Cordovia City, a week after Alice vi Alverio disappeared—
"Why isn't she awake yet?" asked an ayu girl with a worried look on her face. At first glance, the girl was similar to Alice, but with a more mature face.
"Calm down, Alicia," replied a young man sitting next to the girl, "Saying the healer, his condition has gotten better."
"Maustin!" Alicia did not like the light attitude of her twin sister, "But it's been almost a week!”
“Even more,” reply young man called Arnus, “If calculated by the time of travel to this city, he has fainted for more than a week. But, I already gave him emergency treatment when he stopped by the rural village of Kaskas Forest. At the time, his condition was very critical. Seeing him who can sleep soundly like now, means his condition has improved.”
“What's improved?” Alicia in disbelief, “If she has improved, she should have realized by now.”
Alicia's shrill voice was very loud. The chatty girl was unceasingly protesting at Arnus. In fact, the young man was not wrong at all, even if he failed to save Alice vi Alverio that night.
“Kakak,” a soft voice, but clearly heard stopping Alicia's nagging. The girl also looked. A second later, Arnus said, “See, right? He's conscious now?”
“Ha?!” Alicia slapped both of her cheeks slowly. The girl was surprised, but also happy. He had been waiting for Alice vi Alverio who was his cousin.
“How are you doing?” ask Arnus gently, “Is anyone sick or dizzy?”
“This is where?” instead of answering Arnus' question, Alicia asked back.
“At home,” Alicia who replied. He also helps Alice who is trying to sit down. After that, he immediately thrust a glass of water at the girl.
“Hm?” Alice blinked her eyes twice. There was a confused expression on his face. He also asked briefly, “Who?”
“I Alicia Mutia el Janna,” replied Alicia introduced herself, then patted her twin brother hard, “This is Arnus Hamza el Janna. We are close relatives loh.”
“Aduh!” pat–no, hit Alice too hard to make Arnus directly glared at her, “Hai! Pain know!”
“Cih!” Alicia clucked softly, “That's only a light pat.”
“Light what?” Arnus didn't accept Alicia's claim, “You deliberately hit me hard, right?”
“Basic manj–” Alicia almost mocked her twin sister, but a call put her words on hold.
“Arnus, Alicia,” call that voice, “Do not be noisy. Poor Alice who just took a break.”
Alice turned to the origin of the voice. His ruby-red eyes popped out instantly. His chest suddenly became tight. He saw the figure of a graceful woman with bright red hair, ruby eyes, and berparas ayu.
"Mother!" Alice immediately got up from her bed and ran towards the woman. She hugged the woman with longing. The woman he hugged returned his embrace.
"It turns out Alice was awake, yes," said the woman.
"It's because Alicia's nagging too hard" Arnus reported, "The voice must be bothering Alice."
"Mother," Alicia was not silently accused of that, "I'm just worried about Alice, not intending to disturb her at all."
"Yes, honey," the woman Alicia called her mother smiled, then put her index finger in front of her lips. His left hand patted the shoulder of Alice who was crying bitterly. Elianna el Janna, twin sister of Duchess Evianna vi Alverio.
"Hm, is he sleeping again?" Arnus watched Alice as the little girl's cry was no longer heard. He looked up at his mother with a face full of question marks. After that, he turned to his twin sister.
“What?” ask Alicia ketus. Apparently, the girl was still angry at her brother. He also threw away his face for no apparent reason.
"She's still tired," explained Elianna who then carried Alice back to her bed, “You guys came out first, yes. Let your sister rest first.”
“Hm, okay,” Arnus nodded obediently. He walked outside, followed by Alicia. As soon as he passed the door, he immediately provoked his sister again, “I said also what? He'll definitely wake up. You're the one who bothers him.”
“I'm just worried,” reply Alicia quibbled despite feeling guilty.
“Already, the important thing is salamat,” Arnus also patted his sister's shoulder, “We pray enough. Hopefully his condition can improve soon.”
“Hm,” Alicia nodded in agreement, “You were right. Hopefully he will improve soon.”
Alicia and Arnus walked in the long hallway of the palace. They were the First Princess and the Second Prince of the Kingdom of el Janna, a great kingdom located behind the great Kaskas Mountains. They were the ones who supported the Saville Family so that they could become large-scale international merchants. Instead, the Saville Family contributed to guarding the mountain pass and covering the existence of the El Janna Kingdom from other regions.
“Hai, Arnus, Alicia,” call a young man who suddenly appeared from behind the intersection, “You guys are out of the place of that little girl, right? How is he now?”
“She was awake earlier,” replied Arnus, “Now, she is resting in her room.”
“Arman is also curious about him?” Alicia looked in wonder.
“Don't assume I don't care like that,” Arman was offended by that look. He was the First Prince, the half-brother of Alicia and Arnus. However, their age is not much different, only three months adrift. “After all, your cousins are also my cousins.”
“Ya, just wait for the next news,” Arnus also invites Arman to leave. They're sister seayah different mother. If they were wearing the same clothes, people would think that they were twins even though their faces were not exactly the same. Because of this, Alicia sometimes felt envious of living as the only princess in el Janna Kingdom. As soon as Arnus came home to bring Alice, he immediately felt happy because he had a sister.
“Omong-by the way,” Arman so think of something, “I never thought that my sister would bring a girl after her from the trip out.”
“I've told you,” Arnus was upset because Arman suddenly offended it, “I accidentally saw him in danger in the interior of the Kaskas Forest. He almost got eaten by a giant wolf back then.”
“Hm, hm,” Arman mangosteen, then turn to Alicia to give him the code, “ That's really interesting.”
“Haha, like the story of the prince in the fairy tale,” Alicia instantly understood the intent of the code that her first sister gave, “Arnus, are you going to marry her in the future?”
“Hmph!” Arnus turned away unconcerned, “Where is a fairy tale like that?”
“There,” said Arman with a nosy smile on his face, “Not that story looks like the story of your father and mother?”
“Ha?!” Alicia pretended to have just come to her senses, but she was the one who spread the story, “True too. Arnus, you are romantic once.”
“Ck, basic!” decak Arnus who began to be annoyed with the jokes of his brothers and sisters, “He already had a fiance knows.”
“Kan new fiancee,” Alicia chimed in with the same nosy smile as Arman, “Who knows the future? I want her to be my real sister.”
“Ck!” Arnus again clucked, then accelerated his pace to ignore the two bullies, “What the hell are you guys?”
