DEW PURITY

DEW PURITY
Tulip Flowers

"Abra, have breakfast!" Ardi said, Abra looked over. But the headband that became Abra's answer.

Ardi was confused by Abra's attitude. These few days, Abra looks restless. Almost every day, Abra comes home late at night. Even Abra missed breakfast with his family. Abra is a person who is crazy about work. But there is something different about Abra's attitude. Abra's anxiety is clearly visible, especially when Ardi sees Abra is daydreaming.

"Abra, sit. Grandpa hasn't seen you for breakfast in a long time. Even if you don't have breakfast, you can at least accompany grandfather. This old body, just asking for a little bit of your precious time!" Said Ardi, Abra nodded slowly.

Abra walked slowly towards the dining table. Abra put her briefcase on the middle room table. It was clear that Abra was reluctant to sit at the dinner table. I don't know what the reason for Abra's laziness is? But whatever it is, Ardi only cares about Abra's calm. The look on Abra's face was really moody. There is no passion to keep looking at the world.

"Maybe he was beginning to realize, a marriage with that woman would only bring him ruin. Papa see for himself, not yet a legal wife. That woman has made Abra weak!" Haykal said cynically, Ardi immediately stared hard at Haykal. Abra lowered her head, she did not care about Haykal's opinion. There was something stuck in Abra's mind. Something she wants to know, but it hurts when she finds out the truth.

"Shut your mouth, if your words are of no benefit. Remember Haykal, the woman you mentioned. She has a name, she's the woman you chose for your son Abra. The woman who without question darkened your son. The woman with the airy heart, accepted Abra as her husband!"

"It wasn't Abra who was lucky to get it, but it was the woman who was lucky to be our family's son-in-law. Papa don't forget, she's just a country woman with no education and no degrees!"

"Haykal, you've crossed the line. The dew may be just a village woman. But one thing you should know. Dew, only Dew is able to keep your son alive. Look at his eyes, when was the last time you saw them? Have you forgotten too? One week ago, Abra was full of warm joking laughter with Naura and Ibra. I don't think, where's your conscience? Obviously you saw your son turn more alive. But you keep closing your eyes and ears. Deny if Dew reason happy and sad Abra!" Ardi said full of emotions, Abra still lowered his head.

The debate at the dinner table, did not make him sidetracked in the least. Abra kept silent, playing with the intruding thoughts in his mind. Haykal pensively, there was a hint of guilt in his heart. When his two eyes, staring at the son who did not know when he was last hugged? Abra's head bowed down, as if a sharp arrow piercing his dark soul. Haykal was devastated when he realized that all Ardi's words were real and true.

"Darling, papa's right. Don't keep arguing with papa!" Indira said, his hand patted Haykal's arm slowly. Hope Haykal stops a debate that shouldn't have happened.

Indira looked at Abra who was sitting right in front of her. A son who was never born from his womb. The son she kept longing for his warmth. A son who never received his presence. Although Abra was never rude, the distance Abra made was too deep. Until Indira can't get through it. Sometimes Indira wishes, just once. Only once in her life did Abra run to hug her. Removing the distance between mother and child that continues to exist and deepens.

"But what Papa said is true? He will only be a pest in Abra's life. It's appropriate that Abra's sister gets an educated woman. Not a country woman without education!" Sahut Naura, Ardi glared at Naura. Ibra immediately stepped on Naura's foot very hard.

"Awwwrss!" Shouted Naura, right after Ibra stepped on her foot.

"Naura, grandfather has already revoked one of your credit cards. Don't let Grandpa take out all the fancy amenities in your life. Learn to appreciate the lives of others. One more thing, Dew may be the village woman. But who is he, you don't know? Don't let me, you're sorry for what you said!" Ardi said firmly, Ibra shook her head slowly.

While Naura immediately bowed listlessly. Ardi's threats never lie. Naura was scared to death. Life without luxurious facilities, never imagined by Naura. Since childhood, Naura was used to living in luxury. It would be very difficult for him, if all his facilities were revoked.

"Abra, why are you quiet? They all doubt the Dew!" Ardi said softly, but Abra did not turn his head at all. Abra dissolved in his mind. The events of that night, obviously made him sad. Honesty Dew, real makes Abra hurt.

Flashbacks

"Darling!" Call Abra, Dewun stopped his steps. He looked towards Abra who was down. Abra averted her eyes from the beautiful full moon. Abra was too embarrassed, to admire the beauty of the moon.

"In a week, you will officially be mine. If possible, you are the woman who will give birth to my sons. For the relationship we are going to have. Will you answer the one question that has plagued my mind!" Abra said, Dew nodded slowly.

"Say!" Sahut Dew cold, shortly after nodding his head.

"Who is Ibrahim Dwi Abimata in your life?"

Duaaaarrrr

"Why did he ask that?" Inner Dew.

"Why are you silent Dew? What do I think about your relationship right? Answer the Dew, so that I don't think no!" Abra said softly, Dew runs towards Abra.

The Dew clasped Abra's hand, slowly the Dew pulled Abra's hand. He put Abra's hand right in front of his chest. Abra scrunched his forehead, he did not understand the intention of Dewun's attitude. While the Dew continues to hold tightly to Abra's hand. He hoped that Abra could feel the tremors in his heart.

"Grow!"

"Sister, feel my heartbeat!" Dew said, Abra nodded slowly. Although soft, Abra clearly felt the heartbeat of the Dew so hard. At first glance Abra was in pain, without Abra knowing the reason.

"Can't you feel it?" Dew said, Abra nodded slowly.

"The heart was beating violently, when my brother questioned my relationship with Ibra. The heart seemed to want to jump from its place. The heart that seemed to be shattered was struck by lightning. Heart ache when you hear the doubt implied in your question!"

"Darling, you misunderstood me!" Abra said, Dewun shook his head and then put on a knotty smile.

"No need to be afraid, I'm not angry. Brother has the right to ask that, so that our marriage begins with honesty!"

"Darling!"

"Ibrahim Dwi Abimata, he was originally just a schoolmate. The good looks of Ibra can anesthetize all the eyes of the women, except me. But one thing in Ibra that made me interested and admired him. Ibra's hands light, while helping some homeless people. Shaking my heart, making me feel full and aware. If there are still rich young men who care about the lives of others. When did our relationship begin? Two people who did not know each other at first, became so close in a short time. Every Ibra, there must be me and Nur. The three of us help people together. Fundraising, free learning of scavenger children. All we did for three years at SMU. The closeness of the same vision. It makes us so close and understanding to each other. Until finally the word love is said from the lips of Ibra. A taste I never wanted. A feeling hindered by the promise to Abah. A taste I might have felt for Ibra, but I never held on!"

"Then why are you staying away?"

"That's why you call his name in sleep!"

"Come brother, if I ever call it. Believe me, my heart is beating violently not because it still feels there. My heart is beating hard, because this heart is still learning to accept you. Your one doubt, being able to stop the beat!"

"Why do you keep accepting me? Even though you know my relationship with Ibra!"

"For I believe that the relationship between us existed long before I knew Ibra. The feelings between us were never real. But my faith in you, is real. Would it be wrong if my heart needed time to accept my sister completely. There is still time for you to step down from this marriage. If only your heart still doubted my honesty!"

FLASH BACK OFF

"Abra!" Said Ardi, holding Abra's hand. Suddenly Abra was surprised, when he felt the warm hands of his grandfather. Abra turned his head, he woke up from his daydream.

"What's wrong?"

"What are you thinking?" Ardi said, Abra shook his head slowly.

"Package!" Shouted Fahmi loudly, everyone immediately turned their heads. Fahmi came while carrying a fairly large challenge. A clear Rantang contained food, out of whom and for whom?

"Shut up!" Shouted Abra, Fahmi covered his mouth. Then put the bushel right in front of Abra.

"Don't be upset, here's a package for you. In front of me I met Dewun. He came on purpose, just to deliver breakfast for you. One more thing, the Dew phone broke. He hasn't bought a new one yet. He's busy preparing for your wedding. He also brought a lot of groceries. So now, stop being angry is unclear. Dew is fine, he can't contact these few days!"

"I think he deliberately stayed away from me. Apparently he has a reason, why his phone can not be contacted? Is the word Dewun right now? If I still doubt his honesty. I don't fully believe it yet, if Dew will be with me. Why am I so upset when I don't hear from you? It's not the Embuj who has to learn to accept me, but I'm the one who has to learn to be patient waiting for the word love from him!" Inner Abra, upon hearing Fahmi's explanation.

"Why didn't you say that earlier?" Abra stood up, and was about to meet Dewun.

"Free, he's gone. The dew immediately left, after giving this food away!" Sahut Fahmi, Abra sighed in disappointment.

"Abra!"

"What else is it?" Sahut Abra was upset with Fahmi.

"Three more days of your wedding. Dew doesn't want to see you sick, so eat your breakfast. If you don't spend it. I'll tell Dewun. And...!"

"Shut your mouth, I'll eat it!" Said Abra while smothering Fahmi's mouth.

"Truly great shoots!" Fahmi said with a laugh. Ardi smiled seeing Abra back cheerful.

"Tante Indira!"

"Yes Fahmi!" Sahut Indira's.

"This is a deposit from Dew. He asked me to hand it to auntie!" Said Fahmi friendly, then give paper bag Dew titip to Indira. With a confused look, Indira took a paper bag from Fahmi.

"Why did my mom take it?" Naura was upset.

"Shut up!" Indira lantang.

Indira opened a paper bag from Fahmi. There was a letter in it. Indira took a letter attached to a fresh tulip flower. Indira scrunched her forehead, she was astonished to see a sprig of tulips. Not only Indira, Abra and Ardi were curious about the letter written by Dewun. Indira picked up the tulips, then smelled them. For a moment Indira's heart was filled, accepting the warm attitude of Dewun.

^^^Assalammualaikum Wr. Wb.^^^

Sorry in advance Mrs Indira, please introduce me Dew Khafifah Fauziah. Sorry if I introduced myself by mail. Our first meeting did not go well and left a bad impression. So let me, greet you with great respect.

Along with the letter I sent. There was a sprig of tulips and a simple robe. The tulips I picked up deliberately, out of respect for you. A mother of a man who would become my husband. Mrs Indira, a simple robe I sent. The gems I sewed in the hope would be a testament to my love for the mother who raised my husband.

Mrs Indira, maybe this dress is not as expensive as a party dress that you can afford. But for the smile of my husband. I hope, you put on this robe at our wedding. Abra probably never told you. But trust me, there is an empty space in his heart. The room that misses the figure of the mother. Just one day, I wish the madam to be the perfect mother to Abra's sister. The mother who was longed for was deep in her heart.

If you don't agree, I won't be disappointed. But still come in place of the mother who never existed in Abra's life. Sorry and thank you for your time.

Ambun Khafifah Fauziah^^^^^

Indira takes a dark grey-colored gown. The game looks simple, but very expensive. Indira immediately grabbed the robe. A clear drop of tears fell on the eye peluhan Indira.

"The gift I never got from my real daughter. Now he's giving it away as a way to clear the distance between me and my other son. Dew, your heart is as clear as your name. Thank you for reminding me. If Abra misses her mother, it's not the mother who wants to replace her. Thank you, beautiful and beautiful tulips!" Batin Indira pilu's.
