Two Drones flew around the ship's Core giant engine, on the left and right. His camera thoroughly browsed through every corner and part of the entire Energy Generation Area, without being left behind.
Two soldiers controlling both drones, were looking at the sight capture from there via the system panel, along with Wirma, Edrick, and several soldiers who were taking part in the sighting. While the rest prefer to keep an eye on the circumstances around, including Astan.
“How, Lavisto, Zered?” ask the drone user.
Still watching the panel, Lavisto replied, “On the left, precisely on the wall of the bridge to Room B, there is a mysterious hole there.”
“While on the right, between the bridges of Room D and E, there are two holes in common. The holes are similar to the ones we found at the beginning of the search and when attacked by the Barkata,” Zered continued.
Astan who was watching the situation around through the surveillance glass turned to them. “What about around here there is a Barkata nest?”
“There is a possibility,” replied Edrick, “But, I have a hunch that the creatures that are hiding around here are not just Barkata, considering we were attacked by Slime freak earlier.”
“Means, chances are there are other kinds of monsters here?” ask one of the soldiers.
“Can be.” Edrick asked Wirma, “Your radar can detect what is in the holes there?”
Wirma again tried to check something on the radar. “Cannot. The area here is too large. The range is not up.”
“Drone we can enable detection radar,” Lavisto suggestion.
“Ya, already. Try.”
Lavisto and Zered immediately gave orders to the Drone system.
“Enable detection radar feature.”
[Detection Radar: Active]
[Doing Detection on Reachable Areas]
The radars on both drones were activated immediately. Each drone was flown closer towards the holes found. They were quite surprised when they saw the radar capture results showed several blue dots behind each hole.
“Some blue objects were found,” Lavisto said as he looked at the drone's radar results.
“Aaah…. I was a little kapok when I found the blue object,” Wirma comments uncomfortable, “Tadi also, Barkata and Slime initially detected as blue object.”
“Perhaps because the monsters are in a state of calm, so our radar detects them as blue objects, harmless objects, ” Tenma responded anyway, “Or even that is considered harmless before finally turning red when knowing our existence.”
“The number is only that?”
Zered replied, “We only found a few blue dots. This amount can still be overcome.”
Edrick established his position. He was a bit hesitant to believe the number of blue objects in question was not so much. His brain began to think, trying to devise a proper plan in order to activate the four Crystal Core Generators inside each chamber.
After thinking, Edrick replied as calmly as possible, “Still with the initial plan. We only need to dispatch four soldiers from the remaining eleven. The rest will focus on protecting the control room. Because this control room is the most important center to be able to fully control the Ship Core engine. In addition, the control room is also very necessary to open the access of each generator booth in order to be able to channel the Crystal Core energy to the Ship Core machine.”
“So, this place should not be hit by any monsters. Damage to the control room would be fatal to the activation of the generator and the Ship Core. The control room is damaged, there is no access to the Core of the Ship, the energy is not channeled, the access to the entire ship is permanently dead. Final result, mission failed.”
Several soldiers whispered to each other, not expecting that the control room inside this ship was very important to them at this moment. It does need more soldiers to be able to protect the control room to make sure it still works.
“Then, what about the four soldiers sent to power the generator in each room?” ask the other soldiers. “Crystal Core Setup is also too risky, especially when we find some holes that most likely contain dangerous monsters. Need the support of some other warriors besides the four of them.”
Wirma also argued, “The number of our members is now only eleven. If for example sending four more soldiers to accompany, at least two soldiers did the installation of the Crystal Core in one room, only three soldiers remained who guarded the control room. While the control room itself needs more soldiers to protect it.”
“In my opinion, more mending if we only need to send four soldiers to go to four rooms, each go to one room. If you see anyone who is in trouble, we can send at least one or two more soldiers who stand guard around the control room to help. Or soldiers who have finished activating the generator can help other soldiers to another room,” continued Wirma anyway.
Edrick thought that what Wirma suggested might have a point. It was quite risky to only send four soldiers to each room, whereas they themselves did not know what danger would threaten behind the holes they found in each area wall.
The chairman began to devise a plan based on drone observations, the situation of the area, and the advice of Wirma himself.
“I have a plan like this. I'll still be in the control room. It is my job to change the access of the entire Core Ship machine using the Hack Ability, because of course energy access requires official access from the data of the Feron Company. So, it must be hacked.”
“From this control room, there are two bridge paths to Room B and Room E. On the right and left of the path to the bridge to the two chambers, I would make an iron wall at the bottom of the chest just in case, then in front of it was Shield-mounted. The plan, two soldiers in charge of guarding on the left-right, and on top of each iron wall will be fitted Sentry as a support weapon to protect the control room.”
“Two Drones themselves are used to keep an eye on the movements of the four soldiers, while helping to keep them from a possible dangerous attack. Two soldiers who have Sniper Rifle weapons will take positions above the control room, help protect the soldiers from a distance.”
Wirma tried to digest every plan Edrick described while looking through the data of the team members in the system panel.
“If viewed from the General Capability data that each member has, this plan can be implemented.” Wirma started pointing at some of the soldiers. “Bery, Farhan as a Type-3 Shield user will be on guard in the right-left lane around the control room. Irawan who has the ability Summon Type-2 later please install the two Sentry on the iron wall belonging to Chairman Edrick.”
“I and Zered who have Sniper Rifle weapons will stand guard in the top position, while Zered still trying to control the Drone. Lavisto also kept control of the drone, but also helped two soldiers who stood guard around the control room. Chairman Edrick will also assist pending confirmation from the four soldiers to open access points to the Core Ship. If the four soldiers need help, one of the soldiers standing guard in the control room will come help.”
“Sadly, two Martial user soldiers have already died in the corridor earlier. So, we can't improve the attack capabilities of other members.” Wirma turned to Edrick. “What do you think, Chairman?”
On second thought, Edrick nodded in agreement. “Very according to plan. That means, the rest will be sent to the four chambers to activate the Crystal Core Generator, namely Daren, Tenma, Sadin, and Astan.”
Edrick was a little jolted to realize that Astan was one of the soldiers who would be assigned to go to one of the generator booths.
As said earlier, it was rather risky to send soldiers to go to each chamber when there was a high chance of the monsters coming back to attack. While Edrick himself trusted Mavin and Harnan to supervise Astan well.
“So, during the mission, we entrust Astan to you, Chairman Edrick.”
Behind his helmet, Edrick let out a heavy sigh.
If this is the case, what can I do?
