Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter

Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter
Chapter 004: The Eye of Mirah Pomegranate

"Unfortunately, the ritual cannot be postponed," the witch played her fingers to recite the mantra, "It would be better if we had a healthy and fit offering. However, that's okay because all we need is virgin blood from the royal family."

Alice tried to close her eyes. He cried out in his heart to ask the Lord for help. It is not true that he was caught by those despicable witches. They would have done something bad to him, even after his body was lifeless.

Shht ...!!!

An arrow shot out as smooth as a feather, barely visible to the eye. Voxnus suddenly shouted. Blood poured out of his eyes. The white-bearded old man immediately knelt down. He wanted to pull out the arrow stuck in his eye, but could not bear the pain.

The threads that bound the wolves were cut off. They immediately ran away from Voxnus, afraid of the screams of his men and did not want to be tied back. Unlike the others, the biggest wolf boldly approached Alice, intending to prey on the poor little girl.

However, an arrow shot back. Nah! Not just one, but three arrows that shot in quick succession. Again, the arrow aimed at the eyes of its prey.

Just like his master, the giant wolf immediately howled loudly in pain. Two other arrows were pierced right in his neck and body. Its snow-white fur became stained with blood red.

His face of the giant wolf also stiffened furiously. He growls. His eyes swept toward the direction from which the arrows came. At that moment, he saw another arrow pointing at him. However, he could avoid it this time.

And another arrow. Some of them were right about the body of the giant wolf. Unfortunately, the giant wolf still stood as if the arrows were meaningless to him.

The white wolf stood in its place with a trembling body. He growled furiously while enduring the pain all over his body that was filled with arrows. At that moment, his instincts ordered him to flee.

Voxnus was still screaming so hard he didn't know his mount had gone out of control. His body was suddenly dragged away by the giant wolf covered in wounds. He was taken as far away as possible from the direction the arrow was fired. After the two criminals left, the archer showed himself.

"Allen!" exclaimed a young man, shocked to see Alice's extremely alarming condition, "What are you doing here? Don't tell me you're following me, huh? Hi, you can hear, right?"

"Who else is that?" ask Alice in your heart. His mouth was trying to say something, about to reply to the young man's question. However, not a single word came out from his mouth. He could only move his lips without a sound. He saw the young man very worried.

Alice blinked her eyes. His sight began to fade. His breathing almost stopped. Amidst those appalling conditions, he tried to recognize the young man who had just saved him.

The young man's eyes were as red as ruby, just like Alice's. That fact makes the princess wonder not dumbass. In all the kingdoms, there was no one with ruby eyes other than the royal family. He thought, "Crown prince!? How could he be here?"

"No, wait!" Alice saw the young man's dark hair in the moonlight. Only some of it is red. Unlike the hair of Crown Prince el Vierum which is bright red in all. Especially when doused in moonlight and sunlight. Alice again wondered in her heart, "He is not the crown prince. Then who? Who is that guy?"

Alice's hearing is dead. He no longer heard the voice of the ruby red-eyed young man. Faintly, he saw panicked water on his face. It made her even more confident as well as wondering, "Yes! There's no way he's the crown prince. The crown prince would not show such an expression. Who...?" who's...?"

Alice's body was lifted. Pain again gnawed at his body. He was no longer able to endure the pain. Lost sight. Gulita also wrapped her eyes. Simultaneously, it was already his destiny in the Kingdom of el Vierum. He will never go back there again.

The family was the family of the late King Herculius who was the previous king and Alice's maternal grandfather. At the time of the rise of the kingdom, her only remaining children were a son and a pair of twin daughters born at the end of the unification period. One of the princesses died before Alice's birth.

Currently, there were only two people with bright red hair in the kingdom. They were King Claudius el Vierum and Crown Prince Antonio el Vierum, while the ruby-eyed only three remained, namely Alice herself and the two men.

"Is that brother?" barin Alice guessed. Her brother's hair was dark blue as was the gene characteristic of the Alverio Vi Family, but she had a slight reddish color that was the gene trait of the El Vierum Family, similar to that of the young man.

However, Alice's sister did not inherit ruby-red eyes like her. Gen vi Alverio is more thick on the brother. Is it possible that the pomegranate's eyes are her brother?

"How is he doing?" the voice of the ruby-eyed young man was again heard in Alice's ears. It was clear sincerity in his tone of voice. The young man sounded very worried as if there was a deep bond between them.

"Sister," murmured Alice softly.

“Alicia!” exclaimed the young man heard Alice's soft murmur, “Hold!”

“But,” murmured Alice again. His voice was so soft that it was not heard at all. It seemed that only his lips were moving as if he wanted to say something. In fact, the girl said, “I'm not Alicia.”

The morning after the tragedy that night, the Knights of the Pearl Palace were found by the local residents in a very sad condition. Their bodies were scattered with the carcasses of dozens of large wolves. There are many scars and shakes on their bodies.

The faces of the knights were not easy to recognize. None of them survived except a young knight who seemed to be lucky enough. The sword that pierced his body did not hit the vital area, but his condition remained critical.

The news of the destruction of the Crown Princess el Vierum's entourage reached the ears of Young Duke Derrick vi Alverio at noon. He immediately left his job and rushed to the scene as soon as he heard it. His feelings are upset. He did not want to believe that his brother had been hit by a disaster.

The street where the tragedy took place was still full of blood when Derrick got there. The wolves' carcasses were cleared, while the bodies of the knights were taken to a nearby village.

Baron Alder, the village's landlord awaits Derrick's decision to act. He was a loyal follower of Duke vi Alverio for a long time. The Kaskas Forest suburb falls within its jurisdiction.

Derrick decided to bury the fallen knights. He did not find Alice's body there. Therefore, he hoped that Alice was the remaining victim even though he had been told that she was a young knight.

There was no way that young man was his sister. His hope was nothing more than futility. Derrick simply cannot accept the fact that Alice vi Alverio has disappeared.

“Alice,” muttered Derrick vi Alverio on the way to visit survivors, “You're alive, right?”
