It's up to God

It's up to God
If Time Could Be Purchased

Every day, Nadira always counts the time, when her husband can deliver to her parents' house. Nadira is looking forward to seeing her mom, dad, and sister. The longing continued to peak, Nadira to the point of not being able to sleep well thinking about it.

"Why do you keep pacing, anyway, from earlier?" ammar asked, occasionally watching his wife. The focus is divided, between completing the work and paying attention to Nadira's movements.

Nadira sat on the sofa, then sulked at her husband.

"When are you off, huh? I really miss seeing my mom, dad, and Haikal" he said.

Ammar stopped his work and moved from his seat, approaching Nadira.

"My dear. You are patient, yes. I promise, if my work is done, we will definitely meet them" said Ammar, looking at his wife with a smile.

"Yes, but when?" ask Nadira, again.

Nadira is indeed a stubborn child, if there is a desire, it must be impatient. This is a trait that cannot be changed. Luckily, she had a husband who was very patient with her. So, their relationship, far from a quarrel that triggers emotions such as some conjugal relationships in general. When one of them makes a mistake, they apologize to each other, do not feel the most right because they have a commitment to understand each other, and lower the ego to avoid arguments.

"When time can be bought, maybe I will buy their busy time so that they can take the time to look at me," Nadira said with a wry face.

"You can't be like that. Sometimes they even make calls. At that time, Haikal also called, right? It just can't be long because really fitting we have an event in the pesantren." Ammar tried to make Nadira understand the current situation and conditions.

"If you're mom and dad, I'm used to being left out of childhood, but if you're Haikal, right, more time is spent on me. Ever since I got married, so stay away from gini. Anyway, why the hell, Brother Haikal does not live with us alone," said Nadira who continues to sulk.

"Honey. If Kak Haikal lives with us, how does Kak Haikal continue to work? Time to be left?" ammar.

"Kan Kak Haikal is the owner of the restaurant. So, you can take time off, that is. Anyway, there's no chef who can be trusted what to handle the restaurant as long as Kak Haikal is not there?" Nadira continued to grumble like a parrot who did not stop talking when spoken to.

"Maybe it's busy. You have patience, my dear. We'll meet Haikal later, yes. Mom and dad too. Or later we call them again, who knows in the near future, they are not busy anymore" said Ammar. The sentence seemed to be a sedative for the restlessness of Nadira's heart.

"Yes, deh. I follow what you say," said Nadira who is still lethargic.

"Yes already. Smile, dong, her husband's future, pout. If the cat mah, not a smile is also still sweet, but if you, not a smile mah like there is less," teased Ammar. His hand held the chin of his beloved wife.

Nadira blushed in shame. Finally the crescent moon rose from her beautiful face after a few hours.

"It could be you" Nadira said, covering her face. His smile was so dazzling, there was a special attraction when Nadira smiled. This is what made Ammar fall in love with Nadira.

...***...

In a room, Hafiz was studying with her friends. So seriously did he listen to Ustad Ammar who was Hafiz's father. Ammar's explanation can be well understood by Hafiz and the santri at Pesantren Al Fathonah. The Cairo students at Al Azhar University never fail. All who study there, must have succeeded in applying the knowledge obtained well.

During the pesantren even taught by his own father, Hafiz was never treated special by Ammar. Even if Hafiz did something wrong or the way he read the Quran was not right, Ammar guided him like a teacher and student. If wrong, say wrong. If true, Ammar appreciates all his santri.

"Thank God, today's material, we will suffice first, yes. See you in the next material," said Ammar ended the meeting learning about fikih today.

"What's up, Hafiz?" ask Ammar, smiling.

"Pa. How can I memorize the 30 juz Quran? Said my grandfather and mama, papa memorizing the 30 juz Quran," asked Ammar who was enthusiastic about learning.

"You want to be hafiz quran too?" ask Ammar, make sure.

"Yes. My name is Hafiz. My mom and dad gave me this name, because I wanted to be Hafiz Quran, right?" ask Hafiz.

"Son, even if your name is not Hafiz, we still pray for you. Not forcing you to hafiz the quran, but at least you can read the Quran correctly (according to tajwid) has made us proud, let alone khatam quran and so hafiz quran. This will add to our gratitude for having you" said Ammar.

"I want to be a godly child who can take mom and dad to Heaven. Let's meet together there, Pa."

"Masyaa Allah. Jazakallah khairan's. Papa is proud of you, son. A lot of changes happened after you stayed here. Emm, all you need to know is that we are all God willing to go to Heaven, but the path is determined by God."

"Wa iyaka's. Really, Pa?" The discussion grew louder, Hafiz's eyes rounded, his smile expanding. He was very enthusiastic about wanting to listen about the faction that entered Heaven. "There's a hadith, huh, Pa?" ask Hafiz. His spirit was like a fire doused in gasoline, growing smolder.

Ammar explained the hadiths and words of God about the inhabitants of Heaven.

The Hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari no.6851 from Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu anhu says that the Prophet Salallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said, "All my people will surely enter heaven, except the reluctant one."

The Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah, who is this reluctant man?"

He replied, "Whoever obeys me, must go to heaven and whoever disobeys me, then he is the one who refuses (does not want to go to heaven, pent)."

Hafiz nodded and still listened carefully to the explanation. Ammar reiterated a similar hadith.

From Anas RA, that the Prophet Salallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said, was cast out of hell the one who uttered and in his heart was a seed of goodness.

From Abi Said that the Messenger of Allah Salallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said, "If the master of heaven has gone to heaven and the expert of hell has gone to hell, then Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will say, 'The one in whose heart is a speck of faith, should be expelled. They also came out of hell.'"

From Abu Dharr, he said that Salallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam had said, "Had come to me the Angel Gabriel and given me glad tidings, that whoever dies among your people without associating with God, will surely go to heaven, though he despises and steals." The Prophet repeated twice.

Indeed there are many Quranic nash that states the inhabitants of heaven or hell are eternal. As Allah says in Surah An-Nisa (4) verse 14, "Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and transgresses His terms, and Allah will admit him into the fire of hell, and he will abide therein forever; and for him is a humiliating punishment."

Allah has said in Surah At-Taubah (9) verse 63, "Do they not (the hypocrites) know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, then verily Hell is for him, he remains in it. That's a big insult."

"Well, that's the brief explanation of who will be the inhabitants of Heaven" Ammar said.

Hafiz nodded while thinking. He was even more determined to continue learning; studying, even wanted to fly to Cairo like his father when he finished studying at Pondok Pesantren Al Fathonah.
