Nadira was surprised to see the contents of the gift from Ammar. While the others smiled to see the look on Nadira's face that looked confused.
"This, for me?" nadira asked, innocently, with mixed feelings; confused, moved, and pleased.
"Yes, Nad. Wh why? Don't like it, do you?" ask Ammar.
"Ihh, that's not what it means" said Nadira, noticing the small circle in the clear box in his hand.
Nadira's mother starts teasing.
"If you don't want to, the ring's just for mama." Fenny laughed a little.
"Mama what, anyway? Kan Kak Ammar loved it for me," said Nadira who immediately opened the small box and wore his ring.
Ammar gave the ring not only as a gift, but as a binding symbol for their relationship as a potential husband and wife.
While talking about the wedding plans of Nadira and Ammar, suddenly look in the eyes of Nadira towards a man who was sturdy and tall who still did not move from his seat. All the spectators left the room. A man who is no stranger to Nadira.
Haikal followed the eyes of his beloved sister and saw the man Nadira was looking at. Old wounds are flaking. That man was the one who had existed in Nadira's past. Everyone was aware of Jerry. The man who once scratched the wound in Nadira's heart is now in front of Nadira and Ammar and their families.
Nadira tried to calm down but his mind wondered inwardly, "Why can he be here? Come when I've forgotten it."
One more step, Jerry stood—right in front of Nadira. From the raw look on his face, there was regret in sight. Haikal tried to prevent Jerry from talking to his sister because there was nothing more to talk about. However, the forgiving Nadira gives Jerry a chance to talk. Either made of what the hearts of women graduates of this Bachelor of Literature. Although someone hurt, he had absolutely no sense of vengeance.
Jerry is collecting a fitting diction to apologise to Nadira and his family. Ammar, who does not have the rights to Nadira, just silent and even invite his parents to go home first. However, Nadira turned to Ammar who stood to his left, giving the code to his future husband so as not to leave the room. Ammar nodded.
Leaving without a word, makes Jerry apologize again because he still has not calmed down before Nadira really forgives him.
"Nad. For what happened last time, I'm really sorry. I am a coward. Not having the courage to tell the truth to you. In fact, my fault was making you a lover when I still had a future wife and also never being open about my life. Especially the faith I hold. It's very sensitive to talk about, but that doesn't mean I'm casually hiding my true identity. So, please ..., I'm sorry!" pinta Jerry by putting his hands together.
Nadira is still tight-lipped.
Jerry's gaze moved towards Haikal.
"Sister is the person closest to Nadira. Please tell him to forgive me! Please ...." Jerry's eyes glazed over. It is clear that his sincerity in admitting mistakes.
"Frankly, I'm very disappointed in you, but .. Really, I can't help you persuade Nadira. I appreciate whatever the decision is because my little brother is mature enough to decide something." Haikal smiled and held onto Nadira's shoulder.
"Good, Brother! Thank you for ever allowing me to get to know Nadira more closely, even though our relationship started from a lie and ended in a disappointment that hurt Nadira so much." Jerry tried to wipe away the tears that were about to drip.
Jerry also apologizes to Nadira's parents. Sultan and Fenny forgive Jerry's actions. It's just, Nadira is still tight-lipped. He was forced to open a page of history that he no longer wanted to read. However, however, from the disappointment that occurs, a lot of learning is obtained.

A few minutes later, the mouth that had been accidentally locked was now opened.
"You are not entirely guilty, I apologize for being too hasty in accepting your love, for not having time to figure out your identity" Nadira sighed for a moment. Then continue his words. "Moreover, my presence is only to be the destroyer of your relationship with Farah. Perhaps true, love is blind. Until everyone is always lulled with romance stories. For that, we forgive each other, yes. Forget everything and rise up for a better future. May happiness always be with us."
Everything was moved by the words of wisdom that came out of Nadira's mouth to pray from the girl who likes rain and twilight.
"Thank you, Nad. Thank you very much. Then I can go quietly."
Jerry's words raised new questions in Nadira's mind. He frowned, the mind wondering about Jerry's last statement.
"Go away quietly? What do you mean, Jer?" ask Nadira.
"Yes, Nad. Today I will fly to Singapore in search of a new atmosphere. Pray for me, yes. I hope to find a girl like you."
Jerry's statement grew wider and more confusing.
"Huh? Where's Farah going, Jer?"
"We decided to end the relationship, one day after your departure."
"In a moment, I'm getting confused. So, you guys are no longer in a relationship and that means you are currently, single, is that it?" Nadira's question is increasingly hunting. Eyebrows up.
"Yes, Nad. We have lived each other's lives because after living it, there is no match between the two of us. Farah also found a man who loved her very much. He's married."
Nadira really did not expect with the storyline experienced so far. Is this what we call a plot twist in life? I don't know! Man can only carry out the destiny that has been written in the book of Lauh Mahfuz.
"You're patient, yeah. May God give you the best soul mate."
Then Nadira did not forget to introduce her future husband to Jerry. Both of them seemed ordinary, there was no jealousy or how. Everything looks fine. Jerry congratulates his ex-girlfriend and passes by as soon as he has to get ready to fly overseas tonight.
Forgiving people who have incised wounds in the heart is one form of maturity. Also to reconcile the heart and maintain mental health, this is the right way for it. Accepting circumstances, forgiving yourself, and starting a life with positive things in the absence of thoughts that cause inner wounds to reoccur. That's what Nadira did. Wise and mature after suffering a tremendous inner wound.
"Problems are the greatest test in the school of life and it is from this that we can learn many things about the science of life. Thank you for being the best teacher in this school of life."
Nadira closes her phone after typing the sentence. They also left the historic building that became one of the witnesses to Nadira's life journey.
