A Sketch of a Bird

The next day, all Turkish media reported the news of Ted Baxter's arrest. The news also reached the ears of Aaron Fallay who was currently in his study at home. He was really angry this morning, his men no one dared to open his voice let alone approach him.

The middle-aged man smashed all the big and small furniture in his study, all the furniture that was there did not escape his anger. "Bring that guy here !!" his orders to one of his men.

The door of his study was open, one of his men brought a young man to enter. The man was Aaron's confidant to oversee Ted Baxter's every move. The man stood behind Aaron with a trembling body, knowing that he had done wrong to his master.

Aaron approached his confidant, then patted one of the young man's cheeks, "You know what's wrong with you?" aaron asked with his deadly smile emanating from his face. Aaron's smile was able to intimidate the young man. He shivered in fear before Aaron.

"Forgive me, sir. Let me live.." beg the man.

"Aaron Fallay only gives one chance, if you fail, then there is no point in living" Harun said with great emphasis.

Dor....!! the sound of a bullet hitting the man's head, with both eyes still open, the young man fell to the floor and died instantly. Aaron ordered his other men to throw the young man's corpse into the sea and clean up all the mess in his study. He came out of his study looking for his son.

"Where's Kenan?" aaron asked a servant who was in his house.

"Mr Kenan has already left for the office from earlier, Mister," replied his servant while bowing his head.

During this time Kenan, the son of Aaron Fallay never knew the business and dirty deeds of his father. His mother died when he was ten years old. Since the death of his mother, Kenan has felt very lonely because his father has always been busy with his business. When he was fifteen, his father sent him out of the country and he lived with his mother's brother. For many years he never returned to Turkey. Just five years ago, his father called him home to continue his father's company.

"The company's successor" those two words are what people often mention to him. But in reality, he was only the shadow of his father. It remains his father who is always in control and takes decisions in his company. At almost three heads old, her father still did not give her complete confidence.

Aaron Fallay walked in the garden behind his house, putting one of his palms in his pants pocket. While his other hand he used to hold his phone, he was talking to someone.

"I'm giving you one more chance, close the case anyhow !! If you make a mistake, I don't hesitate to eliminate you !!" threatening Aaron to someone across from his phone.

Alfred's lawyer looked at the screen of his phone, this time the threat of Aaron Fallay is not playing games. He has lost a lot of information about Danner's death. He did not expect the hitman Aaron Fallay was finally caught. His efforts to stall this case did not go smoothly, but one step away this case should be closed for good. But Japheth was a step faster than himself. He cursed the Emir's son who messed up his plans.

Today, the lawyer representing Emir Aksal went to the police station. He wants to know what developments are happening.

At the police station, Ted Baxter was in a special room that was soundproofed. A Police Captain was interrogating him. But Ted Baxter did not want to answer the question given by the Police Captain.

"You really tested my patience !!" shouted the Police Captain who was about thirty-five years old. He kicked down the table in front of him and grabbed Ted Baxter's shirt.

"What do you want, huh?" the Police Captain shouted in front of Ted Baxter. But the Captain's shout was only greeted with a flat gaze by Ted. The captain slammed a file in front of the criminal's face. While the bald man was not surprised at all, he seemed to be sitting quietly while his hands were still cuffed behind.

Suddenly the criminal made his voice. "You want to know, what do I want?" asked Ted with his low voice. "Come here..." Ted asks the Police Captain to get close to him. The captain moved his face toward Ted Baxter, a firearm seen in his leather jacket. "Give me a piece of paper and a pen" Ted whispered to the Police Captain.

Soon the Captain gave me what Ted had asked for. A piece of paper and a pen he put on the table. Ted Baxter just stared at the two objects with a flat facial expression. The Police Captain seemed to understand what Ted wanted. He opened the handcuffs on Ted's wrists.

In silence, Ted took a pen and scratched something on the paper. Apparently the criminal was drawing something. The Police Captain approached Ted, he was about to see what the criminal was drawing. Ted Baxter still continued to draw and did not care about the presence of the Police Captain who was bending over and sticking his hand on the table. Ted Baxter was drawing a bird standing with both of its large wings.

The Police Captain was amazed to see the picture of Ted, like a child who was amazed by the picture of the teacher. His back he put it on the table. Ted Baxter is still continuing his drawing, almost done. Minutes change...

The new Police Captain realizes that the suspect escaped, immediately sounds his alarm. He also pursued the criminal along with other police officers. Shot in front of the police station. The civilians who knew nothing ran away in fear of saving themselves.

Alfred's lawyer, who had been at the police station, smiled. He has made my job easier, run as far as possible.

Second by second and minute by minute it was already running. There seems to be a defeat on the side of the police, there were two police members who were shot. Ted Baxter, who had run out of bullets, tried to hide behind a police car.

"You can't run anywhere Ted, give up !!" shouted the Police Captain with his loudspeaker.

A police officer who saw Ted in the back of the police car immediately shot the car and the bullet managed to graze Ted's earlobe. The criminal threw his firearm and covered his bloody earlobe. One of the police officers who saw the direction of the firearm was thrown, immediately gave the code to the Police Captain.

Soon the Police Captain and several other police officers surrounded Ted Baxter's hideout. The bald man was surprised that the police force had formed a circle around him. When he was about to fight, a policeman presented a hot lead attached to his calf. The criminal was grimacing in pain, blood was flowing soaking his trousers. Police officers handcuffed Ted Baxter, and took him back to the police station.

Ted Baxter was hobbled by two policemen. Alfred's lawyer saw it from a distance. The gazes of the two men of Aaron Fallay met each other in a few seconds. Alfred's lawyer smiled wryly at Ted Baxter's recapture.

"Take me off...!! Untie me...!!" ted Baxter shouted until a police officer threw him back into the detention room.

"You can't hold me back, without a lawyer !! Give me a lawyer !!" he shouted once more to the police members who were locking his iron bars.

The police officer told the Police Captain that the criminal had asked for a lawyer. " Give him a lawyer and a doctor, once things improve, we'll restart the interrogation process" Captain Police ordered his men.
