The Police Captain and his men just came out of the interrogation room after getting a confession from Ted Baxter. The two of them walked towards the Captain's study.

"Captain, where do we get those eyewitnesses?" ask the police officer who closed the door slowly. The officer looked very nervous and worried.

The Captain, who was spoken to by his men, seemed silent and pensive as he opened the curtain of his glass window. He stood his back to his men.

"Captain?" the officer asked once more, because the Captain did not answer his question.

"Yes, I hear you. I just lured Ted Baxter away so he could confess. But it turned out to be a boomerang for us." The Captain expressed his concern.

"Then what should we do, Captain?" ask the officer. "Do we need to extend his detention time?"

The Captain's back was raised in line with his head, signaling that the choice should not be made. "If we extend Ted Baxter's time in custody, then his lawyer will be suspicious, and urge us to immediately release his client,"

The Police Captain seemed to think, while ruffling his waist, he walked back and forth to and fro in his room.

Tok...buttons..tok...!

There was a knock on the door from outside the Police Captain's room. "Get in." answered the Captain from his room still standing.

Another police officer went inside to see the Police Captain. "Captain, the Chief Prosecutor wants to see you."

"I'll see him now" said the Captain, who immediately left his study with a Ted Baxter file in his hand. Both of his men also left the Captain's office.

In the Attorney General's office

"Secretary," said the Police Captain when opening the door to the office of the Attorney General.

The Chief Prosecutor raised his head to see who dared to enter his study without knocking on the door first. He was busy reading reports on several cases.

"You seem to close and lock the door behind you, come here, sit down" the Chief Prosecutor told the Captain. The Police Captain did as the Chief Prosecutor ordered.

"What did Mr. Prosecutor call me here?" the Captain asked as he landed his body on the black chair in front of the prosecutor's desk. It is not usual for a prosecutor to be friendly with a police officer.

The Chief Prosecutor saw the file the Captain brought, it was in the name of Ted Baxter. As usual, despite having seen and found something he was looking for, the Chief Prosecutor showed no expression on his face. His face was always flat, under any circumstances.

"I'm straight to the point. I heard you managed to catch a high-class fugitive, with a murder case that took place twenty years ago. It's the last limit you've held, but until now... Why haven't you brought this case to justice? What's up?" ask the Chief Prosecutor to the Captain. Actually, this prosecutor official already knows what obstacles experienced by this Police Captain.

"The criminal files are incomplete to get into court. I can't bring in my witnesses, because there are no witnesses in this case" the captain said.

"You sure?" the Chief Prosecutor asked as he advanced his face closer to the Captain's face, as if this middle-aged man knew something. But the Police Captain looked clumsy, as he felt the Chief Prosecutor was disarming his work.

"What do you mean, sir? Do you know anything?" The Police Captain seemed to suspect something was hidden by the Chief Prosecutor. Something he doesn't know.

"I have the eyewitness you need, but I have a condition for you" the Chief Prosecutor said, playing his pen and leaning his body against the back of his high chair.

"Condition?" The Captain raised one of his eyebrows. Just this time, the Chief Prosecutor asked him to negotiate, usually a Prosecutor will not tolerate the error of the report made by the police. But this time the Chief Prosecutor is being kind enough to help him, albeit on terms.

"I'm asking for 24-hour witness protection from you, to protect my eyewitness. Do you agree?" ask the Chief Prosecutor who put his pen to the table, then he walked up to the seat of the Police Captain while extending his hand towards the Captain.

The Police Captain stood up from his seat and received a helping hand from the Chief Prosecutor. Deal happened. "Well, I'll protect your eyewitness, but.... If I may know who he is?"

The Chief Prosecutor whispered two words in the Captain's ear, "Princess Danner."

The Captain's eyes widened to hear the Chief Prosecutor's words, "He's alive?"

"Down your voice !! This wall has ears !! Remember our deal...." The Chief Prosecutor gestured by attaching one of his index fingers in front of his lips.

"I haven't talked to him yet, I'll let you know as soon as possible" the Chief Prosecutor said, allowing the Captain to leave his room.

After the departure of the Police Captain, the Chief Prosecutor immediately drove his car to the hospital. Since Hazal was critical, he has not visited his young prosecutor. He finds out that Hazal is now conscious, and wants to see her soon.

The Chief Prosecutor walked down the aisle of the hospital, looking for Hazal's room according to the information he got from the hospital clerk.

The middle-aged man with his almost half-bald head was standing right in front of the VIP room, Hazal's hospital room room room in the hospital. He knocked on the door slowly, then pushed the handle of the door made of aluminum.

Hazal, who was sitting on her bed with bandages still wrapped around her head, smiled at the arrival of her boss.

"Japheth, introduce him Chief Prosecutor, my superior in the office," said Hazal who introduced the Chief Prosecutor to Japheth who was sitting next to him. The two men shook hands.

"Thank you for taking the time to see me, Attorney General," Hazal said.

"Worker Hazal, I have something to talk to you about. It's about the job" said the Chief Prosecutor standing near Japheth. Hazal turned towards Japheth, the man understood and then went out leaving the two of them in the room.

"Is there anything serious, sir?" asked Hazal who immediately straightened her backrest.

"It's about the Ted Baxter case. You probably already know that he's been caught, and the police are about to take the case to court. But they could not present any eyewitnesses to flesh out their reports. The point is this case file is not complete." Hazal listened carefully to the words of his superior.

"You're asking me to be a witness in court?" hazal asks trying to guess the way his boss thinks.

"Yes, I told the Police Captain that I had an eyewitness who could help him. But I don't want to rob you of your dream of becoming a prosecutor. Don't you want to charge your parents with murder?" The Chief Prosecutor gave Hazal a choice.

Hazal tries to digest her boss's words, she must be faced with a difficult choice. As a prosecutor it is impossible for him to testify in a courtroom, and vice versa. He had to choose one that could make the criminal pay for his sins.

"I want to see Ted Baxter," Hazal's pinta suddenly.

"No, Prosecutor Hazal !! It will endanger your life. He doesn't know that you're alive" stop the Chief Prosecutor from refusing Hazal's request.

"What difference does it make if I'm a witness? I will definitely meet her in court, and open up my true identity in public !" hazal exclaimed with a sharp look at the Chief Prosecutor's eyes.

"After I meet the murderer, I will give you the answer to your question, sir," said Hazal, who still maintains his opinion.

The Chief Prosecutor could only shake his head, "You're really very stubborn, Prosecutor Hazal !! That's why I really like the way you work. I'll talk to the Police Captain so he arranges your meeting with Ted Baxter."

"I learned a lot from you, sir," said Hazal smilingly looking at the flat expression of his superior.

The Chief Prosecutor immediately took his cell phone and spoke to the Police Captain, "My witness wants to meet with Ted Baxter. Make their meeting schedule !!"

After ending his conversation with the Chief Prosecutor, the Captain summoned his subordinates. "Give Ted Baxter's file to court immediately !!" exclaim the Captain.
