Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter

Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter
Chapter 112: Efforts to Find Them

"Are they really going to get to the ducy region?" ask Alice who is on her way out of the capital. He just got a letter that Rosemary and the other academy boys are on their way to Ducy vi Alverio.

"The letter came from a trusted researcher," Anna explained without the slightest hesitation, "I believe it so much. For now, at least we confirm their existence first."

"Unfortunately, it took us seven days to get there" Alice said, staring out the window. He went outside the capital on the grounds of wanting to catch up with his brother who had returned to the ducy first.

"Calm down" said Akilla, sitting before Alice, "We have sent a courier to the Young Duke vi Alverio's entourage. At the very least, they would arrive just as the friends reached Alder Village."

"It's so strange," Alice pensively thought of the case that befell friends, "How could they move that far in just a day?"

"Magic," Anna replied flatly, "Possibly, they were bewitched with a specific purpose."

"Is this the Magic Tower again?" Alice tried to guess. Anna replied with a soft belt, then said, "I don't know. We have no evidence to blame them. All this time, they've always argued that there are wild witches roaming the entire continent."

"Importantly, our friends survived," Akilla chimed in again, "That's our priority for now."

"You're right," Alice nodded in agreement. If he had a faster vehicle than a horse, he would have loved to use it to pick up Rosemary and the others. "Hopefully you will get the letter immediately to form a search team there."

While Alice was on her way back to the ducy territory, the Count de Vool and the nobles were desperately trying to conduct a search. They followed every inch of the Kaskas Forest around the hunting grounds. The more days, their search area was widening. However, they had not yet received any meaningful leads.

"Aria, how's this?" ask Aristia worriedly.

The girl asked was equally confused. It's been almost a week since his friends disappeared. The commotion started here and there. Bad rumors spread. The most affected party is the Family de Vool. After all, they are the event organizers who are most responsible for any problems that occur.

"Do we have to go home first and tell the princess?" Mainne asked. Aria shook her head, then replied, "The city's mother must have heard this news. I've also been in contact with the Pearl Palace since yesterday the day after tomorrow. Hopefully the letter arrives soon. For now, we have to focus on finding Rosemary and the others."

"But" Aristia looked glum, "I feel useless here. I'm not as good as Aria who can join the search party. What am I supposed to do now?"

"You don't need to do anything," a middle-aged man suddenly walked up to them, "Give everything to the knights. We'll bring your friends home. So, you do not need to worry and take shelter quietly in the city. Including you, Lady Aria de Ernest."

"But–" Aria wanted to protest, but the middle-aged man's emphatic trinket kept him off guard. During this time, he could join the search party because he was a survivor. However, with his help, the search did not yield results.

"please understand. We don't want any other victims" the middle-aged man said, "According to the representative of the Magic Tower, the mastermind of the case is a wild witch who abducts children. Again, please be careful and wait quietly in the city.

"Hm," Aria nodded softly, "We understand."

That day, the combined knights went back into the forest. They spread all over, even camping in the woods. However, the courier who reports every day only gives a nil report.

In the castle of Count de Vool, the nobles were already very noisy demanding the safety of their sons. They protested, were angry, and even mourned hatefully at the count's residence. Unfortunately, even Count de Vool could not do much in those conditions.

"I understand how you feel" said Count de Vool, who was very depressed at the time, "My daughter also disappeared. Whatever happens, I'll find and bring it back home. Patience please. We have to work together to solve this problem."

"Omong empty!" snapped a man of cucumber nobility, "It's been a week. Do you think our children will survive if they are not found soon."

"..."

Count de Vool could only be silent. He had exerted all his efforts, including communicating with the Magic Tower. There was little progress when Melissa Melaleusa brought a suspect home. Unfortunately, the suspect was accidentally killed because Nana Magansei hit him too hard.

"I'll go again," said Nana trying to take responsibility. It also flew into space, hurtling deep into the forest. All this time, all he found were stupid bandits. He killed him and increased his strength.

On the eighth day, Nana detects a magic familiar to her. That's where Charlotte's magic is. Unfortunately, only the traces he found after going down there.

"What's wrong" Nana muttered as she detected another trace of mana, "I'll follow in her footsteps."
