"Abra, can papa come in!"
"Please pa!" abra was polite, when Haykal came to see him at the office.
Haykal went into Abra's study. Since Abra came out of Abimata's house. Father and son relationship is getting further away. Abra almost never came to Abimata's house. If Abra wanted to meet Ardi. Abra will meet Ardi outside Abimata's house. As much as possible Abra avoided coming to Abimata's house. All for the sake of keeping the heart and feelings of Dewun. Although Dewun never forbade or asked Abra, not to come to Abimata's house.
"Is there anything papa came to see me? There's a problem with the company!"
"Why Abra? For almost a month we did not meet. When we meet for the first time. Not asking papa, you're worried about the company!" haykal said softly and in disbelief.
Abra looked down, clearly feeling guilty. Unknowingly Abra had drowned Haykal. But somehow Abra couldn't open her heart deeper to Haykal? Every word that came out of Haykal, always cornered Dew and left a wound in Abra's heart. It was that shadow that made Abra too afraid to try to warm up with Haykal.
"I'm sorry, if I misspoke. But papa's arrival at the office. I thought I'd just discuss the work!"
"If not at the office, where should I meet you? Since you married that woman. You never cared about papa again. You used to be always family-minded. Now in your life there is only him. The woman who keeps you away from family. Forgetting old relationships, for the sake of new ones!"
"Papa, this is the reason I've always shied away from papa. Every time we meet, papa just corners and blames Dew for no reason. Although never once did Dew offend papa or my other family!"
"For he has made us go further!" suhut Haykal was upset, Abra shook her head weakly.
"Growing is not like that. He always wanted to bring me closer to you. Instead, it was me who had not had time to come see you guys!"
"How many hours do you need to come to our house? Until you feel like there is no time. Unless, your time is consumed by the presence of that woman!"
"Papa, that woman has a name. She's dumping my wife, daughter-in-law and future mother of my children!" abra said loudly, Haykal smiled cynically.
"Don't care, what's his name? One thing papa believes. He's the reason our relationship is getting so far!" said Haykal cynically, Abra silently lowered her head. He held up his chin with both hands.
"Here you go, I'm tired of arguing with papa. The reason for papa's hatred of Dew makes no sense. As long as I'm married to Dewun, never once did she insult or demean papa. On the contrary during my marriage to Dewun, papa always blamed and demeaned Dewun. Even today, when papa finds out who Dew actually is?"
"He may be a descendant of the powerful Adijaya, but that reason increasingly makes papa hate Dewun. Papa doesn't want you to be humbled by them!"
"Fathers don't have to worry, they're not petty-minded papas. They don't care about the difference in status between me and Dewun. They only care about my happiness and the Dew. Not like papa who is always looking for Dew errors. For the sake of maintaining Papa's real worthless self-esteem!" abra said a little loudly, Haykal inflamed.
Braaakkk
"Abra, watch your talk. I'm the one who raised you!"
"The father, who continued to corner me, blamed me for the marriage I had chosen. Just once, pa, understand Abra's happiness. Do not be selfish by continuing to think papa is the most right. Sometimes papa misjudges, especially papa's opinion of Dew!"
"Dear Lord Haykal, I'm sorry if I interjected. But your words do not deserve to be spoken from the lips of a wise father. I tried to be quiet, giving in to my husband's calmness. But my understanding seems to be in vain. If a father like you continues and continues to disturb the peace of his son's heart!"
"Please, how dare you interrupt my words!"
"Obviously I'm entitled, because the woman who has been the reason for your argument is me. There is a right as a child to defend my family's dignity. There is an obligation as a perfectly created being, to defend my pride. Every word is inappropriate for you, not the form of a father's affection or longing for his child. Instead, your words are nothing more than jealousy-based hatred!"
"Shut up!" said Haykal loudly, Abra immediately walked toward the Dew. Abra stretched out both hands. Hoping to become a fortress that protects the Dew from Haykal's wrath.
"So step aside, today is not the Dew son-in-law of the Abimata family speaking. I stood up against a man who never valued me as a woman. Although she was actually aware that she had been born from the womb of a woman!" said Dewun while brushing Abra's hand slowly.
"Darling, you don't have to be hooked. Remember your pregnancy!"
"For the sake of my son I will fight, that he may be proud to be born of the womb of a strong woman. He was born as a son who valued women. Not insulting a woman's self-esteem with the advantages and strengths she has!"
"Darling!" abra said, Dew immediately spread his hands right on Abra's face. The Dew signal did not want to see Abra continue to forbid it.
"Look at your wife's attitude. This kind of woman you keep defending. Women who don't appreciate older people!" said Haykal cynically, Dew smiled.
"Instead of Mr. Haykal, I behave like this. So that you understand, if as low as people without wealth. Much lower people like you. The one who never dared to admit his defeat!"
"You!" said Haykal, while pointing towards Dewun.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Haykal, if my words offend your pride. But it's enough you consider my pride low. I was born of a legitimate marriage. I'm a good family descendant and I know my religion very well. Now, if you want to find out why your son is staying away. It wasn't all because of my incitement or words. But your son who feels comfortable living with me and not the family who never cared about his tears and loneliness!"
"Grow up, remember your limits!" haykal said loudly with full of emotion.
"Why are you angry? Are you embarrassed to hear how bad your attitude and behavior are? Honestly, Mr. Haykal, once I tried to separate you from Abra's brother. At that very moment, you will lose your proud son. Because he realized, with whom did he feel calm? Where will he feel comfortable? Learn mature master, before your childish attitude further distances you!"
"Enough!" yelled Haykal loudly.
"Sister Abra, go home with Mr. Haykal. Stay there for a few days. I don't want to be accused of ruling you. Although I haven't done it once!"
"No dear, I can't!" sahut Abra was firm, Haykal turned his head with a look of disbelief.
"At least do it to maintain my pride!" said the final Dew, Abra immediately nodded slowly.
"Mr Haykal, admitting defeat is indeed difficult. It would be much harder, however, if the master never admitted to being wrong. Because it's not just one relationship that will be lost. But all relationships will be destroyed if based on selfishness and win alone. Don't let, in your weapon age, you're alone without anyone?" he said Embun firmly out of Abra's workspace.
