At the burial area, Japheth still hugged and shouted calling Hazal's name, not only did the man feel a deep sadness. Even the sky that bears witness to their love mourns with the rain that poured down the bodies of Japheth and Hazal.
"Open your eyes, baby..open your eyes !!" japheth cried out with his words. But the two brown beads hid behind Hazal's eyelids. None of his limbs moved.
"Why is it that after the criminal was caught, you took Hazal from me instead? Why?" japheth cried out as if protesting against destiny, why is destiny so cruel to him.
"Take my life !!! Take my life now !!! Please return Hazal, "Japheth cried out to the heavens.
The man still hugged Hazal's body, as if he did not want to accept Hazal's departure. As her arms clung to Hazal's neck, her index finger felt something on her lover's neck. Hazal's pulse is still feeling. "You're alive, baby," muttered the excited Japheth. He wiped his tears and tried to lift Hazal's body.
When he was about to stand up, he saw a navel beside Hazal. A small pusara bearing the name FATIMAH BAXTER (Ny. Baxters). Japheth looked surprised, almost the body of Hazal fell in his car.
So the criminal came to Turkey, to bury his mother....
It turned out that fate gave way that he had not thought of before. For years, he and Smith searched for the criminal. But fate sent the criminal by himself to come to him. Either he must laugh at this game of fate, or he must grieve over the death of Lady Baxter who has helped him to capture the villain.
He limped while carrying Hazal's body, the wind and heavy rain making his strides even heavier. Japheth was in the car park and put Hazal's body next to his wheel.
The rain continued as Japheth left the cemetery and drove his car to take Hazal to the hospital. "Hold, baby. You have to see for yourself how the criminal must pay for his sins" said Japheth, holding Hazal's hand. But the owner of the hand did not respond at all.
Shortly thereafter, Japheth arrived at the hospital. He screams for the nurse and the doctor who are there to deal with Hazal. A nun had also cleaned the wound on Japheth's face and given the patient's uniform to Japheth, because of his soaked clothes.
The doctor decides to operate on Hazal's head, as the violent impact she has had left Hazal with a great loss of blood. Japheth contacted his father and mother, informing them that Hazal was in the hospital. They were also very surprised by the news that Japheth had just said. As she waited for her parents, Japheth sat in a waiting chair waiting for her to undergo Hazal's surgery.
No need to wait long, Aksal's husband and wife came in different directions. They met in the hospital lobby. Seeking information about their daughter's whereabouts, officers informed them that a patient named Hazal Aksal was in the operating room. Hearing the officer's words, both of Meral's legs felt limp. Almost the middle-aged woman fell to the floor of the hospital lobby if her husband did not hold her body.
"What happened, baby?" meral asked her husband.
"Okay, I don't know either. We have to go to the operating room, maybe Japheth is already there" said the Emir, who took his wife by the hand and walked in search of Hazal's operating room.
In the area of the operating room, they saw Japheth sitting lamenting Hazal's condition. The man was pensively holding his forehead with both hands.
"Japheth, what exactly happened? Why would Hazal get in the hospital?" ask the Emir who approached his son.
"Wouldn't you say goodbye this morning to visit her parents' grave? Why are you in the hospital? And why would Hazal have to be operated on?" asked Meral who was sitting beside Japheth.
The young man did not say a single word, he looked at his parents' faces with an impassioned face.
Meral touched Japheth's shoulder, made Japheth's heart feel calmer, then she said softly, "I shouldn't have left Hazal alone at the funeral, I instead chose to pursue Ted Baxter." He feels very guilty.
"Ted Baxter? Whatchu mean? The criminal is here?" ask the Emir who immediately sat beside his son.
Japheth told him what had really happened. His meeting with Ted Baxter at the cemetery, Hazal headaches, until finally the criminal was caught by the police and ended with Hazal lying in the cemetery area. "I'm really sorry I didn't take care of him" said self-provoking Japheth.
Meral hugged Japheth from the side, she understood the feeling her son was experiencing. On one hand her son wants to let out his grief, but on the other he has to keep his relationship with Hazal a secret.
The Emir patted Japheth on the shoulder and said, "Don't curse yourself, what you're doing is right. If you don't go after the villain, then forever we'll never be able to find him. Maybe this is the fate Hazal has to live with. We can only pray for his recovery."
"Why are you quiet, doctor? Quickly tell me, how Hazal is doing !!" yafet shouted while gripping the white uniform worn by the senior doctor. The Emir and Meral try to calm Japheth down, and remind his son that they are in the hospital.
Finally the senior doctor said, "There's something I want to tell you, there's good news and bad news."
"Say everything, doctor," the Emir pinta.
"The good news is that due to the harsh impact experienced by Hazal, the trauma of an accident that in his childhood gradually healed. The blood that came out of his head was the blood that had been clumping that made him always feel a headache when he tried to remember events in his past," it was the senior doctor who stood in front of the Aksal family members.
"What's the bad news?" japheth asked impatiently to see Hazal's condition.
The senior doctor sighed deeply, looking for the right vocabulary for his patient's family, then he continued his words, "Miss Hazal is currently going through a critical period."
As if in a lightning strike in broad daylight, Meral who heard the doctor's words, immediately fell in the Emir's arms. The middle-aged woman fainted unconscious. Both men were very surprised. Finally the Emir told Japheth to see Hazal's condition first, while the Emir took his wife to a hospital room for treatment.
A nun allowed Japheth to see Hazal's condition. Wearing a mask and ICU uniform, Japheth approached Hazal, who was lying unconscious. A white circular bandage covered his head, an infusion needle pierced the back of his hand, a breathing apparatus and a machine that was next to his bed that always rang a tit....
Japheth clasped Hazal's palm, brought the palm close to his cheek, "Wake up baby. Know it? I've managed to catch Ted Baxter, the police have arrested him, and put him in jail. You gotta wake up, baby !! You must heal !! Wasn't this your wait for a long time... Please open your eyes" sobed Japheth in Hazal's ear. But Hazal did not respond to anything.
"I don't want to trade Ted Baxter's life for yours, baby. Why is destiny always playing tricks on us? Shouldn't our story end happily because Ted got caught? I can propose to you in front of mom and dad, and we'll get married...Please don't leave me like this, Hazal...." Japheth could not hold back his tears. His heart was completely broken, like a sharp knife slashing his heart.
The sound of the door of the ICU room opening, Japheth immediately wiped his tears and stopped his speech. Apparently his father came to see Hazal's situation. His father could not say anything seeing the condition of his adopted daughter.
The Emir continued to look at Hazal's face as he said, "Dad remembered when my father met you at a hospital in Switzerland. Poor little boy, and now you're back lying here. Risking your life and death, son. I hope you can see you smiling again, my daughter. Seeing you come back alive, like you used to."
The Emir held Hazal's hand and sat down beside Hazal. "Erkan...Ayla.. please don't take Hazal away from my family. Let me give you the happiness I never gave you as a father. I want to see her walk on the wedding altar, handing her over to her husband who will take my place to look after Hazal. Please Erkan. Japheth, who could not bear to hear his father's words, could not hold back his tears.
"How's mom doing?" japheth asked his father.
"Your mother is awake, but the doctor hasn't allowed her to see Hazal, because your mother's blood pressure is so high" the Emir replied.
