The Journey of the Four Sekawan - Second Negotiation

Japheth stared intently at the glass in his hand, the eagle's eyes looking like a knife that would cut and skin its prey. "This time what do you want, Lee ?" japheth said in his heart. The man left the dining table and walked up the stairs to his room upstairs without giving answers to his two friends.

"He just passed like the wind" said David who immediately put his cutlery on the table. Japheth's attitude had taken away his appetite.

"I think he needs time, dare to bet with me?... Japheth is going to see Lee" Jason said with his face drawn.

"OK... Who is afraid? Here's my car keys, take it if you win.But if you lose, give me your New York apartment" challenge David.

At Carina's house, Lee was waiting for Japheth's arrival. He was walking back and forth in the living room, rubbing his two hands that felt cold, in the scratches of his head that did not itch. He was really nervous this time. Carina approached him with a coconut cake she made herself. "Eat this, maybe this cake can take away your anxiety."

Lee took the coconut cake and ate it. The sweet taste of the cake gave her a little more strength to neutralize her anxiety.

"Where are you now?"

"I was at David's house in Italy."

"I video call ya...."

"Wait...." Yet Japheth answered, Hazal had closed his cell phone. He didn't want Hazal to see the bruises on his face.

Again Japheth's phone rang, a video call from Hazal.

"Hello..."

"God baby.... What happened to m Why is your face like that? Who hit you ? I'm going to Italy now..."

"I'm doing fine. This is just my little fight with Lee. You don't worry. Focus on your college."

"What little quarrel? Look at your face until it's like that, if I'm not around. Who will take care of you?"

"I can take care of myself. You don't have to worry."

"You're worrying me, baby. What if something happens to you, you get shot or stabbed like you used to? I'm going crazy thinking about it all."

Japheth laughed at Hazal's worried look, "Thank you, honey..... You're so worried about me, I'm going home safe."

"Whatever happens, go back home with your friends. I don't want to lose any of you, because I'm gonna feel so guilty. Just because you wanted to help me, I've put your lives at risk" Hazal said with teary eyes.

"I promise you, baby. Ilove you. Loves you so much. Wait a..."

"I'll be waiting for you, I love you so much and always miss you."

After ending his conversation with Hazal, Japheth's heart was set on seeing Lee. Hazal's words had given him encouragement. The man came out of his room and went down the stairs, where he saw David and Jason sitting at the dinner table.

"What's wrong with you guys? Why are you looking at each other's keys? Let's go !!"

"Where to go?" ask David with his face. His heart was already dug would lose one of his cars.

"Yes !! Did I say, give me the keys to your car" said Jason, cheering triumphantly. He managed to win the bet. David throws his car keys and grunts resentfully at losing a bet with Jason, but a promise is a promise.

"You drive" said David with a wry smile.

Sunlight had started to rise to the top, Jason drove his vehicle at a moderate pace, splitting Milan's heavy traffic. About an hour they reached Carina's house. Jason parked his car in front of Lee's car. The three of them got out of the car and got into Carina's house.

Ting...

The house bell rang loudly, the house voters came out. How surprised Carina was to see who was coming. It turns out Japheth and his friends. The three men just stared coldly at Carina's face. The girl bumblingly allowed them to enter the house. Quickly, Carina called out to Lee who was in her room. While the three guests just stood looking at the atmosphere of Carina's house.

"Finally you came too" greeted Lee, who had been waiting for Japheth's arrival.

"Give me what you have, then I'll get the hell out of here" said Japheth flatly without further ado.

"This information is not free" said Lee, who walked closer to Japheth.

"What do you mean? You want me to pay you?" ask Japheth with his high tone.

"I don't need your money !!! Pay me with Carina's freedom" Lee exclaimed.

"Lee !!" hardik David and Jason.

Japheth did not answer anything, the man simply turned his back on Lee upon hearing the Japanese man's request, then laughed loudly. Everyone who saw Japheth's attitude was filled with astonishment. Including Lee and Carina.

Japheth clapped his hands many times, "You promised him freedom right? So don't involve me. If you can't free your girl from her stepfather, you shouldn't have to protect her."

"Quick give me that information, or I'll send your girl back to the club' night !!" gertak Japheth who stepped near Carina. The girl hid herself behind Lee's body. He was terrified to feel Japheth's cold aura.

Lee immediately grabbed hold of Japheth's shirt and said, "Dare you touch Carina, I will never forgive you !!"

At first glance Carina saw Max's car running slowly in front of the house, and heard the car stop. Carina is sure it must be Max, her stepfather. Soon Carina shouted, "Lee...Max is coming !!"

"What's? Shitt !!! Why did he come so fast !!" shouted Lee.

"Hurry up and hide." Carina ran to the back of the house followed by Lee and the others. Carina opened the back door of her house, looking at the not-so-wide courtyard filled with three tall tree trunks. Around the courtyard was covered in high walls with barbed wire. There is no way out but to go back to the front door.

"Hide here first" said Carina. The girl went back inside and closed the back door.

"Why should we hide?" ask David in astonishment.

"He was about to take the chicks away from the landlady" said Yafet, who looked at Lee with an evil smile.
