flower in spring. Ammar had opened the hidden windows of his heart, allowing the sunshine of happiness to flood every corner. They are like two hearts united in a beautiful melody of harmony, bringing pleasure and peace.
With Ammar by her side, Nadira now feels herself like a beetle dancing among the fragrant petals. He has found a place where he is accepted wholeheartedly, where love thrives and crosses boundaries that are considered impossible. Nadira's heart exuded an infinite amount of gratitude, like a light shining brightly on a dark night.
Through Ammar, Nadira learns that love is a precious gem that must be guarded and given with sincerity. He sees himself like a dancer who wiggles his body in the unforgettable melody of life. Each step of his illustrates gratitude that cannot be expressed in words, but can only be felt in the depths of the heart.
The sincerity and compassion of Ammar made Nadira feel that God is indeed Most Just. Ammar helped Nadira believe that every journey of life has its own meaning and wisdom. In the difficulties and darkness of the past, Nadira finds a light emanating from Ammar's heart.
While sitting in this tranquil garden, Nadira pondered how Ammar was the reason he felt blessed by God. Ammar has changed his life and made him understand that love and forgiveness are the keys to finding true peace.
With a grateful heart, Nadira went on to write in her little diary, saving every precious moment and reflection of life experienced. She knows that although the past may be dark, her life is now filled with love and happiness, thanks to the irreplaceable affection and acceptance of Ammar, her husband who is so precious to her.
Nadira felt his body as if it was being hit by an unexpected flash as Ammar suddenly appeared from behind. As fast as the lightning struck, he closed his book which held all the expressions of his heart. The look on her face turned clumsy, like a tailor who was seen sewing a cloth decorated with secrets.
"Ehem! There's something else to confide in, here!" said Ammar while throwing a smile and hugging Nadira warmly.
In this humiliating state, Nadira felt herself like a deer that was shocked by the rangers who suddenly emerged from the undergrowth. She flinched from her quiet world, feeling like a caretaker trying to shut the secret door of her soulful flower garden.
Nadira's face blushed like morning dew blowing in the wind, unable to bear the embarrassment that ambushed him. Like a tree in the sun, he was seen defenseless in front of Ammar. Ammar, who knew how flowery Nadira's heart was, now saw it open so wide in front of him.
"Appaan, anyway! I was talking to the kids again. Look at it, they are so happy to play here," said Nadira evaded.
Ammar took off his arms and now sat down beside Nadira. She held Nadira's hand gently and said, "My dear, listen to me, yes. No matter what happens, I will never let you be sad. That's a promise I have to keep since we were approved to be in a relationship. I'm so lucky to have me." Ammar looked at his beloved wife's face full of love.
Nadira smiled happily. "Yes, honey. Thank you very much, yes. Thank you for keeping that promise."
On the way of expressing gratitude through words, Nadira felt like a dancer who suddenly lost her stride. Like a choreographer who forgot his next move, he felt like the words that had leaped from his lips were now swirling in the air with no clear purpose.
The look in their eyes met and Nadira felt like a poet at a loss for beautiful words. All the yearning and appreciation he wanted to express had been held back behind the door of his heart, afraid of being dragged by the wind of excitement and slamming into the wall of his doubt.
Nadira felt in her a tinge of awkwardness, like an artist who looks unfiltered in front of an unexpected audience. He tried to find a way to deal with the situation, but like a writer stuck in the last paragraph that never finished, words just disappeared from his hands.
While Nadira was experiencing a wave of panic, Ammar only smiled gently. Like the sun illuminating the gray clouds, her smile calmed Nadira's raging heart. She reached out her hand and grabbed Nadira's hand, giving her the warmth and courage to continue her dance, even if her steps turned into nervous steps.
In the presence of Ammar, Nadira feels like a poet who finds new inspiration. He realized that unspoken words could be replaced by sincere touch and presence. Ammar, the translator of his heart, read it with understanding and compassion, without needing to look at the written words.
At that time, Nadira realized that in the presence of Ammar, the expression of gratitude is not only about words, but also about the presence and relationship they share. In her warm smile and loving eyes, Nadira felt an overflowing expression of gratitude from her heart, stronger than the words hidden in her book.
They looked at their two daughters with joy. Seeing his daughters smile and laugh, it adds to the spirit of Nadira and Ammar to be full parents, giving affection that can not be bought with money or anything. They will always try to take the time to get together, even though their two sons are struggling to finish their education. Because in a relationship, it takes the word compromise, cooperation, and mutual understanding. May we all be the best couple for each other and be the parents who continue to learn for our children.
