"Abra, why isn't the Dew coming down?" Said Ardi, when he saw Abra down by himself without Dew.
Abra sat down at the dining table. Abra himself was astonished by Dewun's attitude. Since last night, the Dew looks restless. Even in sleep the Dew delirious. It was as if there was a heavy burden he was thinking about. Abra tried to calm the Dew, but the Dew was like a cold morning dew. In the cold there is a cold that freezes. Therefore Abra can only see, without being able to grasp the Dew that is actually fragile.
"Abra!" Calling Ardi, Abra turned with a flat face.
"I don't know grandpa, since last night the Dew looks restless. When I brought him down, he refused. Dew just sat quietly by the window!"
"You guys fought!" Said Ardi worriedly, Abra shook his head slowly.
"Then!"
"Come grandpa!" Sahut Abra, while chewing food. Haykal who had been silent since, smiled happily at a glance. He seemed happy to see Abra and Dewun dispute. In contrast to Indira who seemed to understand the dispute between Abra and Embun.
"Women are like a mystery box. If you can find the answer, he doesn't want you to know. Conversely, if you can't guarantee it. Maybe he wants you to care about him. Women are not understood with the mind, but with the heart. Ask your heart, what is going on with Dew? Surely, you will know. Because your hearts are adrift!" Indira said, Abra silently listened to Indira's explanation.
"I wonder, what does Dew have? Until you care so much about him. Just once he was silent, it was as if this house was about to collapse!"
"Instead of Haykal, what's the reason you hate Dew so much?" Sahut Ardi, Haykal immediately lowered his head.
"Whoever will be papa's enemy? If he's not in line with his thinking!" Ibra said, Haykal immediately looked with anger at Ibra.
"Jaga talk about you Ibra. There are limits in every word!" Haykal said, Ibra nodded slowly.
"Beyond papa, there are limits in acting. Never do something that makes your honor go away!"
"What do you mean Ibra?" Said Ardi, Ibra gave a file to Ardi.
Ardi carefully read the contents of the file given Ibra. When Ardi's eyes bulged, Ardi did not believe the contents of the file in his hand. Ardi turned his head towards Haykal, Ardi's gaze full of anger. Abra felt something was wrong. Quickly, Abra took the file from Ardi's hand.
"What does this file mean?" Abra did not understand, Ardi turned towards Abra. Then I turned to Haykal.
"Ask your beloved father!" Ardi said, Abra turned to Haykal.
"What am I doing?" Haykal did not understand. Abra gave the file he had in his hand to Haykal.
"Wait, why do you know all this?" Haykal said to Ibra, shortly after he read the file given by Abra.
"I'm not the only one who knows. Dew already knows, if papa is behind the termination of school renovation funds!"
"Ibra, speak clearly!" Abra did not understand, Ibra looked down. There are limits Ibra shouldn't say. If Abra had to know everything. It was not from him, but from Dewun.
"Sister Abra!" Calling the Dew softly, Abra turned towards Dewun. Abra walked up to the Dew, but the Dew stood just below the last rung.
"Darling, what's really going on?"
"I'm sorry brother, sorry I kept a big secret from you. I should have said it a long time ago. Time doesn't seem to let me say everything. Today, I will say what I should have said long ago!"
"Darling, what are you hiding? As bitter as that is, please say. Believe me, I won't be angry!"
"Sister!" Said the Dew stuck, Abra stared fixedly at the face of Dewun. It is a doubt that is so difficult to express.
"The file you have in your hand, it's a copy of the flow of funds from donors. The funds I raised, for the renovation of the school I worked for. The school where I studied, the school that began to break down inedible age. I deliberately did a fundraiser, in order to renovate the school building that began to be fragile. Hope the funds I collect can be a new hope for the children in my village. A small gift I left before I left my little village!"
"Why didn't you tell me? I can help you, at least for the sake of the children in your village!" Said Abra disappointed, Dew looked down lethargic. Feeling clearly the disappointment of Abra.
"I don't want to burden you with my dreams!"
"But you can tell Ibra. Would you rather ask for his help? Or do you trust Ibra more!" Abra said loudly, Dewun looked up while shaking his head slowly.
"Sister Abra, I misunderstood you. Dew never said anything to me. I know it myself!" Said Ibra, trying to defend Dewun.
"Shut up!" Abra said, showing his hands towards Ibra. Haykal and Ardi were anxious, seeing the ready quarrel.
"As for brother, whatever brother's opinion I will accept. But believe me, my silence is not to ignore your affection. I want everything to happen with my hard work, not someone else's help!"
"I am someone else to you!" Abra said softly, Dew silent silence mute. Abra's disappointment grew. Abra misunderstood the words of Dewun.
"Abra, that's not what Dew means. Actually, Grandpa knew about the fundraiser. But when Grandpa offered to help, Dew refused. He didn't want to take advantage of the relationship with the Abimata family!"
"But I'm her husband, not anyone else!" Abra said softly, Ardi nodded while gently patting Abra's shoulder. Hope Abra can understand the reason behind the silent Dewun.
"If I had not been afraid of being humbled by your family. Maybe brother's the first person I'll tell. But our different statuses, the one eye of your extended family. Makes me realize, if I wasn't who you were then? I was arrogant, thinking I could do it all without you. But my opinion is wrong, there is a high price that I have to pay when I become the daughter-in-law of the Abimata family!" Said the Dew, Abra looked astonished. Feeling the word Dew a signal. If the relationship between them, becomes a burden for Dewun.
"Darling, what do you mean?"
"Abra, calm yourself. Let the Dew say it all. Remember Abra, what did you hear? Not necessarily according to your judgment!" Ardi said, Abra shook his head slowly. Abra really doesn't understand.
"Abra, papa has reminded you. Our status with her is different, she doesn't deserve to be my daughter-in-law!"
"Mr Haykal, maybe I'm not your dream daughter-in-law. But I'm not someone like you either. Someone who can do contempt, just for the sake of pride alone!"
"Shut your mouth, do you realize who you're talking to?"
"Yes I realized, I spoke to the rich and proud Haykal Abimata master. Someone who thinks, treasures can buy everything. Even buying one's self-worth and kindness. Proudly you use wealth, buy the conscience of those who help me. Just so I realize that I'm nothing more than a beggar in front of you!" Dew said loudly and firmly, Abra turned to look in disbelief.
Ardi was speechless at the anger of Dew, a pain that seemed to be true. After everything Haykal did on Dewun. The respect that disappeared and no longer deserved Haykal as a father-in-law. Ardi sat away, he didn't want to interfere. Ardi believes, Dewun is able to solve everything on his own.
"Dear, relax!"
"Sister might be able to calm down, but do I have to calm down? When I saw my village's children threatened to drop out of school. Do I have to be patient? Accepting the attitude of master Haykal that exceeds the limit. I kept quiet and respected him, all for the sake of wanting to see your calm. But a person's patience has its limits. I would have been quiet, had my body been hurt. But with a stand, Mr. Haykal stopped the renovation. Just to hurt me!" Dew said softly, suddenly Abra pulled the body of Dewun. Tightly clenched the tiny body of the Dew that shook violently. The anger and pain are so obvious. Abra felt claustrophobic hearing sobs and the sound of Dew shaking.
"Papa, what do you want to prove?"
"Abra, papa didn't do anything!"
"Liar, you ask the donors to stop their donations. You threaten them with your power!" Shouting Hysterical Dew, Abra was inflamed hearing the yelling of Dew.
"Darling, take it easy I'm right next to you!" Said Abra, while cupping the face of Dewun. Trying to calm the Dew, not for Haykal's sake. Abra was just afraid something might happen to Dewun.
"But!" Dew said in between his sobs.
"Husssttt, as long as I'm around. Trust me, everything will be fine!" Abra said, while covering the mouth of Dew with his index finger.
"Tante Indira, can you please take Dew to the room!" Pinta Abra, Indira nodded slowly.
Indira walked towards the Dew, with full tenderness. Indira holds Dewun's hand, but Dew just silently sculpts. Dew turned his head towards Abra, as if he did not want to leave Abra.
"Darling, I'll finish it with papa. Rest, calm yourself. What did papa start? I'll end it right now!" Abra said softly, and then kissed the soft Dew forehead.
Tap Tap Tap
The steps sounded away. Abra sighed, trying to calm herself down. Ardi and Ibra felt an unusual air. A ready rage exploded, becoming the beginning of the destruction of a family. Haykal fell silent, staring at Abra's back which held a stupor of anger. Haykal glanced at Abra's angry gaze. A bomb ready to explode destroyed the foundation of the Abimata family.
"Abra, papa didn't do anything? He's just making it up. The woman wants to see our quarrel. Trust me, you don't do all that. The village lady, she's in our family!" Haykal said loudly, Abra looked down at the floor where he stood. Both of his hands clenched so tightly.
Praaaayyyyrrrr
Abra throws her smartphone in any direction. The sound of cell phone shards, echoed throughout the house. Abra's anger is completely out of control. Abra was disappointed, with Haykal's actions. Haykal's words cornered the Dew. The more burning the anger of Abra. Great disappointment in the figure of the father who grew up. Making Abra emotional, not a upbringing for the good that Abra showed. It's an inappropriate attitude that hurts others. Abra was ashamed to be the son of the haughty Haykal Abimata.
"Abra, control your emotions. You don't see any grandfather!"
"Papa who should be silent, papa's attitude that made Abra angry. Papa's the most guilty man, but proudly papa blames Dewun. Is papa not ashamed? Dew, village woman without treasure. Women who are always humble papa, can have a noble heart. Papa, the city man with an abundance of wealth. Nothing more than a cold, stone-hearted man. Blind to the troubles of others, arrogant to power!" Abra said out loud full of emotion right in front of Haykal.
Plaakkk
"Abra, don't exceed your limits!"
"Parents who exceed the limits!" Shouted Abra, Haykal inflamed. The anger of Abra and Haykal can no longer be covered up.
"Abra!" Shouting Haykal in emotion, Abra looked at Haykal in disappointment.
"That woman is only a few months beside you. It's like living decades with you. Remember Abra, the father who raised you. You should have defended papa, not that woman!"
"Quite papa, enough papa to degrade Dew. If you really mind he lives in this house. Tonight, we will go. Shift my responsibilities, I'm responsible for his life. If he is not welcome in this house. Then I have to get out of this house!"
"Abra!" Ardi said softly, Abra turned to look at Ardi. The old man who had raised himself with an abundance of affection. Ardi who seemed afraid of losing Abra and Dewun.
"Grandfather, thank you for raising Abra. Thank you for introducing Dewun. Forgive Abra, if going is the last resort!"
"Stop Abra!" Haykal shouted, as he saw Abra stepping towards his room. Abra halted his steps, without turning his head Abra waited for Haykal's words.
"By him, you left papa!"
"Don't leave this house. For her sake Abra is willing to die. A dew that teaches Abra the meaning of a family. The dew that shows, what is warmth? Abra's awakening, how beautiful is love? Abra's life was empty without life, but after knowing Dewun. Abra felt that life was full of miracles. The village woman's dew is without treasures, but the Dew's heart is rich with sincerity!" Sahut Abra, then stepped up the stairs.
"Well Abra, papa will solve all this mess. Papa will ask them to give back the donation. Please don't leave papa!" Haykal said, Abra continued to walk towards her room.
"Say what do you want? Papa will do it!" Shouted Haykal, Abra continued to climb the stairs. At least Abra did not care about Haykal's yelling.
"Father, persuade Abra!" Haykal told Ardi. Haykal cupped his hands together, resting at the feet of the father who raised him. Haykal was really scared of losing Abra.
"Abra, don't go. At least for the sake of this old man!" Said Ardi, immediately Abra stopped his steps.
"Tell your son, ask him to come to see Abah Iman. Tell him to apologize. For he has insulted a daughter who was handed over to me with love and sincerity!"
"Haykal you heard it!" Said Ardi, Haykal nodded slowly.
"One more thing, have him return all the donors who helped with the school's renovation!"
"Haykal will meet all your requirements. Don't ever leave us!" Ardi said, Abra nodded slowly.
"Abra, forgive papa!"
"Never touch the Dew, a drop of her tears. It's gonna be a big storm in this house. I could have renovated the school without their help. However, Dews are more comfortable using funds than they are. Remember one thing papa, the soul of your son. Once the Dew goes, he goes to bring your son's soul. If that happens, your son will be dead in front of you!" Abra said coldly, then walked away.
Duuukkkk
"No, don't leave papa!" Said Haykal while sitting limp. Ibra who saw the fragile Haykal. Hugged Haykal's body.
"Why is papa this broken? It was especially so, Abra, until my father was fragile and paused for his forgiveness!" Ibra Batin.
