Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter

Alice & Alicia: Religious Twin Daughter
In The Morning

"If you want to go around, you better be with them" Charles looked at the scholarly girls, hinting at Charlotte to just go with the girls. If the girl wants to, maybe Charles won't have to drive her to town again.

"Can't! Miss de Vool has to go back to town now. His family was already very worried," Rosemary's rebuttal made everyone turn their heads. The brunette came riding on horseback. His gaze sharply pierced towards Charlotte who was beginning to feel a bad premonition, "Take her now!"

"Hm, so, huh? Miss de Vool, come with me" Charles reached out his hand, "Count de Vool's mouth must be waiting outside."

Charlotte refused to accept it. He has been struggling to escape since yesterday. Will it all end up in vain?

"No, they left immediately after asking for cooperation with the committee earlier. I saw it before I got here" Solid delivered a glimmer of hope for Charlotte. The girl wanted to go back begging to stay for a while, but she was scared when she was stared at by Rosemary. The girl wanted him to leave immediately.

"We also have to accompany the crown prince after this, will not have time to take him to the city" Solid reminded. He does like to make trouble sometimes, but he is a person who always fulfills his mandate. "Mary, can you deliver it?"

"We leave it to the teachers from the Royal Academy. They will be able to deliver him soon" Rosemary suggested. He and the scholarly girls were also busy after this. They had no time to drop off the foreign girl.

"It seems Miss de Vool objected to that," Aria entered into the discussion. Since then, no one has noticed Charlotte other than her. The girl was the main topic of this conversation. Little Lottie could only look down and face sour. "Is there anything you want to say, Miss?"

This is Charlotte's chance to express her opinion. He might be able to settle in the camp if he said so. However, the opportunity was wasted. The little girl shook her head weakly in fear of the atmosphere around her.

"Even if he objected though, we still can't keep him here. This little miss has to go home now," Rosemary finally did not give me the slightest gap. He firmly decided on the outcome of that brief discussion. "Aria, could you please get the teacher to escort Miss de Vool?"

"Alright, I'll call out to her," Aria nodded. He turned his gaze to Charlotte and said, "You wait here for a while. We'll take you home soon. Dah, nice to meet you."

"Can't I really stay here?" I don't know why Charlotte just asked after Aria left. As he feared, Rosemary immediately looked at him sharply. The girl hurriedly looked down in fear.

"Mary, that fierce face of yours scares her. Can you relax for a minute? At least when I'm around you" Solid said recklessly. Again, he unwittingly offended the girl. His body was goosebumps as Rosemary's gaze pierced him.

"What else are you waiting for here? Do you still have business?" Aristia dismissed the tensions that were brewing. He then quipped Charles, "Or maybe Charles was still hoping to drive his lady?"

Aristia's joke was coldly retorted by Charles. He answered nothing but silence. After thinking and making a quick decision, he sighed and said, "We really have no business anymore. Sorry to interrupt your time. Solid, let's go. The crown prince may have been waiting for us."

As the two young men went, Adelina came to White. He searches for Charlotte after hearing from Aria. So, he immediately rushed over before the little girl left.

"Geez, when I still want to talk to you" complained Adelina, "You're going to visit again right?"

...***...

A bright morning came to greet the capital. The bells of the temple tolled three times, indicating that a general routine was about to begin. The city streets have also been crowded by urban frenzy.

Alice stared at the temple tower from the balcony at the residence vi Alverio. Since his friends left, he has continued to live in his family residence to care for Duke vi Alverio. Although her condition had improved, Alice still forbade her from working. She was like a hostess in the residence. Derrick could not go against his orders.

Alice's gaze swept toward the city center. The most famous monument that is an icon of the capital. It was the statue of the first king. A statue of a man with a sword on the ground.

According to the story told by the hereditary royal family, the first king was a wise and capable man. He was able to unite several cities and develop them well. The first king was very attentive to the people so it was very famous for its kindness. Prior to the time of the rebellion, the Holy Temple cultured his name as a saint.

"Because of the excessive praise, it is being worshipped now. Though he never wanted it" Alice murmured amid frustration as she saw some residents performing morning rituals in front of the statue. Unfortunately, he could not do much now. Her position has not been that high to make rules in the kingdom even though she is a crown princess.

"How is God so good to His servants?" alice continued with her sad eyes looking up at the sky, "When they had forgotten and wished Him. They never asked Him again. Why didn't God punish them?"

Alice did not not not know the answer to his murmur. He was just thinking about it and thinking about it. The girl also remembered the ruins of the city on one of her trips. The city has been dead for a long time. That said, they were hit by a major disaster. According to the surviving witnesses, the disaster hit them while they were off guard and playing games.

That is the wrath of God. There's nothing left of that people. They are the ones who have denied the prophets and their treatises. Only those who believe are saved.

Alice's hand shook without realizing it. He bowed in lamenting his helplessness. The girl wanted to call in the midst of her people, but she could not do that. He can only be a supporter of those who do.

"What do you think until you're so scared?" derrick's question roused Alice from her musings. The girl looked over and realized that her hands were shaking.

"Sister, what do you think of them?" alice asked, looking at the city center.

Derrick followed the direction Alice looked at. He saw the statue of the first noble king. People were calling and asking around him.

"They guys?" Derrick confirmed. Alice nodded. His sister replied, "They are poor fools. All their good deeds will be in vain."

"Can't we do anything?" Alice questions herself as a noble. He should be able to protect them so as not to get lost in such a stupid cult. However, he was helpless even though he reminded them.

"Please don't overdo it in measuring your responsibilities. You're better suited as a role model for the ladies in later social gatherings," entertained Derrick who disguised himself as taking over the burden on Alice's shoulders, "They'll be our business, the men will."
