Alice looked at the cloudy sky in the sky. The black clouds gathered as if they were approaching the earth. That afternoon, the sun hid behind it, but the light was still hitting the earth.
Alice had been living in her grandmother's house for almost a week. He is very busy, although there is no official schedule. His relatives from the Van Ryvat family often came to meet him.
This afternoon was probably the quietest afternoon for him. He sat by a lake alone enjoying the peace. The birds fly back to their nests. Alice was curious and quietly approached a tree not far from her.
The birds chirped with joy as if they were giving thanks to the Almighty God. Alice had read a book about moving to God like a bird with all her heart to God. They leave in the morning hungry and come back in the afternoon full.
Every creature in the world has been determined by God. They just need to find a way to take it. There are many ways they can work. There are good roads and bad ones. Humans choose between the two.
God has commanded men to eat of the good and the lawful. It is not just a command and a limitation. There is wisdom behind every rule and prohibition of God.
Alice looked back at the sky. He also reflected on the teachings he had learned so far. Religion is neither a game nor a joke. Nor is it a tool for politics and extorting people's property.
Religion is the guidance of human life as a sign of God's love. It is a guide for those who believe to pass every test of life. Both in the simplest household matters to the extraordinary complex politics. Everything has its rules. The Wise God is Wise again.
Every rule and prohibition that God commands to all His creatures is for their own good. God does not need His servants, but they need God. Only a fool would think that God needs a servant to replenish His divine power.
"There are some scribes who bend their tongues and write false books for their own benefit" Duchess Evianna once told Alice. It seems like he is hearing it again now. It was as if her mother was beside her. "They sell religion and say, 'This is from God, ' when it is only their wish."
"Mother, right," Alice murmured as she picked up a flat pebble. He threw it into the lake. The pebble darted like a disc and bounced three times on the surface of the lake, only to sink. "The "Sacred Temple that ransacked the righteous teaching had its impact. Their credibility has declined since anyone has become aware of the many untruths in his teachings. Unfortunately, those conscious people think that all religions are the same. Looking at it is simply a way of the ancients to teach the ethics of life to the people after him."
"Alice, what are you doing here?" aria's voice sounded from behind. Alice turned her head and found the silver-haired girl standing not far from her.
"Remember," Alice answered briefly. He looked back at the calm lake. There are some lotuses whose flowers are ready to bloom at night.
Aria sat beside him. He looked at Alice who now seemed to have a lot of thoughts. He followed the little princess's eyes.
The afternoon sun was seen appearing behind the black clouds. Its rays color the clouds that are still white with a reddish color. Soon, it will drown.
"Aria, what do you see about the afternoon?" ask Alice without looking. He looked at the shadow of the sun depicted by the lake. Occasionally the wave ripples vibrate it so that it looks more attractive.
"The bettor?" Aria looked at Alice, lacking understanding with the intent of her question.
"Oh, that. The evening was the change of day and night," this time Aria explained. He also saw the sun that was getting reddened sharply, but the light was getting dim closed by the clouds. "Both cannot precede each other. When the light rises, the night is over. And vice versa. It was a natural phenomenon that God arranged in such a way. It won't change unless God wills it."
"What do you think of today's activities?" Alice asked again. This time, he turned to Aria, the silver-haired girl also faced him.
"That's exciting" replied Aria. A faint smile fell on his lips. His silver hair waving along with the breeze, also felt the peace of this afternoon. "This is the first time I've sailed on a lake."
Alice chuckled, "Me too. I used to be invited to get on a boat, but I was so scared back then."
"I understand how you feel. It was very stressful as the boat was swaying," Aria laughed, "I thought we were going to fall. Thankfully, the boat was safe."
"Yes, Mainne is very good at controlling it. I was shocked, "Alice recalled the incident earlier this afternoon. The hat of one of the scholarly girls was suddenly blown away by the wind. He also spontaneously tried to take it so that the ship swayed.
"The city of Marianna is a strategic port city," Aria imagined the city she had only read about through the book, "Not just a trading center there, the fishing beach is also the attraction. Mainne must've been used to playing boats at sea."
"No, I only occasionally went with my uncle to sail," Mainne's voice made Alice and Aria compactly turn her head. The Hamra Family girl stood behind them then sat down to join in.
"In Marianna City, you always see ships passing by, right?" Alice confirmed her sitting position. Now, they sit in a circle facing each other.
"Well, that's right. The ships are huge and great. The shape varies," Mainne passion tells, "The ship from the east is the most unique. The screen is big and wide. They brought a variety of trading commodities, including delicious spices. I also learned the basics of making paper from them."
"The ships.." Aria muttered. He who had never seen the sea in his life could only imagine the story of Mainne. He wanted to go on an adventure in the ocean with his friends someday. "It's magical, isn't it?"
"Yes, they bring many benefits to us," Alice added, "God has set the wind to blow and arranged the stars in such a way that we can learn the name of time and direction with it."
"Really God did not create everything in vain" Aria closed her eyes as she contemplated Alice's words, "Everything has its own role."
Mainne fell silent. He tried to understand the intentions of his two friends. In the midst of his reflection, he recalled, "We must return immediately. Madam Anna told me to look for you. I forgot instead. Sorry, yeah."
"No problem" Alice got up and followed the others, "Let's get back soon."
