"Mr Princess, please give us justice" exclaimed an old granny in a raucous voice. The people around him say. They ask for the same thing.
"Really! Give us justice. Those nobles have made us suffer," a man who looked to be five-headed shouted out loudly. People gathered in a downtown auditorium. They've been coming since morning. Most complain about the same thing.
"They are very much. How where is this?" mainne said anxiously. Alice and the scholarly girls sit behind a hijab that restricts the views of the townspeople. It was the protocol Duchess Evianna had made upon hearing firsthand the complaints of her citizens.
"Madam, please tell the knight commander to keep them in order," Alice asked Anna, "I won't be able to hear them if it's this noisy."
"According to your orders, Your Majesty," Anna replied formally. He came out of the hijab and relayed Alice's message to a man with complete armour who had been waiting for orders. With one word Alice, the man shouted so loudly that all the people gathered in the auditorium fell silent.
"Patience and queue up neatly. Her Highness Crown Princess el Vierum will hear your grievances one by one," explained the knight commander. He added, "If you continue to be noisy like before, your complaint will not be heard clearly by the princess."
The queue posts were opened. That day, the whole town was off from work. Someone wanted to complain. There are also those who only intend to observe closely. A direct review of Crown Princess el Vierum is rare. Well, even in this case, the review was unintentional.
"Mr Princess, I've been deceived. The flowers on my debt keep growing. My field was vandalized and my house was snatched away," lamented a man in plainclothes who got the chance to come directly to Alice, "They even intend to take my daughter as a slave."
"We have heard and recorded your complaint. You will get real justice. You can retreat now" said Alice from behind the hijab. He sat down with Mainne and Akilla as secretaries. Anna was beside him as an advisor.
Meanwhile, Rosemary, Aristia, and Aria were in another hijab. Florence accompanied them in carrying out their duties. Two knights were placed outside each hijab just in case.
The sound outside was very crowded even though it was not as loud as before. The people in the auditorium were very actively exchanging stories of fate and misfortune. They held such a deep grudge against the nobles of Aurelis City.
"The young master of the ruling residence likes to wander around. Many women became his victims, but he was not imprisoned even though many witnesses had been brought in" said one resident. A knight came and instantly made them speechless. The fierce face of the knight was terrible. The observing people thought that there would soon be a commotion.
"Who's the name of that selfless jerk?" ask the knight with a big voice. The person being asked is silent. The knight again asked, "When, what is the name of that brash young master? How dare he tarnish the name of a noble. Let me get him."
"Tom, you scared him. Are you not aware yet? His face was always angry," led by a knight who behaved more supple. He asked the same question more casually. They become more familiar with each other.
"Most people's problems start with money. Those loan sharks are really evil. How dare they forcibly deprive others of their rights" Akilla scolded. It is regrettable because the complaint paper in his hand is full of debt problems. Mainne nodded in agreement.
"The loan sharks are utilizing the interest system on the loans," explained Anna, "This practice is usury. That's a very forbidden thing for us."
"They're really sneaky. The flowers given were small, but actually very large," Alice gave her opinion, "Flower one percent per day, huh? Only the uneducated are tempted by it."
"All branches of the matter eventually returned to the House of Baron Puliu. They can suddenly dominate the market as early as 5 years ago," Akilla read out the results of her investigation, "Therefore, since the Saville Trade Union opened its branch here. They feel very bad."
"Why are they worried about the arrival of the Saville Trade Union?" Mainne tidied up the paper she had taken care of and turned her head.
"Saville Trade Union offers healthy cooperation. They don't give flowers or anything like that so people tend to them" Anna explained, "Because the makers of the act can't deal directly with a big union like the Saville Trade Union, they also harassed the little people they could reach."
"Like old grandfather that day?" Mainne confirmed his guess.
"The Regional Supervisory Board of Aurelis branch dared to falsify this diving report. Just for the sake of a useless lump of gold, they pawned his trust," Alice muttered bitterly. He ransacked the Regional Supervisory Hall yesterday afternoon. There is a lot of evidence of suspicious transactions there.
"You don't need to think too much about it, Princess," Anna saw Alice who was clearly starting to get tired, "Now, please rest first."
"True, the Sun is already overhead, let's take a break first," Akilla supported Anna's request before Alice rejected it.
"All right," Alice agreed. Files are immediately cleared. Mainne took the initiative to bring it. Coincidentally Rosemary and others also invited to rest at that time.
The noise outside was still heard. It sounds like the buzzing of the bees around the hive. The call from the knight commander made an instant atmosphere of silence. The break time was announced so that it left some people disappointed.
"The princess needs a break too. Please be patient and wait for each other's turn. We will reopen tomorrow if today is still not finished as well" the knight commander announced.
Although still disappointed, residents of Aurelis City still follow him. Some of them also disbanded, some decided to keep waiting so they could get the front line in the next session.
"It's very exhausting. My hands have been sore all day" complained Aristia. Rosemary patted him on the shoulder. "You can rest if you want to."
"Do you also want to rest?" aristia asked with a sheen of hope on her face.
"I will continue to do my duty" Rosemary said in a slightly satirical tone. The sheen on Aristia's face was gone and replaced with her tired gray face.
"I'll keep you company" Akilla blew a breath of fresh air and turned to Alice, "Can you, right?"
"Please. I'm not going to force you harder" Alice said. A moment later, he felt an uneasy air. His eyes swept across the ceiling of the resting room. Blank. There's nothing there.
"Maybe it's just my feeling" Alice sighed. The waiters brought lunch. Not until they were at the serving table, the gripping atmosphere again caressed Alice.
"Akh!" Mainne shut her mouth. His eyes were wide open like someone who was very surprised. Aria who was beside him also immediately moved.
"Mainne what's going on?" aria said in panic. The attention of the people immediately fell on him. The waiters who delivered the food stopped on the spot. It was as if something was holding them back.
"A ..," Mainne kept her mouth shut. His breathing seemed irregular. Anna came closer to check on him.
"Mainne, what's wrong?" asked Anna worriedly. The girl being asked was like holding something back. A moment later, a red liquid seeped from between Mainne's hands covering her mouth. Without even being told, everyone knew that it was blood.
"Mainne!" exclaimed Alice and the scholarly girls upon seeing Mainne suddenly faint. His palms were red with blood. His nose and mouth too.
"Call healers! Hurry along! Whoever call the healer!" exclaimed Anna who was holding Mainne in her arms. As if it had just awakened, the servants immediately moved back.
Alice hinted for the food to be pulled first. Rosemary asked the other waiter to prepare a comfortable bed. The scholarly girls were very surprised by the matter that happened.
