DEW PURITY

DEW PURITY
Kanaya Decree

"Mr Abra, tonight I want to preach your daughter Kanaya. The woman who made my vision didn't switch from him. Not because of his face, but his attitude and kind nature. My tranquility went away, replaced by longing and laughter that disturbed my day. Just now you heard, how did he remind me in kindness? The reason that made me realize, he made me fall in love and only with him would I be happy. Actually, I want to preach Kanaya on the day of her graduation. But I can't stand this anymore!" haykal said softly, Kanaya walked backwards. He couldn't believe hearing Haykal's words.

"Mr Arya, I'm sorry. But this heart has chosen!" haykal said softly, Haykal turned his head towards Kanaya who was away from him.

The Duaaarrr Duaaarrr Duaaarr

"Kanaya!" call Haykal, when you see Kanaya running away from Haykal.

"Kanaya, I'm sorry!" inner Haykal, then ran after Kanaya.

"Darling, why did I hear someone asking for my daughter so soon?" abra said softly, Dewun patted Abra's shoulder gently.

"We're talking at home!" sahut Dew, Abra nodded slowly. The atmosphere became silent, no words were spoken. Silence suddenly felt, the cold night greeted everyone.

Haykal ran after Kanaya, leaving everyone with no strings attached. Nothing is so important to Haykal. Other than the current Kanaya, even Haykal no longer cared about the thunderous roar that sounded so loud. Lightning light like a white flash capable of splitting the sky. Haykal kept running after Kanaya. Right in the parking lot, his footsteps stopped. He saw Kanaya go off on his motorbike. Haykal is confused about having to chase, although his car will not be as fast as Kanaya's motorbike. Or stay still with a sense of anxiety that can make it go away.

"I have to go after him!" batin Haykal, while running towards his car.

Haykal solidified his intentions, running after Kanaya who was far ahead of him. The road looks a little quiet, because the cloudy sky starts to greet and the rain starts to drip. Haykal grew increasingly upset, his honesty that made Kanaya angry and left in the middle of the drizzle that began to fall. Haykal continued driving his car, looking out at Kanaya far ahead of him. Haykal is pessimistic, he can go after Kanaya. But everything was written, Kanaya's matic motor stopped in the middle of the road. Kanaya is upset with her motorbike. Haykal stopped just behind Kanaya.

"Why is he after me?" batin Kanaya was upset, while kicking her deflated motorbike tire.

Haykal walked over to Kanaya, the rain started to fall. The Kanaya hijab is getting wet with rainwater. Haykal was standing right in front of Kanaya. Hope Kanaya looks over, just caring about her presence. But Kanaya did not budge, Kanaya did not care about Haykal. Kanaya tried to shift her eyes. Haykal sighed, a sigh filled with regret.

"Sorry!" haykal said softly, Kanaya raised her face. He stared intently at Haykal's two eyeballs. It was as if Kanaya was ready to pounce on her prey.

"Sorry!" said Haykal again, Kanaya remained silent while staring at Haykal closely. No words or complaints from Kanaya's lips. Haykal grew more helpless, seeing Kanaya's disappointment which was peppered with anger.

"Sorry!" haykal said the third time. Kanaya shook her head weakly, Haykal lowered his head full of regret. Kanaya walked slowly, she kept walking and Haykal followed Kanaya's small steps.

The two walked under an increasingly heavy drizzle. Kanaya continued walking, until her steps came to a halt right on a long bridge. Kanaya stood right beside the bridge. Haykal continued to follow Kanaya's small steps. Though she was terrified in her heart. Haykal was afraid that Kanaya would act recklessly, seeing Kanaya standing right on the edge of the bridge. Kanaya looked at the river below her feet. Haykal grew increasingly anxious, he immediately stood beside Kanaya. There was no sound coming from Kanaya's lips. Only a speck of rain breaks the silence of the night.

"Kanaya, I'm sorry. Sorry, if my honesty hurt you. But believe me, I do it spontaneously. I can't imagine living with another woman. If in fact in my mind there is only your shadow. There's no way I'm pretending to love another woman. If there is only your name in my heart. No matter how perfect she is, but in my soul there is only you. Hate me with all your heart, but never do anything stupid by going forever out of my sight!" said Haykal lirih, Kanaya was silent not budging. His gaze remained straight, Haykal's words did not make a distraction.

"Kanaya, I'm sorry!" pinta Haykal said he hoped Kanaya would stay away from the edge of the bridge. Haykal was afraid Kanaya was thinking shallowly.

"Why should I?" kanaya said coldly, Haykal turned his head clueless.

"What do you mean Kanaya?"

"Why did you choose me? Why are you sure of me? Why are you beating me?" kanaya said softly, Haykal turned his head and looked down.

"You're sure, I'm still in high school. Marriage is far from my imagination. I'm just a spoiled child, my tough attitude won't be conquered. I am a person who is not easy to face, I am not a gentle woman. Maybe you can accept me, but your extended family. They were expecting the perfect daughter-in-law. A woman who will give birth to your successor. Gentle women who make them proud. I'm not the loud and wild one!"

"What do you mean?" haykal said, without Haykal knowing it he was holding Kanaya's body.

The Duaarrrr Duaaaarrr

The rumbling sound of lightning, did not necessarily make Haykal and Kanaya flinch. The rain that covered their bodies. Doesn't make both of them move. Cold did not dampen Haykal's desire. The cold night bears the silent witness to two different hearts, but wishes to be united in one sacred bond.

"Sir…!"

"Call me as comfortable as you want. If necessary, I will change my name. I'll replace it, as long as it makes you comfortable by my side!"

"Sir Haykal, chanting is not just one word. There are many meanings in the simple word khitbah. There is a sacred bond that accompanies the word khitbah. There is sincerity manifested from the word sermon. One thing that is much more important, there are attachments that must be intertwined right after the word khitbah. Such a huge responsibility, not as easy as the word khitbah said. Honestly, Mr. Haykal, from the moment I met you until this very second. I'm not interested in knowing you. I never thought that my life would revolve around you. I never even imagined, if the ribs on my body were yours. But a few minutes ago, out loud and in front of my extended family. You menghitbah myself, binding my soul in a sacred bond. Even if you realize, I won't be able to be a part of your life. Not because there is no feeling in my heart for you. To celebrate my age which is far from the condition for that bond. Now, answer my question. If I agree with your sermon, what will happen to our relationship? On the contrary, if papa refuses your proposal. What will you do with your life? Will you jump into this river. Prove your words, if I'm the best and most important thing in your life!" kanaya said, Haykal stared in disbelief. Haykal let go of his hand, Haykal walked backwards while shaking his head slowly. Haykal did not believe Kanaya's words. Kanaya's cold gaze, as if stopping Haykal's heart.

"I understand all your words. I preach you with all my heart and I believe you are the best. I can wait for your readiness. I never doubted my race. I'm ready to fight for you. Accepting all your wild and hard. I will learn and continue to understand you. I love you so much, so much love you. I can't breathe without seeing you. But I'm sorry, if I'm never gonna end my life to prove my race to you!"

"Why?"

"I can't Kanaya, I'm sorry!" haykal said softly, Kanaya smiled cynically.

"Now, what's your decision? If I agree to your proposal!" kanaya said, Haykal looked up at Kanaya.

"I'll wait for you, until you're ready to marry me. I'm not marrying you now. I will wait for the word ready from you. As long as I'm the only one in my mind. I'm ready to wait as long as you want!"

"If you are sure of your decision. Come home, ask papa. Did he take off his little daughter? I am ready to receive your sermon!" kanaya said casually, then walked towards her matic motorbike. The rain was getting heavier, Kanaya and Haykal's bodies were soaked. But the cold did not freeze them. Because warmth is created deep from their hearts.

"You accepted it, why?" sahut Haykal doesn't believe it.

"Because you love me because of Him. You refuse to pawn faith for proof of love for me. One reason that makes me sure. You are a priest who has faith. A priest who will lead me to His jannah!" kanaya said, then went to push the motor maticnya.

"We go home together, if you keep raining. I'm sure, tomorrow morning you won't be able to welcome my presence!"

"But!"

"Get in the car, I'll have someone drive her home tomorrow!"

"Okay, my head's getting dizzy!" sahut Kanaya relax.

"Thank you, thank you, you've finally trusted me!" inner Haykal happy.
