DANGEROUS LOVE'S
Hazal Ring and Wedding Plan

I'm willing to let you out of my life, as long as I can still see you smiling. Even though your smile is no longer for me - Oei Monica

Japheth stood up from where he mourned Hazal's departure. He walked along the road in search of Hazal's ring. He arrived at a park that circled an artificial lake. The same place where Hazal mourned his farewell to Japheth.

"I think the ring fell in this area" he murmured.

He walked through the park. A circular garden filled with pine trees with an artificial lake that has partially melted. About an hour Japheth searched for the ring throughout the garden, but the result was nil.

"Did the ring fall into the lake?" thought. "But I heard it rolling somewhere."

Japheth went down five steps to get to the artificial lake. He wanders along the edge of a frozen lake to find Hazal's ring. The result is also nil. He sat on a stretch of snow that partially covered the surface of the lake, staring in the bluish-colored water. The wind blowing from the northwest blew on a few strands of his black hair.

A block of ice floated on the surface of the lake, something was shining inside the block of ice. The block of ice was in front of Japheth, flowing around the lake, and following the movement of the wind that took him out of nowhere.

Japheth looked at the block of ice from where he had his legs crossed. About ten steps an adult's foot would be a distance if walking on land. "What is that sparkling inside? Something small yellow."

The longer, the block of ice was getting farther away due to the gusts of wind. Japheth muttered to himself by the lake, "Little, shiny, yellow objects. Don't-don't...!"

Japheth immediately took off his boots, jacket and personal belongings such as his wallet and mobile phone. He immediately threw himself into the lake. He swam after the ice block. The more he swam after the block of ice, the farther it went. The cold weather that pierced his bones did not heed. He continued to swim trying to reach the ice block.

When one of his hands managed to touch the block of ice, the cold block escaped from his hand. Over and over again he lost that cold block. Until he swam around the artificial lake five times, then he managed to hug the ice block, holding it in front of his chest.

Japheth swam with one hand, while the other he used to hold the block of ice. He brought the ice block to the edge of the lake. He was looking for a heavy object to break the ice block. He saw a shovel lying near a pine tree. He took the shovel and smashed it into the ice block repeatedly until the ice block broke into pieces. But because the power is too hard when hitting the block of ice, making the ring thrown into the lake and sink to the bottom.

"Oh shit!" cry of Japheth who deplores his carelessness. He had to try to get the ring back.

Japheth threw himself back into the lake and swam to the bottom. Due to the lack of sunlight, Japheth had difficulty finding the small object.

The Emir's son swam up and out of the lake. He saw a janitor who was transporting garbage. In a drenched state, Japheth came to the janitor.

"Excuse me sir, can I borrow your headlight?" ask Japheth who saw a flashlight coiled around the janitor's head.

"Do you want to find something on that lake?" ask the janitor while pointing towards the lake.

"Yes, I was looking for a ring, a ring belonging to my beloved," replied Japheth.

This time fate was on his side, the janitor was willing to help him by lending a flashlight to Japheth.

"Quick find the ring, I will wait for you here" cried the old man.

"Thank you sir, I'll return this flashlight as soon as possible" said Yafet, who immediately put the flashlight on his head. He walked to the lake and threw himself back into the water.

The janitor shook his head at Japheth's strong determination just to find a ring. The old man sat under a pine tree and waited for Japheth to return.

Japheth swam towards the bottom of the lake, with the help of a flashlight that coiled above his head, facilitating his search for Hazal's ring. Occasionally he swam upward to breathe oxygen in the air and re-entered the lake floor to look for the ring.

Ten minutes passed, and Japheth had not yet found Hazal's ring. He swam to the other side of the lake, suddenly his gaze was fixed on two rocks at the bottom of the lake, the two stones were crammed together and in the middle of the rock there was a small hole. There was something sparkling emanating from within the hole. "That must be the ring!" yells. Japheth swam to the bottom of the lake, trying to retrieve the small object, but unfortunately his finger was too big to enter the hole.

His breath was almost gone, and Japheth swam to the surface and inhaled as much oxygen. The Emir's son went back to look for Hazal's ring at the spot. This time he tried another way, rolled the two stones slowly, so that the water current did not carry away the ring. This time he managed to take Hazal's ring. His heart was overjoyed to see that the ring was already in his hands.

As soon as Japheth swam back up, he gushed his head on the surface of the lake. He saw the janitor still waiting for him while sleeping under the tree. Soon he swam to land.

"Wohoooo!" he cried when the soles of his feet had touched the snow that had frozen. Japheth kissed Hazal's ring and put it in his wet pants pocket.

Japheth took off the flashlight that was coiled around his head, put back on his boots and jacket. Then he approached the janitor who was asleep. Not wanting to wake up the old man who had helped him, Japheth placed the flashlight beside the old man. Then he walked to the hospital, ignoring his palm which began to stiff because of the cold.

His footsteps brought him back to the door of the hospital lobby. Suddenly Japheth undoes his intention to see his father's condition, he turns towards the car park. Looking around, there was no Hazal car there.

"Maybe he's back home" he murmured as he closed the car door and stretched his legs and arms. "I have to solve my problem with Selina as soon as possible."

In the car, Yafet contacts Jason who is currently in England. Within seconds, the Englishman had already answered Japheth's call.

"Hello" said Jason, sitting in his study. The man was busy with a calculator and a laptop on his desk.

"Are you busy?" ask Japheth who opened the window of his car.

"Not really, just a regular office job," explains Jason who takes his pen and writes something on paper. "What did you call me at work?"

"Do you have Selina's cell phone number?"

"I think I exist, but it looks like it's an English number. You just try, maybe he has turned it into a Turkish number" replied Jason who immediately sent Selina's mobile number via a short message. Tit...tit..heard a notification sound of incoming messages to Japheth's phone.

"Why are you looking for Selina, don't you want to see that woman again?" ask Jason who has not heard the latest news about his best friend.

"Me and Selina are getting married."

"What?" Jason immediately stood up as soon as he heard Japheth's words. "Did I not hear wrong? You and Selina? Married married?"

"Yes, that crazy woman is pregnant with my son."

"What's? How's it possible?" Jason held onto his forehead which did not experience any increase in body temperature. "When are you getting married?"

"The story is long and I don't want to talk about it. After I meet Selina, I'll tell you when I'm getting married" explained Japheth, who rests his back on the back of his steering chair.

"Oh shit! I can't believe this. I'll book a flight to Turkey soon" said Jason, who shut down his laptop and tidied up his desk. Japheth ended his talk.

Jason was pensive in front of his desk that looked neat. The man rubbed his face many times and rested his head on the back of the black work chair. He felt guilty for Japheth, because of his information, Selina managed to pursue Japheth to Turkey. Now the mad woman managed to get what she wanted.

Soon Jason picked up his phone and told his other two friends, Lee and David. He doesn't care about the time in Melbourne approaching midnight.

"It's really crazy...! I can't believe it!" David's reaction was also in disbelief with the decision taken by Japheth.

"i'm serious. Selina's gone completely insane. Maybe soon he'll be celebrating his victory. I booked a flight to Turkey. If you want to come to their wedding, we'll see each other again in Turkey" Jason said on his phone screen.

"I'm also going to Turkey" said David, who immediately hung up his phone.

"What about you, Japanese man?" jason asked who now only saw Lee's face on his phone screen.

"I'll talk about this with Carina, I'll let you know again" replied Lee, who immediately ended the video call.

Meanwhile in Turkey...

After Japheth got Selina's mobile number, he immediately contacted the woman. What Jason said was true. Selina still uses the same number even though she is currently in Turkey.

"Hello" said Selina who was laying herself on her bed.

"It's me Japheth. Meet me at Galatta's cafe now. There is something I want to talk about" Japheth said in short, concise and clear words.

Selina woke up from her bed, "Now? I'm still in the apartment, I haven't dressed up and I...." Selina's words came to a halt when Japheth suddenly cut off her words.

"Talk to me now or never! Don't make me wait!" threaten Japheth with a tone of emphasis.

"OK-okay, I'll see you now" said Selina who ended her conversation and immediately threw her phone on the bed.

"What does he want to talk about? Will he approve my request?" muttered Selina who was smiling in front of the mirror.

Japheth drove his vehicle to the cafe Galatta. Amid heavy traffic in Istanbul, he turned on a CD player in the car, a romantic song that reminded him of his first date with Hazal in New York. He was not a melancholy man, but there were too many memories of him doing with that woman. He could not forget that love in a few hours.

In the middle of the twilight that had awaited him on the western horizon, Japheth exhaled as if he wanted to hold the clear liquid to not spill over his face. Thirty minutes later, Japheth stopped his car right in front of the entrance of the Galatta cafe.

A cafe located in the center of Istanbul, with its interior that uses a lot of wood materials that are brown. A partition wall resembling a bookcase is on the left wing of the cafe. Japheth chose a single chair seat made of wood with a backrest and a mat made of woven rattan. A square-shaped wooden table with a layer of glass on it, was right in front of Japheth.

Five minutes later, a red sedan entered the courtyard of the Galatta cafe. The car stopped next to Japheth's car. A young woman came down with her long black jacket, and her hair tied up. Her appearance was not as usual, this time the woman was dressed carelessly. Only wear powder without lipstick and without eye makeup. That woman is Selina Howard.

Selina pushed open the door of Galatta's cafe with her right hand. Sound tuk..tuk..tuk... from his heels that touch the marble patterned ceramic floor. He was looking for a man he had known a few years ago. Under the dim light of the lamp, he found the man.

"What do you want to talk about?" selina asked, pulling a wooden chair in front of Japheth, and she sat on it.

Japheth gave a sign to the servant, to prepare his drink.

"Coffee Latte," Selina told the waiter as she placed a cup of Turkish coffee on Yafet's table.

Coffee is not good for pregnant women.

Japheth cleared his throat after the servant recorded Selina's order and left the two of them.

"I'll marry you!" japheth cried without further ado. He sipped his Turkish coffee.

"Are you not kidding me?" Both Selina's eyes were wide open to hear Japheth's words.

"Did I ever joke, if I talked to you?" japheth asked while folding both his hands on his inner elbow.

Selina, who was happy to hear Japheth's words, stood up from her seat and embraced Japheth. But the man quickly put away Selina's hand.

"I don't need your hug or your kiss! Sit down!" yaphet.

Selina returned to her seat with her reddened face held in shame.

"I married you on paper. There's no party for our wedding celebration, because my dad's sick. Take care of your own needs, I will pay the bill. If you disagree, I'll retract my words!" The eagle's eyes intimidated Selina.

Selina's eye beads swirled around, digesting Japheth's words.

Doesn't every bride always want a luxurious wedding like a royal wedding? Soon I will marry the sole heir of the largest hotel owner in Turkey and the wedding is without a party? Oh that's right....

"Why are you silent? Do you disagree with my request?"ask Japheth.

"OK, it doesn't matter if you don't give me a wedding. But I want us to get married in three days" said Selina, staring at Japheth's face.

Japheth immediately took out a checkbook from his wallet and put some money on the check sheet. Then he tore off the check sheet and gave it to Selina.

"I think that's enough for our wedding to cost, until we meet for three more days on the civil record" said Japheth, who then stood up and left Selina.
