“Crown Prince, finally you wake up too,” the soft voice of a little girl greeted Antonio as soon as he woke up. The figure of the girl was slowly visible after her eyes started to get used to the intensity of the light around. He sat down and found the girl he wanted in front of him.
“Thank you, Miss de Vool,” the voice of Charles came from behind, “Your healing magic is amazing.”
“Sir Charles need not hesitate,” reply Charlotte who smiled gently to Charles, “It is my obligation as a magician who has healing magic.”
“Before I never thought,” Charles sat next to Antonio and thrust a glass of water at him, “It turns out you are the rumored talented magician girl. I thought it was Nana Magansei. He was the only young witch who became a direct disciple of the Great Witch.”
“Miss Nana is my teacher. She's a unique and caring witch,” Charlotte blinked her eyes— had fun talking about Nana whom she was proud of. “He's been with me since the first time I joined the Witch Tower. We train together and create new magic there.”
Antonio, who initially wanted to say hello to Charlotte, fell silent. He was forgotten by Charles' arrival. Instead of worrying about his condition, he questioned various things in his mind. After getting tired of being a mosquito between Charlotte and Charles for a few minutes, she cleared her throat.
“Your Majesty!? Are you still sick?” charlotte was shocked. He was too late in the conversation with Charles to forget that his patient had not received further treatment. Antonio threw away his face. With little difficulty, he tried to get up until Charles had to help him.
“Your Highness, you'd better take a break first. There's nothing we can do here now,” Charles told Antonio not to fall. On his face was a worried hue. As an adjutant to the crown prince in the academy, he will be prosecuted if he is unable to properly protect his lord.
“Where are we?” Antonio only noticed around after Charles reminded him.
“Still unclear, Prince,” Charles shook his head not to know, “Currently, children from the knight class are observing around.”
“Let me down,” pinta Antonio after arriving near a large tree. He also rested his body there. His eyes swept around and found a scene he had never imagined before.
Blueish hanging roots, small rivers that reflect a beautiful and colorful light, as well as a variety of strange insects that mill around here and there. Antonio was amazed to see it, but also anxious to realize that he had lost his way in a disputable place.
“How many people are here?” Antonio tried to think clearly. He took a deep breath, then exhaled it. His eyes were still sweeping around. He saw about five people besides him and the two men who woke him up.
“Fourteen, six men and the rest women,” clear Charles complex. Among the children lost here, he was the oldest and wisest. However, his loyalty to the Imperial Family of el Vierum made him unwilling to lead the party. For him, it was presumptuous because there was Antonio el Vierum in their midst.
“So, yes?” Antonio frowned. Inwardly, he wished there was Solid van Denburg among the four students who were lurking. Again he breathed. His memory is still foggy about this strange event. “Charles, do you remember what happened before?”
Charles shakes. His memories were still not perfect as if something was blocking him. All the children stranded here are also experiencing the same thing except one person. Well, one guy. The boy did not dare to reveal the true events for fear that people would hate him.
“Lottie, aren't you a witch?” Antonio called Charlotte who was bowing in. The girl looked up immediately. A moment later, he nodded swiftly confirming Antonio's words. The young man then again asked, “Can you feel where around here?”
Charlotte speechless. He could feel where it was here. Very concentrated even. Balqis had approached and comforted him many times. The astral creature said that he could take Charlotte out of the way if he wanted to go alone.
“Can you find your way outside by detecting which path?” asked Antonio expectantly. Though not a witch, she understands little about that metaphysical world. If the guess was correct, they could have come out easily with Charlotte's help.
“Hah, well,” Antonio replied in a tone that seemed a little upset for some reason. He again threw his face away, leaving Charlotte confused. The magical girl was again bowed and drowned in her acute dilemma.
...***...
“There is a distortion where here,” said Melissa who suddenly stopped above the edge of a beautiful lake. His eyes swept around meticulously. A moment later, he found another trace of magic, “This is the mark where it sounds. The voice witch activated her magic here not long ago.”
“I know. She must be a surfing user,” Nana muttered annoyedly. The mana in his hand was concentrated spontaneously. Had the girl not been good at controlling mana, her hand would have exploded due to the excess mass of mana. Moreover, he was a type of destructive magician.
“Seluring, yes?” Melissa came down to the ground and squatted there. He also scratched his hand on a formation that was still clearly visible. “Not many sound magicians use surfing. Judging from the way he pulled the children into this space formation, there was only one person who could do it.”
“Hamelin, that cowardly man ..” Nana instantly knew the person Melissa meant, “how he offended me. I'll burn it to ashes if anything happens to Lottieku later.”
“Come to hurry,” Melissa reminded, “This formation was already active yesterday. We'll lose Lottie if we keep playing around here.”
Nana also immediately commited to recite the mantra while closing her eyes. That way, the mana spread to all directions. Shortly after, his eyes opened again with a furious look on his face. Without saying a single word to Melissa, she immediately slid towards the place she was after. Melissa sighed, then followed the witch girl away.
After half a day of flying in the sky, the two witches arrived above the forest forest. Nana immediately darted down there. He raised his hands high when he almost reached the end of the tallest tree. In an instant, dozens of fireballs sprung up around him. A second later, the fireballs shot down and exploded instantly.
“Who dares disturb my rest?” a voice came from the middle of the smoke. The green leaves fly from there. Like hundreds of sharp blades, the leaves shot towards Nana quickly.
Wush ….
Nana burned all those leaves in an instant. He put his hand down and found a man who was putting horses in the middle of the fire. A small, high-concentrated fireball appeared at his fingertips. In a short period of time, the fire shot as fast as a bullet towards the man he was after.
Duars!
Fire billowed where Nana's bullet landed. The witch girl growled and returned using her detection spell. His eyes widened instantly upon noticing the arrival of the mana attack from his blind spot.
“Akh ..!” the roar rang loudly. It looks Melissa who has now strangled the man Nana targets with a scary grin. His dagger is covered where is now covered in blood. With her loud voice, the girl asked, “Hamelin, where are the children you stole?”
“Cih! Crazy Witch Tower girl base!” hamelin's Ogat. His eyes flared with anger. He did not receive such a sudden attack. A hot blaze suddenly flashed right before his eyes. He also glared at Nana who again recklessly attacked him, “Kau!”
“Quick say! Where did you hide the kids you stole?” nana Bentak.
Hamelin frowned. He did not understand Nana at all. Blood continued to pour on her wrist, while she was still trying to break free from Melissa's strangulation. His body was suddenly thrown into a tree. He felt a fracture in some of his ribs. His mouth immediately spurted blood. Inwardly, he kept on cursing the two girls who had come uninvited.
