Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter
Chapter 114: Alder Village

"That's Alder Village," Ulu said as soon as they got outside the forest and saw the small settlement, "Try to ask for help from Baron Alder. He's a kind old man. The landlord must be willing to help you to contact Duku vi Alverio."

"Thank you, sir," said Rosemary to her friends, "We owe you a lot. We will pay this debt in the future."

"Be a good nobleman and lead your people fairly if you want to return the favor," Ulu shook his head in reverence, "That's enough for me than you give me as much gold as Mount Kaskas."

"Sir, you are so generous" Rosemary smiled with a sincere smile, "We will always remember your message."

"Yes, yes," Ulu turned away. It disappeared as quickly as it did when it appeared. Rosemary could only shake her head slowly at him.

"Mary" called Solid, who found a villager to guide them, "Let's hurry!"

"OK," Rosemary nodded and immediately caught up with the young man from the van Denburg Family. He walked side by side with Solid until there were children whispering to each other about the relationship. At first glance, they seem to have a special relationship.

"Oh, I really didn't expect it" an old man whose hair had grayed greeted Rosemary's entourage kindly. He was the village head and landlord of this village, Baron Alder who served in the Family vi Alverio. "You boys from the academy? How did you get to my remote village?"

"The story is long, sir," Solid replied. This time, he was the representative for his friends. "We who experienced it did not remember clearly what happened. When we woke up, we were all already in the middle of the Kaskas Forest. A man named Ulu also found and led us all the way here."

"Man named Ulu?" Baron Alder frowned. His right hand was stroking his beard. As a landlord in a small village, he was very familiar with his citizens. The old man even knew everyone, including the one born yesterday. However, he could not remember a man named Ulu. The name is actually very strange for the inhabitants of the Kingdom of El Vierum.

"Ah, I don't know," Baron Alder gave up on recalling the name, "He may be a native of the mysterious Kaskas Forest. I've heard from my people that they exist."

"Oh," Solid nodded in understanding, "It could be."

They also began to discuss the purpose of his arrival. In essence, Solid and his friends want to ask for help Baron Alder to be able to contact Duke vi Alverio as well as stay for several days. After they get a reply from the duke, then they will leave the village.

"Thank you, Mr. Baron," Solid extended his hand, "I will definitely repay your kindness."

"Hoho, it's an honor to help you all" Baron Alder smiled knotfully. He asked his servant to prepare several rooms for the children. Since the rooms are not too many, each room will be occupied by three to four children.

In the afternoon, a moustached-robed man came to Baron Alder. The man carried a gold token signifying that he was the messenger of Duke vi Alverio. His arrival was to deliver a letter from the Young Duke vi Alverio and ensure the existence of the children from the academy. After he saw the children for a while, he immediately left the village.

"Did our letter get that fast?" rosemary was confused. Solid turned to Baron Alder who was with them. Turns out, Baron Alder was just as confused.

"A quick trip to the city takes a day" Baron Alder said in response to Rosemary's question, "It should be that your letter has only reached the hands of Young Duke vi Alverio this afternoon. That is if the access is fast. Sometimes, we could only deliver a letter to the young duke master the day after arriving in the city."

"The clerk just came to check without saying anything," Solid commented later, "He might have come just to check. Perhaps, our letter has indeed been received by the young duke who happens to be on a walk. So, we just have to wait."

"Do you think that's possible?" Rosemary felt strange about the guess. Solid even replied casually, "Have it, just wait for the good news. I'm sure he'll send us help."

"But, instead of that Young Duke vi Alverio ...," an academy student was about to say a rumor about Derrick vi Alverio, but Solid hurriedly told him to be quiet by putting his index finger on his lips. The son of the van Derburg family said, "He is not what you think he is. So, just calm down and wait, okay?"

As Solid expected, a group of knights came the next day. They were escorting a beautiful horse carriage. However, the carriage was not from the Young Duke vi Alverio.

"Mary, thank goodness you survived" a little girl came out of the carriage. She is the only princess of the Kingdom of El Vierum, Alice vi Alverio and Crown Princess el Vierum.

"Mr Princess, how did you know that I was here?" Rosemary is happy to meet Alice again, but she is also confused.

"Because of her," Alice pointed upwards. There was an eagle flying down. The eagle landed on Alice's arm as soon as the girl extended her hand.
