Chapter 64: Activating the Generator

“So, don't try to get in my way, you bastard pests!”

That sentence sounded like a trigger for the anger of monsters. Ignoring the feelings of disdain that suddenly appeared to them, Barkata, Leechesta, and Illusionist-E again attacked Astan.

Illusionist-E attempted to attack from afar using the illusory influence of the eyes in their mouths. But this time, Astan was completely unaffected by the illusory effect despite having seen their eyes. Instan easily shot the eyes of the Illusionist-E to smash the heads of the monsters.

Barkata's entourage was increasingly densely besieged Astan, some of whom had hit him, but could still be shot to pieces before reaching Astan's body.

One large Barkata broke through the group of monsters, trying to attack Astan using the claws of both hands.

Astan resisted the long claw attacks using the rifle body. As much as possible, he pushed the body of the Barkata loose, hitting it using the rifle butt. And when the monster was pushed back, Astan shot his head to pieces.

The man again ran towards Room E where Tenma was still stuck around. However, Astan tried to stop his running rate because it was almost close to one type of monster.

Astan almost crashed and was about to shoot the Leechesta monster. If only he shot, then the leeches on the monster's body would spread to Astan's body as explained by Wirma earlier.

The assault rifle spewed more bullets, piercing, ripping meat from the monsters. Atan occasionally fills ammunition while running, shooting again, avoiding various attacks by jumping, salto, and various other acrobatic movements.

Tenma was finally aware of the influence of Illusionist-E. The pain in his body that was about to have an internal wound was gone. However, his head still felt quite dizzy.

Tenma shook her head a few times. “Ak-akhs…. I. I just feel dizzy. What happened to me earlier?”

“You were almost affected by the hypnotic Illusionist-E. Lucky I could save you.”

“Gosh...!”

Tenma breathed a rough breath, cursing his careless self as it could be easily affected by the abilities of the illusionary expert's monster. If Astan had not helped him, he might have died of deep wounds from strange hypnotic influences.

The two climbed the stairs to Room E. Tenma stood guard at the door, shooting at the monsters that were close to the room, while Astan ran towards the generator engine in the middle of the room. As happened to Edrick and Sadin when trying to remove the Crystal Core tube from the generator, the tube was stuck could not be removed.

“Macet.”

His hand opened the small door of the generator, seeing some minor damage the power generation engine had suffered.

“You can hold them a little longer, Tenma? I'm trying to fix this generator machine.” I started to repair the machine.

It only takes a few minutes, Astan finished repairing the generator. He stood up and again tried to pull the Crystal Core tube.

This time it worked. Instant immediately put one Crystal Core into the tube. When the whizzing sound of the crystal round rang out and a purplish-white light began to appear, Astan directly re-entered the tube into the generator.

“Chairman, I have inserted the Crystal Core into the generator Room E! Give generator access permission to Ship Core!” pinta Astan through helmet communication.

The two immediately came out of Room E through the next door, had to run back to the next room, which is Room D. On the bridge path to Room D, the number of monsters was somewhat reduced. Sorry, lately the update has become unstable. I adore the same business in RL and began to work for ama nih novel (meaning, I feel the story becomes more and more karuan. Instead of being entertained as a hobby, even a feeling of being a burden).

I will keep trying to update even though it is not regular anymore (bodo very'lah the same level of novel, oe just kepo the same contract system here). Maybe we will finish season 1.
