Long-Tailed Hit-Run Case

Ali is a man who cares deeply about his family. One day, his niece, Hafiz, becomes the victim of an accident on the highway. Hafiz was hit by an irresponsible biker. Ali, who was at the scene, immediately got angry and berated the perpetrator. He also took a picture of the license plate of the perpetrator as evidence because the culprit immediately escaped.

Ali, who felt innocent, defended herself.

"What are you talking about? I've never done anything like that to our family!" he said, looking at Ammar with annoyance because it had been slandered.

"Don't pretend, brother! I already know that you don't like me and Umi. Brother purposely did this to get revenge or what?" Ammar's impact this time made the entire hospital so pay attention to them.

Ali was upset about being slandered and not being acknowledged for his honesty.

"Already, Ammar. You're wrong big time. I don't like you guys, but I'll never do anything that could harm our family. Look at the license plate photo of the motor that hit Hafiz. This is proof that I'm innocent!" ali said while showing a photo of the motor plate taken.

"Already! Enough's enough! Why are you guys fighting like kids like this, anyway?" nadira said with tears. Then, his eyes fell on Ali. "Sister, what's going on? Who hit Hafiz?" nadira panicked.

"There was a person who hit Hafiz with a motor and immediately ran away. But I've taken a picture of the license plate as proof" Ali said, still showing the evidence.

"We must report this incident to the police immediately" suggested Lutfi, who wanted to seek justice for his grandson.

"True, we have to find out who the perpetrators are and take appropriate action on this issue" said Aisyah.

Ammar was silent for a moment after seeing the license plate number indicated by his brother.

"Alright, I'm sorry if I misjudged. But we have to find out who's behind all this. We have to take care of our families" Ammar said with a heavy sigh. It was as if there was a heavy burden on his shoulders. His head was also painful.

"Together we find out who did it. We must fight together to take care of our families. Maybe this has something to do with what happened in the pesantren," Ali said while keeping the phone back in his pants pocket.

After that, they rushed to the police station to report the incident and provide evidence to the authorities for further investigation.

Nadira was increasingly confused and worried about the events that befell his family. To him, all of this felt very strange and unreasonable. He felt sad and worried about Hafiz's condition, which is still being treated in hospital.

Nadira never thought that the one who did all this was Jerry. He thinks Jerry is at peace with his past and can accept the fact that Nadira is married and has children. "Do we have to report to the police?" ask Ammar. His eyes were on Nadira because all the decisions were in Nadira's hands.

"Yes, I'll gather the evidence I have and we'll take it to the police. He's gotta take responsibility for everything he's done." Nadira does not want to let Jerry's crimes continue. The decision is final.

"But remember, we should not rush and do something without sufficient evidence. We have to be patient and careful" Lutfi said.

"Let's be right, we have to gather enough evidence and not take careless actions" Aisyah said.

"I agree. We have to be careful and remain vigilant" Nadira said. His chest rumbled, but tried to remain calm.

Ammar hugged Nadira knowing that Nadira's heart was devastated to know all these truths.

After some time, armed with the evidence, the police finally managed to find the perpetrators of the hit-and-run and also managed to identify who is the mastermind of all this. They also managed to arrest the mastermind and bring him to court to be tried according to the applicable law.

Nadira is grateful that Hafiz has recovered from his injury and everything is back to normal. Lutfi was relieved that her family supported each other in difficult times. They hope that events like this do not happen again and invite the public to always be careful on the highway.
