DEW PURITY

DEW PURITY
Valuable Gift

A week or so ago, Dewun did not meet with Abra. Since that night, the two have stayed away a little. Unknowingly, Dew said a word that made Abra hurt. There was pain in Abra's heart. When the tiny lips of Dew called out the name of another man. A call that Dew uttered in his unconscious.

"Abra, ten more minutes of meeting begins. Remember Abra, this is an important meeting. Don't make any mistakes!" Haykal rinses Abra's daydream.

Almost twenty minutes later, Abra sat daydreaming in his chair. Abra recalled the bitter memories of that night. Abra counts every second he passes without a Dew. Abra really did not expect, if all will be revealed on that long night. Haykal who came without notice. Seeing his proud son. A silence so clearly revealed the frailness of his first son.

"When was papa in my room?"

"Since you sighed, recalling your insignificant memories with that woman!" Haykal said cynically, Abra stared intently at Haykal.

"She's my wife!"

"Wife under your hands, a wife who would not be worthy of your company!"

"Father enough, dump my rightful wife. I admit she's my wife. We are still married religiously. But all that was enough to make me answer to him. Just waiting for time, Dewun became my legal wife religiously and legally!" Abra said loudly and firmly. Haykal was inflamed, he walked over to Abra.

Braaakkk

Both hands slammed into Abra's desk. Haykal's anger was obvious. It was as if Abra's words had provoked his anger. With red eyes, Haykal looked at Abra. Shows how angry Haykal heard Abra's words.

"Whatever she's got to do with you. Today's collaboration must be achieved. Remember Abra, your obligation keeps our company stable. Even for all that, there must be something you pay for!"

"What does papa mean? Why should I take responsibility for the cooperation this morning!"

"Because this morning, not only will there be cooperation. But there will be a match between you and my best friend's daughter!" Haykal said, Abra shook her head in disbelief.

"I'm married, there will never be any matchmaking. If papa wants to be their besan. Papa still has one son, he is much more deserving of being the son of your pride!" Reject Abra out loud, then walk past Haykal.

Abra was about to leave his room. Enough of the unimportant debate. There's no point in arguing, for something that's finally clear. Abra Achmad Abimata is no longer alone. There is a Dew that is now his wife. Even though that status is far from perfect. Abra's heartache is not the beginning of a doubt. But the beginning of a struggle for love that must be achieved. Winning Dew's heart, is much more important. Rather than continue to lament the rejection that Abra felt.

"Until when will you survive Abra? Obviously the woman rejected you. Your daydream that you saw, clearly shows how much he hurt your heart. You're my son, I can feel the uneasiness of your heart. The woman keeps her distance from you. She's nothing more than an ungrateful woman!" Haykal said cynically, Abra suddenly stopped his steps.

Abra's hands clenched tightly, his anger peaked and his blood boiled. Abra couldn't believe it, Haykal was able to talk that hard. The woman who continued to insult Haykal, was none other than the son-in-law of his choice. Although Haykal was Abra's real father. It is not appropriate that the insult was thrown from Haykal. Abra is really angry, if he forgets the status of the relationship between them. Abra had long since punched Haykal in the face.

"Father!" Call Abra in a high tone.

Haykal gasped at Abra's angry call. Slowly he turned his body. Haykal looked at the son who always made him proud. Abra's two eyes are perfectly rounded. Haykal was stunned, clearly he saw anger as well as pain. For a moment Haykal was stunned, when he realized his son's two eyes looked sad. Haykal felt something strange, his heart felt pained.

"What's the matter Abra? Why are you staring at me like that? Or your few months relationship with that woman. Makes you forget about our years of relationship. You know him, but you know him for a long time. Forgetting all the relationships that ever existed between us!"

"Father, I've never forgotten our relationship. But the more I know you. Now the more I realize, papa will never understand me. It's not me who forgets papa, but papa who dumped me. Papa forgot how to erase my sadness. Papa never calms my anxiety. Papa forgot about me, the son you never expected. The son born of the village woman!"

Plaaakkk

"Let's talk Abra!" Haykal said with anger. Right after a slap landed on Abra's cheek.

"This is the reality, papa. I'm far from you, when papa decided to marry a woman as great as Madame Indira. I was left out, when Ibra was born to complete papa's happiness. I disappeared and was cast away, when Naura was present to be the perfector of papa's little family. From childhood until now, I have never felt a caress. I'm starting to forget the warm touch of your hand. Even today, when I need papa's support and understanding. Papa easily hurt my heart. I'm more aware, papa never knew me. Papa would never want to see me happy!"

"Abra!" Haykal said softly, clearly visible regret in Haykal's heart. Abra's inner voice, weak in the strength of his son. Now it was clearly in front of both of his eyes. Haykal realized, there would be such a long distance between them.

"Thank you, papa's trying to see me happy. But believe me, that's not my happiness. I don't know what I feel about Dew? But I'm sure papa, she's the woman that makes your son comfortable. Even though I am sick of accepting his rejection. But he will also cure her. The woman of my heart's choice. If papa can't accept him as his dream son-in-law. Accept her as a small gift to me!" Abra said, then put his hands in front of Haykal.

Haykal looked at Abra in disbelief. He's always seen the cold Abra. Never once did he see the weak Abra. But right in front of him, Abra raised a hand at him. Abra asks for something that even Abra can easily get. Haykal continued to stare at Nilar Abra. It was as if he did not believe in the fragile nature of the son.

"What are you doing?" Haykal did not understand.

"Today's Abra's birthday, since long ago until now you may forget it. But today I reminded papa. I asked you for a small gift. Never insult my wife. The woman who made me feel perfect. Realize that I've been empty all this time!"

"It's not your birthday in a few days!" Haykal said, Abra smiled cynically. Abra lowered her hand, then walked away from Haykal. Right in front of the door, when Abra's hand held the door algae. Abra turned towards Haykal who was standing glued.

"Even my birthday, papa never knew it!" Abra lirih.

Kreeeeekkkk

"Darling, since when are you standing here?" Abra said, Dew fell silent and then looked down. He saw a lunch box in his hand.

"I just want to drop this off. Excuse me, I have an appointment soon!" Sahut Dewun, Abra pulled Dew hand. When the Dew thrust the lunchbox he brought.

"We're gonna eat this together. Now I'll drive you!"

"No need!" Reject the Dew, shaking his head.

"Why?" Abra was disappointed.

"You're busy, you better stay here. If I have time before I go home. I'll let you know!"

"You're ashamed to walk with me!" Abra said, Dew shook his head.

"Your responsibilities are far greater, than to accompany me!"

"All right, I'll be waiting for you. Don't ever let me down!" Abra said, Dew nodded slowly.

"Assalammualaikum!" Dew said, then kissed the back of Abra's hand. Dew nodded slowly towards Haykal. A warm greeting to his father-in-law.

"He's the woman who's always been a despicable father. The woman who never expected more from your son. He's always giving up, for your sake my family!" Abra said softly, a word that struck Haykal's heart.

"Thank you, for remembering my important day. The most precious gift I have ever received!" Inner Abra when opening the dining box that Dew gave.
