It looks very small and fragile. Apparently charming. His horn action is dignified and graceful. Her unique Ruby red eyes stared intently fearlessly. People wouldn't believe he was ten if they hadn't seen him for themselves.
"Why do you accuse that the young man is a heretic?" his words were full of consideration. Sounds mundane, but a sharp stab for a sensitive person. The cold air seemed to come out of its tone speaking. That's the Winter Princess, Crown Princess el Vierum.
"Does the Holy Temple now have the right to judge other schools?" Alice continued her question, "While the first council is still unclear."
The Countess de Clarence developed the fan she wore. The first council was a meeting of priests and temple bishops from various places. At the council, there were two camps. Arius Sang Pandita Straight and Alexandrius The Pandita Wise.
"You are wrong, Princess," Bishop Otto denied. He did not hesitate at all even in front of Crown Princess el Vierum. After all, she was just a little girl who was underage. "The result of the First Council was won by the stronghold of Alexandrius the Wise Pandita. Clearly the Holy Temple was just following the truth."
"The outcome of the council was decided by the emperor," Alice explained the oddity of the council, "Do you think that emperors who do not even understand religious matters have the right to make decisions at the council?"
"You must not insult the Grand Emperor, the Princess," Bishop Otto glared sharply. His face returned fierce. The knight commander wanted to stop this debate but seemed to have no power. "Even if you're a crown princess, you must pay your respects to the great ancestor."
"Since when did that emperor become the great ancestor of the Kingdom of el Vierum? I've never heard of it in any history book," Alice did not shrink in the slightest, though she continued to be pierced with that fierce and creepy look, "We never had any kinship with her in the slightest."
"That is a patent ethic that has existed for generations" Bishop Otto replied. His tired face continued to be forced to shrivel. He took a breath to calm himself. "Any nobleman and royal family obediently followed suit."
"I've never heard of it either," Alice remained calm, "So, you mean the Kingdom of el Vierum should submit to an empire that has colonized and plundered many peoples' lands?"
"Don't get me wrong, Princess," Bishop Otto tried to correct according to his version, "The Holy Empire is the center of the teaching of the Holy Temple."
"What does this have to do with the Kingdom of el Vierum?" cut Alice, "The Teachings of the Holy Temple are just one of the many teachings espoused in the Kingdom of el Vierum. The Holy Temple has no right to govern us."
"Daughter, I understand your incomprehension because of your young age" Bishop Otto did not intend to continue the debate. If this continued, it could be that the Pearl Palace took action that weakened the influence of the Sacred Temple. "I'll get back to my business. Commandant...."
"You can get out first, Mr. Bishop," the Countess de Clarence decided to help Alice. The little princess's stern attitude had been enough for him. It's much better for a ten year old girl.
"Miss Countess, this is an urgent matter" Bishop Otto did not accept. He clenched his grip resting on the arm of the chair. His fierce face was too far from the impression of a pandita.
"Our mission was also urgent," the Countess de Clarence stood up while covering part of her face with an expanding fan, "Please come out first."
"Can't! I must take the heretic first" Bishop Otto insisted. He stood with his golden scepter of honor forming two downward-sloping spirals. His hand gripped the stick tightly.
"Commander, since when did the Holy Temple have the authority to take over the chivalric duties?" alice asked softly regardless of Bishop Otto's actions. The knight commander made it. The takeover rules of the case do exist in the Kingdom of el Vierum, but there are procedures that should not be missed.
"What are these storms?" a man's voice added to the tension. His cold voice restrained his anger. A man came with some knights.
"Greetings, my lord," the knight commander immediately stood up and bowed respectfully. Everyone is silent. Count de Clarence's eyes swept across the room. His wife is seen protecting Crown Princess el Vierum.
"George, explain what happened!" the Count de Clarence. The knight commander named George also explained the situation. He also recounted Crown Princess el Vierum's argument with Bishop Otto earlier.
"Lord Bishop, shouldn't you be compassionate and meek, let alone toward children?" count de Clarence's question cornered Bishop Otto. He was tired of being visited by messengers from the Holy Temple on a regular basis. So he poured out his anger on the bishop of the city he controlled.
"They are obstructing my duties, so I must be firm" Bishop Otto explained without answering the Count de Clarence's question.
"Lord Bishop, you haven't answered my first question yet" Alice interrupted. Suaranha resolutely sounded clear. The Countess de Clarence sat beside her in case anything was unexpected. Aristia also sat on the other side. The blonde-haired girl looked like a big brother protecting her beloved sister. "Why do you accuse the young man of being a heretic?"
"Isn't it clear that his thoughts are not in line with the Holy Temple?" Bishop Otto is more concerned with the way he talks this time. He held back his emotions that had almost erupted.
"Not in line with the Holy Temple? I heard the young man himself say he believed in the Almighty God," Alice testified, "Lord Bishop, you should know. This land is not the Holy Empire. You cannot accuse an Arisian of being a heretic at will."
"Tu... Princess, "Bishop Otto is about to snap back if he doesn't realize where he is. He was in the middle of those little princesses. The Count de Clarence was there. His reputation would plummet if he continued this matter. With a heavy heart, he retreated.
"The knight commander, according to the testimony from our people, the young man did not start a problem," Alice said after hearing a short report from Anna, "If there are no other problems, you can let go."
George glanced at the Count de Clarence first. The man with the mustache nodded in agreement. Although he was the ruler of the city, his hierarchy was still under the Pearl Palace Owner, Crown Princess el Vierum.
"Okay, Princess," George said. Actually, he was familiar with the young man who had been listening from the interrogation room. So, there's nothing more to worry about. He will give you a little advice later.
"The sentence is finished, let's continue the walk," the Countess de Clarence slapped both hands once. Scholarly girls came out of the narrow security post. They were relieved to have gone through those tense moments.
"So it was very exciting" Aristia said excitedly. The Countess de Clarence agreed. Apparently, her jolly demeanor was down from her mother. Mainne and Akilla also nodded. They were the most tense. It was a unique experience during this trip.
Anna breathed a sigh of relief. He did not think his nona will act frontal like before. If this situation repeats itself in the near future, he is worried that his beloved miss will be in trouble.
"I'll protect you, Princess," Anna muttered as she looked at Alice walking in front of her with the scholarly girls. None of it looks happy. He will keep that happiness until the Hereafter.
