"Mary, have you guys got here?" Solid makes small talk after the problem is over for a while. Rosemary looked at him in annoyance. The nosy young man had been listed on his blacklist as a man worth avoiding. He replied with a stern retort, "Are we imaginary to you?"
"What?" Solid did not understand the feelings of the girl before him. He only knew of the fact that the girl was hostile to him. He had completely forgotten that he had done so much in the past.
"What is senior doing here?" Aristia replaced Rosemary asked.
"Oh, I'm doing a survey" Solid replied casually. He felt more comfortable with the cheerful blonde girl. Her smile was dazzling to the point of almost making Aristia's heart beat, but the girl immediately rebuked her. Rosemary looked at him in disgust.
"Greetings, Your Highness Crown Princess el Vierum," Solid greeted politely as Alice approached. The young man sincerely respected the princess. Nothing was hidden by him. He was always rude to Antonio.
"You're here, is he here?" alice asked after answering Solid greeting. The young man frowned. Only one person Alice might ask of her.
"The crown prince is still undergoing the examination at the Royal Academy right now. He does not want to be disturbed. So I was sent away to leave. How wicked, right?" Solid showed his warm face which made Rosemary upset. He did not want his daughter's master to be close to that annoying knight candidate. Especially as he exaggerated his acting and said, "Your Highness Princess, please guide the crown prince well in the future."
"You! Stay away from the princess!" rosemary is fierce. His successful appeal made Solid flinch and shudder in fear. The son of the van Denburg family rose up and soon built a distance. He was very clueless about the hostility of the eldest scholar girl.
"Vice Chairman of the OSIS, you haven't changed at all," Solid sighed and again showed off a face that made Rosemary emotional, "When the succession to the change of office will take place soon."
"Shut up and get out of here!" rosemary's.
"can't. I was a witness. I'm an important person here," Solid's pretext refused, "You should send a bodyguard for me so as not to be killed by irresponsible people."
"Oh, so, huh? So, a talented young knight candidate as well as a young master from a respectable family needed a bodyguard while he was on a break from his studies. That's good logic and precise," Rosemary rattled a sharp smile to the point of giving Solid goosebumps. I don't know what the bright brunette girl was planning. He immediately withdrew his words.
"I also believe that you can handle it on your own, Senior Solid," Alice said with a cold face.
Solid smiled awkwardly. He could not linger against that Winter Princess. Especially with the aura of intimidation Rosemary who never subsided. His gaze was fixed on Aristia who looked at him in wonder. Then, he resigned to retreat without saying much more.
"Let's go to the Regional Supervisory Hall," invited Alice who was immediately greeted with enthusiasm by her friends. It had been three months that they had become a scholar girl and had begun to learn many things. This will be their first visit to the body which is directly managed by the Pearl Palace.
The return trip to the capital was delayed. The Regional Supervisory Hall in the city was suddenly rowdy. They had just heard of the sudden visit of Crown Princess el Vierum. The higher-ups there are also in the fog. Though previously they had made sure that the little princess would only stop for a while in the city.
"Safety to Her Highness Crown Princess el Vierum," greeted the director of the Regional Supervisory Hall with a mask of tranquility. There was not the slightest vibration in his body. His eyes were calm. His submissive actions were ordinary, but his heart was still not careless.
The case of the Central Supervisory Hall and Marianna City Region was already spread in every other branch of the region. They had heard the princess's assertiveness in cracking down on corrupt amtenars.
"Relax, it was because the princess was in the capital back then. There were kings and queens supporting him," a high ranking official tried to console himself with speculations that he thought were reasonable, but that did not appease him at all, "Now he is only accompanied by his comrades, a few ladies and gentlemen, a few ladies' ladies' ladies' ladies' gentlemen, and knights. He won't be able to act too much."
"Yes, yeah. Hopefully so," other higher-ups of mangosteen quickly expectantly.
The long-moustached director immediately obeyed Alice's orders. The mask is still firmly on the face. He also submitted a billion documents that still use old paper.
Alice checked it quickly. Anna helped him check the other documents he requested the director. The director continued to stand waiting for Alice and Anna to check. He was not allowed to leave unless Alice allowed him to.
The middle-aged man's legs started to ache. He complained inwardly while continuing to try to maintain his hypocritical mask. Her heart blossomed as Alice turned the last page without commenting in the end of the day.
"Get me the financial statements of every amtenar and nobleman in the city. Bring each of her documents to our Adenium Guesthouse as soon as possible," Alice looked at the feet of the man before her who began to look trembling, "After that you may rest."
"Okay, Your Majesty," the director was grateful as well as complaining inwardly. The good news is that he can rest soon. The bad news, he had not found a way to hide the financial statements he had manipulated all this time, while the knights of Pearl Palace were watching him.
"What's this?" Aristia stared curiously at the pile of documents sent to where the scholarly girls were staying. Mainne and Akilla were equally curious. Florence explained lightly and cheerfully, "This is your practical test tonight."
"What!?" exclaim the compact intellectual girls.
"Yes, this is a city administrative document. In exchange for the final exam of the semester, you will evaluate these documents," explained Florence casually, "Just relax, you have done it often in the Pearl Palace, right? Especially you two, Akilla and Mary."
"Maybe we'll stay here for a few days," Alice walked out of her room with Anna. Madam who helped Florence protect the girls was carrying another pile of documents. "So, I beg for his help."
"Give it to us" replied the compact intellectual girls, including Aria who had started reading.
...***...
"All financial archives have been handed over to the crown princess" reported the butler who served Baron Perres Puliu, one of the nobles who colluded with the city's ruler. He gritted his teeth. His face looks very upset.
"We could not refuse the inspection of the Owner of the Pearl Palace," butler reasoned to see the facial water of his master who was getting turbid every time.
"Basin' stupid boy!" Baron Perres breaking the table. His son, Young Baron Preves Puliu gasped in shock. He had been on his knees for hours in his father's office. Baron Preves yelled back at Preves, "You should think before you act! I've told you to be careful as long as the princess stays in town, but you still make trouble."
"Sadly, it was my father who taught me to do this" Preves lamented in his heart. He was furious too. Moreover, his legs have begun to cramp and tingling. He cannot escape punishment. His frustration made him think foolishly, "Can't the princess be bribed with gifts and money?"
"Say! Is all the transaction evidence deleted?" Baron Perres asked the order he gave this afternoon. Butler replied with a hide of doubt, "Everything is burned."
Butler did not dare to look at Baron Perres. He also did not want to report that the transaction documents held by the client had been held by Pearl Palace. He was too afraid to admit it.
"Good, as long as the evidence is not found, we will remain safe," Baron Perres was slightly relieved. His eyes looked at his son like a predator trying to catch his prey. "If we get caught after this, you're the one who's gonna have to take full responsibility."
The threat of Baron Perres made the hatred in Preves' heart grow even more. He does not accept blame for what happened. He only did what his father taught him. He swore inwardly, "If I hadn't been this long, I would have killed you with my own hands."
