It's up to God

It's up to God
Nadira and Amarah Ammar

Unbeknownst to Ammar, Nadira went to meet some of the students who yesterday picketed with Hafiz. Nadira is sure, if his son is not as careless it can slip just like that.

Nadira's pace was a little quick. It didn't take long, Nadira reached Hafiz's friends with a halting breath.

"Assalamualaikum, Deck. Can I have a chat for a second? There's something I want to ask you guys," he said.

"Waalaikumsalam, Ustazah," replied the santri who was a friend of Hafiz simultaneously.

"What do you want to ask, Ustazah?" ask Candra, curious.

"Yes, Ustazah. It seems like Ustazah is again worrying about something." Faiz.

"So, gini. Yesterday when you were picket, where did Hafiz fall?" ask Nadira.

Hafiz's fellow students as many as four people looked at each other. They seem to be talking inward. They also shrug each other's shoulders. I dare not speak the truth.

"No one wants to be honest with Ustazah Nadira?" Nadira lured the four students to talk honestly about the chronology of Hafiz fell. Maybe for some people, it's trivial, but not for Nadira. Nor is it excessive, but Nadira's premonition is not good and he does not want to make bad prejudices, worried instead become slander. That's why he wanted to hear directly from the students who were scheduled to picket yesterday with Hafiz.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in Quran letter Al Hujarat verse 12 says,

"O you who believe! Stay away from prejudice, indeed some prejudices are sins and do not look for the faults of others and do not be among you who gossip some others. Do any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Of course you feel disgusted. And fear Allah, verily, Allah is Most Recipient, Most Merciful."

Quoted from the book 'Learning Aqidah Akhlak' by Muhammad Asroruddin Al Jumhuri that huznuzan is one of noble behavior, namely being well-thought. This attitude has a person's perspective to see things positively, so that his heart and mind are clean from prejudice that is not necessarily the truth.

The attitude of husnuzan can be broadly divided into three types, namely husnuzan to God, to oneself, and to fellow humans. Husnuzan to Allah means to prejudge Allah as Robbul 'Alamin, as creator, preserver, who has all the majesty and there is no shortage. Husnuzan towards oneself is kind to self-suffering, for example persistent, unyielding, and patient. Lastly, husnuzan towards others is always thinking positively to others.

According to Shaykh Abdullah Ibn Alwi al-Hadad, the criterion of good thinking is when we believe in the absence of evil in the deeds and words of others. Although in fact, other people have evil intentions, then we must still be kind enough to think that others can repent.

"Yesterday when again mopping on the terrace of the room santri, there is a banana peel. When we shouted, Hafiz had stepped on the skin of his banana, Ustazah," said Jaka.

Nadira was shocked to hear the statement. Nadira was surprised, why there is a banana peel. Though to his knowledge, the pesantren environment there is never any other garbage, other than leaves and twigs. Nadira suspected that someone deliberately threw away the banana skin so that his son fell. Nadira continues to investigate, who dares to hurt his son.

"Do you mean that the banana peel is there or is someone throwing it?" tanyakanya.

"We saw someone throwing his banana skin at Hafiz, Ustazah, but do not know who," replied Jaka and justified by the others.

"Astaghfirullahal 'adziim." Nadira covered her mouth with both hands. "Who dares to do it, huh? If the child santri, it seems impossible. You're taught to keep clean." Nadira wondered.

"We also just this time saw something so idle, Ustazah," said Candra.

"Yes, I said it first, yeah. Thanks for the information. Assalamu'alaikum." Nadira said in a hurry.

...***...

In a room, Ammar thought the same thing when Nadira told him about it. Moreover, Ammar saw the shadow of someone from outside the UKS while checking the noise that stopped their conversation that afternoon.

Nadira and Ammar thought hard. Then, there was the sound of someone knocking on the door. They told the man to come in.

"What's wrong?" ask Ammar.

"Sorry, Mr. Ustad, if I disturb you. Mr. Kiai asked me to call Mr. Ustad. Waiting in his room," said a santri named Candra.

"Yes. Thanks, yeah, Candra. I'll be there later" said Ammar.

"Sister. I can be patient if Big Brother does not like the existence of me and Umi Aisyah. I can accept that Brother hurt me, but I will never accept that the one who was hurt was my son, Umi Aisyah, abi, and my wife," said Ammar, sighing for a moment. "I beg you brother, please never bring Hafiz with our problems. Hafiz is still a child, brother. He has no idea what happened." Ammar added his words. The face is red.

"Abi doesn't know what's on your mind, Ali. Abi just did not think, if you did it, why can you have this evil intention? Hafiz is your own nephew" said Lutfi, shaking his head. Lutfi was disappointed with Ali.

"This is why, try. Accusing without solid evidence is tantamount to slander!" ali said, refusing to be blamed. "In part, just a small wound, even exaggerated this way," he continued.

"What's? Brother said it was just a small wound? Now Hafiz is injured by a banana peel, but tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or when, you could do something worse than this!" said Ammar who had gone out of control. His tone could no longer be reduced.

Aisyah was silent because she did not want to make the atmosphere worse. While Nadira, is thinking and analyzing all the information obtained.

"God! Ali's! That's enough ...!" said Lutfi who suddenly sat down. His heart hurts.

"Astaghfirullahal. Abi ...!" aisyah said while helping her husband sit down. Then give a glass of drinking water that Nadira took from a water dispenser that was deliberately provided in the room.

Seeing their abi like that, Ammar and Ali blamed each other. Nadira stopped the quarrel between her husband and sister-in-law.

"God! Brother Ali! What are you guys doing, anyway? Don't act like a little gini. I'm Hafiz's mother, but come to think of it, Kak Ali has a point. We can't accuse people without hard evidence.

"The evidence is there, Nad. Someone saw Kak Ali was there when our son slipped. If he's not the one who deliberately threw away the banana peel, then who's trying?" Ammar pointed at Ali's face with his finger.

Nadira let out a short breath for a moment.

"Quiet, Honey. Emotions will never solve problems. I'm sure you know his religion better than I do. Moreover, you have studied in Cairo to deepen science. Resist your anger because when angry, the devil will have a chance to control ourselves. So, I'm asking you to calm down" Nadira said. Anyway, anyway, you guys are brothers. Sisters. It shouldn't be fighting like this" he continued.

"Your wife is smarter than you, Mar," Ali said.

Ammar beristighfar's.

"It's also what Nadira says," said Lutfi. "Origin! Please be honest with all of us, what did you do when it happened?" ask Lutfi. His eyes focused on his first son.

Ali told me what he was doing at the time. Everyone listened to Ali's explanation. But on the sidelines of the anger of Ammar and Lutfi to Ali, suddenly there were two santri who gave news that someone sent a letter to Nadira and Ammar.

At the entrance gate of the pesantren, it is deliberately given a mailbox because there are some agencies or others who often send information through expedition services. In addition, pesantren also subscribe to one of the newspaper print media so as not to miss information outside the pesantren.

They opened the contents of the letter written with all capital letters. The letter was written with a drop of blood.

"NADIRA! AMMAR! YOU TWO MUST BE SURPRISED TO SEE THE WRITING ON THIS LETTER MIXED WITH BLOOD. YOU MUST ALSO BE THINKING ABOUT WHO INTENDS TO HARM YOUR CHILD. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. WAIT FOR THE NEXT GAME!"

"What's up, Ammar? The faces of the two of you look so anxious," asked Lutfi.

"Someone wants to mess with us, Abi. Hafiz is a weapon to hurt me and Nadira" Ammar replied. He looked at Ali.

"Why do you look at me with such a sharp look?" tanga Ali, upset.

Nadira held Ammar's shoulder and closed his eyes while shaking his head— gave the code so that his beloved husband was not provoked by emotions anymore.

Finally, they will be more careful that there are no events similar or more severe than Hafiz. Because if it's not Ali, it could be someone else they don't know who it is. Nadira and Ammar felt that there had never been an enemy in their lifetime.
