Flashbacks... Alfred's Last Message

Hours before Alfred's death....

News of the arrest of Emir Aksal has been reported in various media outlets across Turkey. Both print and electronic media. The whole community talked about the star hotel entrepreneur, like a virus that spread everywhere. Blasphemy and scorn came out of every mouth.

As did Aaron Fallay who was sipping his cup of whiskey. His eyes kept on the horrendous news. In her living room, she screamed for her confidant.

"Did you tell the killer to write the name of Emir Aksal in Ted's palm?" aaron asked his confidant once he was behind Kenan's father.

"No sir, I just gave him a picture of Ted, and he made sure that before Monday, Ted would be a corpse" the man replied.

"That means someone else is sabotaging your work" Aaron said, sipping his whiskey back.

"A..What do you mean, sir?" The man looked nervous, in case he made a mistake with his master.

"You saw the news on TV!" harun exclaims while enlarging the volume of his TV sound.

Aaron's confidant looked serious about the news. "I don't think it was my man, how did he know the name of Emir Aksal?"

"Whoever killed Ted Baxter, that's an advantage to us. I don't have to dirty my own hands" Aaron said with a terrible laugh. He stared intently at his man, making his confidant bow his head with goosebumps.

In the middle of his laughter, there was a knock on the door. Aaron's confidant immediately stepped up and opened the door.

"You seem...., has your job been successful?" asked Aaron to the man who had just entered his living room. This man was one of Aaron's men who was given the task of finding Alfred's lawyer.

"I've managed to find the lawyer's hideout, sir."

"Good job...Say where is he at the moment?" asked Aaron who put his whiskey glass on a small table.

"He lived in a small house on the outskirts of Istanbul." Aaron's men gave him a picture of Alfred in front of his new home.

Harun took the photo, Kenan's father smiled mysteriously staring at Alfred's photo. "I'll surprise you, my dear Alfred!"

Aaron immediately came out of his study followed by his men. They immediately rushed to Alfred's lawyer's hideout.

"Are you sure this is his house?" aaron asked his men while they were still in the car. The car stopped right in front of Alfred's lawyer's house.

Aaron Fallay, his men and confidants get out of the car. The three of them entered the courtyard. Aaron told his men to knock on the wooden door that was in front of them. Aaron and his confidants hid behind the walls of the house.

Looking at a window curtain in the open from the inside, a middle-aged man raised his face behind the windowpanes. He was about to see who the guest who came to his house was this early.

The door of the house opened, Alfred's lawyer emerged from behind the door.

"Who are you looking for?" ask Alfred's lawyer who doesn't recognize Aaron's men. The lawyer squinted his eyes, looking at the appearance of Aaron's men from top to bottom.

Aaron's men did not answer the middle-aged man's question. The young man walked slowly closer to Alfred's lawyer, making the middle-aged man instantly rewind his steps.

"What do you want?" ask the lawyer.

"How are you, Alfred? Don't you miss my laugh?" aaron asked with his trademark laugh, making the lawyer's hair stand up. The old fox's laughter had really intimidated him.

"Why didn't you tell me that you moved into your new house? Or rather your hiding place?" ask Aaron back.

The lawyer retreated his steps and was about to run towards the back door of his house, but quickly Aaron's men caught his hands and smothered him backwards.

"Where are you going to run, Alfred? I know of people who have wronged me, you're afraid I'm gonna wipe you out like Ted Baxter did?" Aaron scratched the tip of his firearm on the lawyer's cheek.

"My man killed Ted Baxter!" pekik Alfred's lawyer.

"Hahahaha.., you see! The man who sabotaged your work, confessed his deeds!" harun cried to his confidant.

"When I only lure you, Alfred!" Aaron shook his head. "You're really stupid and useless, old lawyer!"

"You should thank me, because I helped you eliminate Ted Baxter." The lawyer was trying to negotiate with Aaron Fallay.

Aaron lowered his firearm, his footsteps galloping on the floor, "So you think I should return your favor, huh?"

"Yes, I've lightened your work. If you kill me, you'll lose!" exclaim Alfred's lawyer.

"Hahahaha..what did he say?" ask Aaron to his confidant. "I'm going to lose? I'll never lose if I just eliminate one useless person like you!"

"You're wrong, Mr. Aaron. I always give you an advantage. If I die, you'll never know the one secret that will destroy you!" threaten the lawyer.

"Erkan Danner's son? Without your help, I already know who that kid is!" harun exclaimed, which surprised Lawyer Alfred.

There was nothing else he could use to protect himself. His US card is useless now. The middle-aged man's face was deathly pale, he could not escape the fury of this old fox.

"I've spent a lot of time just welcoming you and listening to your babble! I gave you a chance. But you let me down, Alfred. Don't blame me. If you have to end up like this!"

Dor....!

Aaron Fallay fired one of his bullets at close range at Alfred's chief lawyer. The lawyer collapsed instantly with the bullet still lodged in his forehead piercing through his head.

"One of the. son of Aksal, will surely destroy you...!" alfred's lawyer said at the last minute death picked him up.

Both the middle-aged man's eyes and mouth opened gaping, as if he was unwilling for his life to end tragically like this.

Aaron blew the smoke out of his firearm. Fresh blood poured down the white floor. The two men who were with Aaron could only rub his face looking at the corpse that was near their feet.

"The show is done!" harun turned his back and walked out of Alfred's lawyer's house.
