After thinking long, Nadira can make her husband leave the job that had been in the business. Not to kill the husband's dream, but Nadira wants there is always a blessing in his family's life.
While preparing breakfast for her son and husband, Nadira's phone rang. Nadira saw the contact's name, "Sister". As if called by the idol, Nadira looks excited. Before picking up the phone, Nadira asked her husband for permission to pick up Haikal's phone after finishing preparing breakfast for his beloved family.
Nadira leaves her husband and son at the dinner table, then goes to the back porch of the house. Nadira sat by the pool.
"So why are you calling Nadira now, anyway?" nadira asked, who immediately forgot to say hello.
"Assalamualaikum, Nadira," said Haikal.
Nadira patted his forehead.
"Oh yeah, forgot to say hello. Sorry, Sis. Greetings wa'alaikum, my dear brother," he replied.
"You are this, yes. Hasn't changed either. Really happy with your handsome brother, huh? Hayo, think big brother keeps sure. It's because his brother never called again, he didn't even have time to play again to your house," said Haikal who still likes to tease his sister.
"Iss, what a puck, anyway. The narcissist never goes away anyway" Nadira said.
"Well, if you don't miss your brother, your brother will call you." Haikal is always anxious with his sister if again upset or sulking.
"That's not the concept either, sister!" It sounded from the tone of Nadira's speech which became a little higher if she was upset with her brother who continued to tease her.
"The concept continues how, Princess Nadira who is God willing, physically beautiful and her heart?" ask Haikal from the other end of the phone.
"Udah, ah. Don't need to discuss. Brother when are you playing here again?" nadira asked expectantly.
"God willing, next week, I'm going there. My mom and dad also said they wanted to come. Incidentally they again take a week off work, so want to be used for a vacation there. The same grandchildren, he said," Haikal replied.
"So what mom-papa said, just his granddaughter, right? I'm not kangeni?" Again Nadira sulked when he heard a statement from his brother.
"Definitely kangen, dong, my dear sister. What's the matter, you know? Keep scolding. His name also has grandchildren, so the affection of our parents, for his grandchildren as well. Later when Hafiz is old and married, then have children, you will feel it too, really." Haikal gave understanding to his sister in order to be more mature, especially now Nadira is married and has children. So it must reduce and even eliminate the childish attitude.
"Yes, deh. You guys haven't had any news in a long time. Especially the mama-papa, keep busy, deh. I miss you guys" Nadira said with a bent face.
"Yes. Brother is wrong and represents mama-papa, sister is sorry, yes. We'll be there as a cure. Now don't sulk anymore. Shame on Hafiz" said Haikal.
"Oh yeah, you want to talk to Hafiz?" ask Nadira.
"Can. Brother wants to talk to Ammar, can you? It has been a long time since communication," Haikal said.
"Wait a minute, brother. Don't turn off the phone, I'll go inside first. It's me on the back porch." Nadira rushed to the dining room. The husband and son had finished breakfast. Now it is in the family room.
"It turns out you're here. Kirain is still having breakfast" Nadira said with a smile. His steps stopped when he was about to approach Ammar and Hafiz, but suddenly his feet tripped.
"Of ...!" Nadira complained while looking at the cause of his legs tripped and almost fell. Fortunately Nadira is always alert to the situation and conditions that will occur, so his body is immediately balanced so as not to fall down when his legs stumble. It turned out that one of Hafiz's toys was thrown near the sofa.
Ammar and Hafiz stared at each other. They thought there would be an earthquake at home. They were ready to listen to the babble from Nadira who was like a parrot when he spoke.
Nadira sat in front of Ammar and Hafiz who had been holding some of Hafiz's toys.
"Hafiz. Mama has often said to you, can play, but cleaned up again," said Nadira.
"Hafiz hasn't finished playing yet, Ma" replied Hafiz. His eyes glanced at the papa, hoping for a defense.
"Yes, Ma. What Hafiz said. Later also when it's finished, Hafiz must have cleaned the toys. Kan Hafiz is a smart kid. Without being asked, Hafiz will definitely settle" said Ammar, defending the child.
"But next time, the toys don't get to the door like this. It's dangerous, if Mama later fell down, kept mama's head leaking or there are other injuries, how? It's a danger, baby." Nadira always had his own way of providing education to his son. Especially when something happens, as has just been experienced, Nadira hopes her son can understand what message to convey. Of course Hafiz was very understanding because of the intelligence of his son, very extraordinary.
Due to a family drama, Nadira forgets that she is still on the phone with her sister; haikal.
"Oh yeah, mom forgot, right. This is Uak¹ you want to talk." Nadira gives her cell phone to the child.
"Assalamualaikum wa rahatulli wa barakatuh, Uak. What is kabal (news)?" ask Hafiz, smiling. From his tone, Haikal could confirm that his nephew was very happy to receive a call from him.
"Waalaikumsalam wa rahatulli wa barakatuh, Hafiz. Uak news, fine. You how?" haikal.
"Me, well. When are you going to play here?" ask Hafiz with a accent like children in general. Although his speech is not smooth, but Hafiz is a child who is fast in learning to write, read, and speak.
"God willing, Uak, his grandfather, and grandmother Hafiz will play at Hafiz's house next week" Haikal said.
"Brank ...! That means our house will be crowded, Ma, Pa? I want to play the same uak, grandfather, and grandmother," said Hafiz who immediately stood up and jumped up and down because of excitement.
"Hafiz! Just sit down, son. Let's not fall." Nadira tries to avoid the word "do not" in educating her children, although sometimes forget when out of control. However, Nadira and Ammar always try to educate their children well.
In parenting (how to educate children), we must avoid the word "do not" to children. As written in several sites, including popmama.com from Duafa Wallet, the use of the word "don't" can be confusing to children when they hear orders from parents. The use of the word "do not" in parenting is also considered less effective because children are often not able to absorb what is meant by parents as a whole. In addition, the use of the word "don't" on your child should be replaced with other words with simple and easy to understand language. Although it seems difficult enough that we as parents need patience in this case because all need a process, not just protests that can harm some parties, both parents, and children.
The process of educating children is indeed a job that cannot be abandoned, so it needs to be done continuously as the development and growth of the child. Especially as parents, fathers and mothers have an important role as the first place children learn. Of course, there will be many obstacles, but the key is to be patient and sincere in order to be able to issue certain words to make children behave more conducive.
Hafiz sat back down and continued his conversation with his money; haikal—kakak from his mother Hafiz. Who else if not Nadira's brother.
"Hafiz has a lot of toys, later we play baleng (bareng) huh, Uak?" pinta Hafiz, cheerful. I can't wait to meet my mom's family.
"Yes, honey .., we will play, yes," replied Haikal who showed a sweet smile from the end of the phone. "Oh yeah, you asked for help, okay?" ask Haikal who wants to end his conversation with his first nephew.
"Byeah" replied Hafiz.
"Uak want to talk to papa, can his cellphone be given to papa Hafiz?" pinta Haikal, speaking carefully so that Hafiz does not feel that he is tired of hearing the babble from Hafiz, to make his nephew sad.
"OK, Uak. I gave her hp to papa, yeah!" Hafiz also gave the phone to the father.
"Assalamualaikum, Brother. Yes, Brother. What's up?" ask Ammar.
"Girishalah, Ammar. Always healthy, yes. I heard from Nadira, if you want to leave your job to be an artist and finally grant Abi Lutfi orders to help take care of Al Fathonah School, yes?" ask Haikal who wants to hear the story directly from his sister-in-law.
"Really, Brother. After I thought about it, it's good that I participate in taking care of the cottage. If I am an artist, I rarely get together with my family. Especially when I have an art exhibition outside the city even abroad, can be counted with the fingers, when the time berkumpil with Nadira and Hafiz who now still need the role of father in educating him." Ammar's answer made Haikal more convinced that his sister-in-law was the best male figure for Nadira. From the background of the Ammar family, very good. Likewise with the personality of Ammar, there is no doubt, deh.
"Masyaa Allah. My brother was moved to hear it. From the beginning, you were convinced that you were a wise man. That's why you've got to marry Nadira" Haikal said, amazed.
"Alhamdulillah. Thank you very much, brother. God willing, I will always give my best to this little family. Thank you for your trust in giving up your responsibilities to keep Nadira to me" said Ammar, full of days.
"Yes. Brother also thanks a lot yes, already want to take care of Nadira well. Yes, my brother still has work, no. Brother hang up the phone. See you next week, yes," Haikal closed the conversation with a greeting.
In life, we have the right to choose what is best to live, but must remember with Islamic sharia, which can and should not be done. Because good according to us, not necessarily good according to God. So, before deciding something or stepping, you should think first so as not to regret later on. Although some obstacles that will be faced in the future, whether reality does not match our expectations, the key is to be sure and always involve God in everything in order to always get blessings in life.
