No Choice

“Vice Chief Osis, where are we now?” a student asked as soon as she saw Rosemary standing next to him. He just opened his eyes. When he got up to sit down, his eyes suddenly widened. There were still many disciples of the Royal Academy who had yet to come to their senses. They're lying in all sorts of places. So far, only three people have been killed. They were Rosemary, a student from the knight class, and the student who had just asked.

“Lady vi Cornelia, what exactly happened?” the student from the knight class also asked while squeezing his crown. His head was still dizzy. His vision was still a little blurry. She can recognize Rosemary with her hair color.

“I don't know anything either. This place is so weird. Similar to the forest in fairy tales before going to bed,” replied Rosemary who first woke up. He looked around him closely. With his sage and calm personality, he had made some conjectures while devising a plan.

The trees around were so tall and lush that sunlight could not penetrate them. However, they have unique and beautiful hanging roots. The roots glowed a dim bluish glow. Therefore, Rosemary and her friends can see each other and get to know each other even though the surroundings are a little dark.

The sound of water rattling sounded. Not far from where the students of the academy lay, there was a stream that flowed clear. The shallow river was also glowing. Beautiful, colorful stones were scattered there. The stones are what emit light.

“Do not touch that water!” a screaming voice stopped Rosemary who was about to wash her face. The girl from the Vi Cornelia family turned her head. He saw a covered face that fell from the ceiling of the forest. However, he arrived at the ground smoothly.

“Nona, get away from the river immediately!” the masked man shouted again. Rosemary showed a face full of questions. He obeyed the man's orders and immediately stayed away. In his heart he wondered, “What really happened? What is this place?”

“Si, who are you?” ask Rosemary at last. Eve gripped suddenly just like that. The girl's body froze as if a mysterious aura was suppressing her. His two friends who were already aware also felt that way.

“Ula. My name is Ula,” replied the person in a faint voice. It is unclear whether he is male or female. Ula throws a batul into the creek. Not until the stone touched the surface did the splashing sounds come from the river.

Grain of water seemed to fly from the river. The stone that was thrown was instantly corroded, barely remaining when it reached the surface of the water. Rosemary and her friends who saw it shuddered in horror. He thanked Ula for warning him.

“Ah, yes. Whoareyou? Why did you get to this dangerous jungle?” Ula precedes Rosemary who wants to ask for information. That question shows that he is a native here or at least frequent visits to this kind of place.

“Sir Ula,” Rosemary decided to think of the face-covering man as a man, “Include, I am Rosemary vi Cornelia from the Kingdom of el Vierum. They are my friends, students of the Royal Academy. If you may know, where and where is this?”

“This place? This is the interior of the Kaskas Forest. Why are you guys going to this dangerous place?” Ula repeated her unanswered question. The man looked suspiciously. It was strange to see those noble children get to a place that even reliable hunters from the Kingdom of el Vierum could not touch.

“We ...,” Rosemary confused to answer. The brunette girl did not remember how she and her friends got to this place, let alone her destination here. The memory in his head could only remember until the opening day of the hunting peak.

Ula frowned for a while, then turned away without saying anything. His brain was digesting Rosemary's intent. He did hear about the hunting event, but he was sure that the place was very far from here. There is no way that children can get lost. He was also confused as to what to do.

The man immediately left by jumping high into branches on a large tree. Rosemary could only be stunned and looked at him in disbelief.

As Ula said, Rosemary reminded her friends not to approach the river. He also told them to gather in one place and record their friends. In total there are seventeen, three people are still not human. That number was almost a class in the Royal Academy.

“Mary, what exactly happened?” tanya Solid represents the other children.

“Entahlah. I don't remember either. Let's just wait for Sir Ula to return,” Rosemary replied after explaining some of the things she knew. Although he cannot simply trust others, he has no choice in this condition. Some kids seem to panic. They are so confused and scared. Few can be as level-headed as Solid and Rosemary.

This place was indeed beautiful, but it contained many terrifying mysterious auras. It could have suddenly appeared dangerous wild beasts, or deadly poisonous insects, even magic monsters as had been rumored. The longer here, the more dangerous the conditions will be.

“Nona vi Cornelia,” Ula suddenly appears near Rosemary. His sudden appearance certainly made the Vice Chairman of OSIS very surprised. Solid even swiftly whipped out the sword on his back and made the horses.

“Quiet, Solid. I'm sure he's a good man,” Rosemary said half-confidently with her prejudices. He cannot guarantee that statement completely. Therefore, he still signals Solid to be on standby.

“Kids, I will escort you out of here,” Ula said as she undressed. He is indeed a man. Just now the man briefly explained about himself. After being noticed in more detail, it turned out that he was wearing very strange clothes for the people of El Vierum Kingdom. The clothes he wears are black. There are four pockets on his face. The material also looks much different.

“Can we really trust him?” solid whispers suspiciously. His eyes stared intently at the strangely named man. He might want to take her out of the woods. It was possible that he was a person from an outback tribe in the Kaskas Forest. They are very dangerous and brutal.

“If you do not want to come, please just find your own way,” Ula said coldly as if she could hear Solid's soft whisper. He turned and asked the other children to prepare. Although the children were confused at first, they had no other choice.

“We follow him first, but do not lower the alert. We also will not get anything if we remain silent,” said Rosemary lirih. After the three remaining people were awakened and ready, this group departed. As they began to set foot, the children stranded on the other side of the forest had just woken up. They are not as lucky as Rosemary who met the local people who—maybe— kindly.
